Seraphina's POV
It was late into the night, and I had still not slept. No matter how hard I tried to force myself to rest, my mind simply refused to calm down. Every single time I closed my eyes, all I could see was Yura's furious face at the market earlier today and the hatred in her voice when she told me that she wished it had been me that died instead of Yuna.
Even now, hours later, the memory still made my chest ache in a way that I could not properly explain. I had known Yura disliked me before, but hearing someone say they wished you were dead to your face was an entirely different thing altogether.
