Seraphina's POV
I was worried about Electra after what Irina told me last night. Honestly, "worried" was probably too small of a word for how I actually felt. Ever since I ended the call with Irina, my chest had not stopped feeling painfully tight, and no matter how hard I tried to calm myself down and think logically, I kept imagining horrible things happening to Electra. The way Irina spoke last night genuinely terrified me because she sounded stressed in a way that I had never heard before, and hearing that Electra could not even walk anymore was beyond shocking.
Electra not being able to walk almost sounded impossible. She was powerful, dangerous, and practically untouchable.
