After the issue with Jackson was temporarily settled, Gan Guohui went to the new Gan's Restaurant to report to his brother and arrange the next steps.
Recently, Gan Guoyang often worked in the back kitchen of the new restaurant. On one hand, to boost the restaurant's reputation and attract customers, on the other, he wanted to spend more time with his father.
For the past two years, Gan Youwei's condition has worsened, his memory has seriously deteriorated, and with Gan Guoyang no longer competing, the elderly man has lost his memory anchors, like a lonely boat drifting in a strange sea, facing the gray and vast ocean, full of confusion.
Only in this place, a replica of the old Gan's Restaurant from the Tenderloin District of San Francisco, do Gan Youwei's increasingly clouded eyes show some of the past glory.
