Kill her...
I tried to strangle her, but when I realised I'd failed—my hands trembling with weakness—I wove silver threads to slit her throat. Yet instead of killing her, blood gushed from my mouth, eyes, nose and ears, and excruciating pain swept through my body, cutting off all my thoughts in an instant...
____________
I stood in a strange place, surrounded by a red mist that obscured my vision.
Beneath me, glass tiles reflected rivers of blood, and the walls were cracked and stained with blood; the pungent smell of blood made even breathing impossible.
Where am I?
For a moment I stood stunned, but gradually I began to understand what was happening around me as I gazed more intently at the palace...
This is my palace... and when I looked at my reflection in the shimmering cascade of crimson blood, I didn't look much older.
Oh... according to the record, after I had regained some of my strength, I ended up killing the healer, so I was placed under house arrest in my palace because my mental state is not stable, as they claim.
I raised my head and looked at the palace servants hanging lifelessly from the ceiling by silver threads stained red
Their skins had been flayed, their eyes gouged out, their teeth pulled, their noses and ears cut off, and the hair plucked from their heads
And the sea of blood on the tiles is their blood
I stood looking at them calmly...
It's not my fault… This is no excuse; at the time I was furious at the intense surveillance and being treated like a madman. I hated those servants because, although they didn't dare treat me with disrespect, I saw pity in their eyes, and they were gossiping behind my back that I was a mad prince; because of them, rumours spread and things got worse, and with my isolation by His Majesty's order, their nonsense carried some weight with the rabble.
That is why I punished them... but His Majesty did not understand this.
I looked at the hall, shrouded in a red mist and a heavy distortion from the brutal intent to kill that I was unconsciously unleashing, whilst behind me I heard the knights calling out to me and begging me to open the door as they tried to break it down, but silver threads held the door in a web that prevented it from shattering
The memory faded and I found myself back in my bed once more; I blinked twice until I could return to reality. The smell of blood still overwhelmed my senses to the point that I felt a slight numbness.
I took a deep breath, held it for a few seconds, then exhaled quietly
The Record... I had another vision from the Record, showing me what I had done back then.
The main reason for my exile and the erasure of my identity: a killing spree I had carried out, in which I killed hundreds of servants and subjects in my palace... a thirst for blood, a killing frenzy...
The healer, who had been busy supplying the healing formations surrounding me with energy, lifted her body and froze for a moment when she found me awake. She seemed hesitant because of my previous attack on her, despite my physical weakness.
"Your Highness…"
"Get out."
She began to speak hurriedly, perhaps trying to explain her position, but I stopped her with a command. She frowned at the painful exhaustion in my voice, but I ignored it as I closed my eyes; the sight of the clothes these people generally wear makes me feel nauseous... Let's just say I don't have fond memories of them, whether because of the mad scientists who conducted experiments on me or what happened in the records at the mental asylum.
I want to tear her to shreds, but just remembering the chain of events that would result from my killing her... once again, what I saw in the records was no joke, not even the sequence of my thoughts when I recall the records and my justifications for my actions... Everything seems so real, and even when I look at it logically, it's certain that His Majesty and the people at the court won't view my killing this woman positively… So let's calm down
"Excuse me, Your Highness, please calm down, I'm not your enemy"
I frowned deeply at her words, but I didn't dare open my eyes and look at her, for fear I might tear her to pieces.
Does she not understand?
It's not as if I can't distinguish reality, but this scum kept talking even though I ordered her to get lost and get out.
"Your Highness, I am Sarah, your personal healer. Please calm down, it's all over… Your Highness is home now… Your loyal knights have done their duty, Your Highness…"
"Shut up."
With every word she uttered, my scowl deepened and my breathing grew heavier. Does she take my orders lightly? Since when are the commands of the Crown Prince of the Empire ignored?
And what is this? Who does she think she is, speaking to me so casually?
Should I kill her? My frustration and anger have reached boiling point.
I suppressed my urge to kill her by force, yet the memories of the records and the possibilities still dance in my head should I kill her,
Let's calm down… but
the more I suppressed my anger, the more my frustration grew
"Your Highness…"
"Shut up"
I shouted at her, damn her. Is she a spy? Has she had enough of her life?
"Get out of here, didn't I order you? Get out."
"Your Highness, please calm down…"
"GET OUT… NOW…"
My voice boomed like a roar as I unleashed small part of the Kill intent I had barely been holding back, and she fell to the ground, struggling to breathe.
That bitch…
Should I kill her and be done with it? Why doesn't she understand? No, is this a conspiracy?
Is she pushing me to kill her?
"Get out…"
I forced myself to suppress the urge to kill and ordered her as calm a voice as I could manage, though my voice and my whole body were trembling with rage and frustration
I want to kill her.
Let's calm down...
Let's calm down.
