Chapter 65 - Trap Inside the Mansion

Seeing Om suddenly standing inside their house, Mr. and Mrs. Kathwani were completely shocked. They hadn't seen him enter, hadn't heard a single sound. Even the servants hadn't informed them about his arrival, and there was no sound of the door opening either.

"Arre, Om dear… you… you're here?"

Dilip Kathwani quickly adjusted himself and spoke with forced warmth as he stood up.

"Go, bring some water for him," he said to his wife.

"Y-yes… I'll bring it right away," she replied.

Even though she was standing right next to her husband, Om noticed something strange—her reaction was delayed, almost like she was physically present, but mentally somewhere else.

"Come, Om dear… tell me, what brings you here?"

Dilip said, gesturing toward the sofa.

Om quietly observed everything—their faces, their body language, the silence in the room. Then, in a calm tone, he said,

"Hello, uncle. Sorry to disturb you. Actually, I've been trying to contact Abhay and Supriya for a while now, but I haven't been able to reach them. So I thought I'd come here and talk to them directly… and meet you as well."

Dilip forced a faint smile and nodded.

Om didn't miss it.

Not even for a second.

"Uh… uncle, could you please call Abhay and Supriya?" Om continued casually. "We were planning something—like a camping trip or something. It's been a long time since we met, so… I need to talk to them."

"O..Om… actually…"

Dilip's voice started shaking. Sweat began forming on his forehead. He didn't know what to say.

Om had already understood.

Something was wrong.

Very wrong.

And the way Dilip was struggling to respond—it confirmed it.

Before he could say anything more—

Mrs. Kathwani quickly stepped in, holding a glass of water, her voice slightly panicked,

"They… they've gone out of the city for some work."

Om looked at her.

Then at Dilip.

The answers didn't match.

He caught the lie instantly.

Dilip was about to say something else, but she had interrupted with a completely different answer.

That was enough.

Om quietly focused… reading their thoughts, understanding what they weren't able to say.

Something had happened.

Something serious.

And whatever it was—they were too afraid to even ask for help.

"Oh… so they've gone out on a trip?"

Om said, pretending to be disappointed.

"Yes, yes… that's why they're out," Mrs. Kathwani quickly agreed.

Om didn't let it slide.

"But aunty… you just said they went out for work. And now you're saying they went for a trip?"

She froze.

"I… I…"

She couldn't complete her sentence.

Om stepped closer to Dilip, his voice now serious.

"Uncle… I know something has happened. Your faces say everything. You both look exhausted… broken. I feel like your children are in danger, and I don't want to waste time on excuses."

He paused, then said firmly,

"Please… give me a chance to help you. Tell me—where are my friends?"

The moment those words left his mouth—

Dilip broke.

He collapsed onto the sofa and burst into tears.

Seeing him like that, his wife also broke down, holding him as she cried.

"What can I do, Om…?" Dilip said between sobs. "What has happened… is what happens to families like ours."

He struggled to speak, but forced himself,

"The moment I took a stand against the Singhanias… they made their move. They turned my own sister and her husband against me. Every branch of my company… they were partners in all of them. And because my sister is older than me… she holds authority in the family."

His voice cracked.

"She took everything away from me. All my resources… everything. And then—she took my children too."

Om's expression hardened.

"They've taken Abhay and Supriya to our ancestral house. And now… they're forcing them into marriage."

Silence filled the room.

"I'm a father who can't even protect his own children…" Dilip said, lowering his head. "I can't ask anyone for help… and I can't fight against my own sister. I can't even give this poor mother any hope… that she'll see her children again."

His wife cried harder beside him.

"For the past two days… she hasn't eaten anything… hasn't even had water. She just cries all day for her children. I have such a big name… such a big status… and yet… I can't save my own kids…"

The room felt heavy.

Broken.

A once happy family… now completely shattered.

Om stood there, watching everything—

And then, with calm determination, he said,

"Uncle… I will bring them back."

Dilip slowly looked up.

"I will bring them back to you… and I will make sure they get their freedom."

There was no hesitation in his voice.

No doubt.

"Just tell me one thing…" Om said, his eyes sharp now,

"Where will I find Abhay and Supriya?"

Dilip told Om everything about their ancestral house and warned him clearly—his sister was a very dangerous woman. But Om didn't waste a second. He left immediately.

His car sped toward the silent mountains, cutting through long stretches of forest. Hidden deep within those dense woods stood the grand Kathwani mansion.

And that's where Om was headed.

Inside that luxurious mansion—

Dilip's sister, Rekha, was sitting at the dining table with her husband, her children, Abhay, and Supriya. She looked old, but layers of heavy makeup tried to hide it. She was dressed in a greenish almond-colored party dress that reached her knees.

They were all waiting for someone.

Rekha turned toward Supriya, her eyes filled with anger.

"Listen, girl," she snapped. "I don't want to hear a single word from you today. The boy I've called to meet you is the son of a very big businessman, understand? So just sit quietly… and use your charm to trap him. The rest, I'll handle."

Her tone turned colder, sharper.

"And remember—if you try anything smart, I'll turn your father's life into hell… yours too."

Supriya sat there silently, fear written all over her face.

Just then, a maid came in and informed Rekha that Raj Agarwal—the younger son of the Agarwal family—had arrived.

Rekha nodded.

A few moments later, a man around twenty-five walked into the dining hall wearing a black suit. After a bit of fake conversation and flattery, Rekha smiled and introduced Supriya.

"Raj… meet her. She's my niece, Supriya."

Raj looked decent at first glance—

But there was something wrong about him.

Something dark.

As soon as he saw Supriya sitting there in her beautiful brown floral dress, his intentions became clear. His eyes lingered longer than they should have.

For him, girls weren't people.

They were things.

Things he could buy, control, and use however he wanted. He had done it before—and now, his attention was locked onto Supriya.

Smiling shamelessly, he said,

"Aunty… wow. Your niece is truly beautiful. Like an angel."

Rekha smiled, satisfied.

Her plan was falling perfectly into place.

Because the truth was—

Rekha was secretly working with the Singhanias.

Together, they had slowly taken control of Dilip's property, piece by piece. And now, their final goal was simple—destroy the Kathwani family and take everything they owned.

This forced marriage?

It was just another move.

Rekha knew exactly what kind of man Raj was.

But she didn't care.

Not even a little.

As long as it helped her win.

The conversation was still going on—

When suddenly—

A voice echoed through the hall.

"Supriya… Abhay… I'm here to take you home. Your parents are waiting for you."

Everything stopped.

Every head turned.

And there he was.

Om stood at the entrance—calm, steady… unshaken.

Like he belonged there.

The moment Supriya and Abhay saw him—

Their faces lit up.

Hope returned.

Tears filled Supriya's eyes as she stood up, her voice trembling,

"Om… you're here?"

The moment Rekha heard his name—

Her face burned with anger.

"Sit down!" she shouted.

Startled, Supriya immediately sat back down.

Rekha stood up, glaring at Om.

"So you're Om," she said coldly. "I've heard a lot about you. But listen carefully—stay away from my niece and her brother. Otherwise, things won't end well for you. The way you came here quietly… leave the same way."

But Om didn't even look at her.

Not once.

His eyes were fixed only on Abhay and Supriya.

"Abhay… Supriya…" he said calmly, "this is your life. You don't need to be afraid of people like them. If you want to live your life your way… then stand up for it."

His voice grew stronger.

"Your parents never stopped you from following your dreams. So who are they to control you? And I'm here with you… so what are you afraid of?"

Something changed in the air.

For the first time—

Courage flickered in their eyes.

Just then, Raj stood up and walked toward Rekha, looking at Om with irritation.

"Aunty, should I handle this guy?" he said with a mocking smile.

Rekha smirked proudly.

"No, son. My son is more than enough for him."

She glanced at her son.

And immediately, he stood up, full of arrogance, and walked toward Om.

"Hey!" he shouted. "Go jump somewhere else, you clown. What do you think you are? Some kind of hero? You walk into someone's house, give a speech, and think you'll walk out like nothing happened? This isn't a movie, got it?"

Rekha watched with satisfaction, already imagining the reward she would get from the Singhanias.

She had heard about Om.

But she had no idea who he really was.

And that mistake—

Was about to cost her.

Her son stepped closer, raising his fist.

And with full force—

He swung a punch straight at Om.
