Chapter 175 - The Man in Black

Viraj let out a slow breath before speaking.

"Back in her college days, my sister fell in love with a guy. They got really close, and things had almost reached marriage… but before the engagement, she slowly realized that the guy was more interested in our money than her."

Om listened silently.

"Little by little, they started fighting. Arguments about money… about our family business shares… all of it started becoming a problem. Then my sister clearly told him one thing — she's a modern woman, and she knows how to run a business."

Viraj smiled faintly with pride while talking about her.

"She told him that even after marriage, the business would stay under her name, and they would grow it together. But hearing that made the guy furious. He started saying things like, 'Girls don't work after marriage. Your job is to stay home, have children, and handle the house. Women can't run businesses. I'll handle your company and your family shares. I'm giving you a comfortable life, and you still care about working?'"

Viraj's expression darkened.

"When my sister finally realized his true intentions… she literally threw him out of her life. And after that, she started hating all men."

For a moment, he stayed quiet.

"Honestly… somewhere, I understand her anger. Even in our family, women usually aren't encouraged to enter business seriously. My sister is different. She fought against Grandpa himself to build her empire. If you ask me… she's actually more capable than I am."

Then he looked at Om seriously.

"But after seeing men trying to control women everywhere… she slowly started despising men completely. That's why she behaves like this. But trust me, Om… as hard as she looks from the outside, she's equally soft inside."

Hearing all this, Om fell deep into thought.

By then, both of them had already reached their rooms.

"Alright then, Mr. Om. We'll talk later. You should rest for now."

Om nodded quietly.

He unlocked his room using the keycard and walked inside.

The luxurious room looked almost unreal, but instead of enjoying it, Om sat silently on the edge of the bed and sighed deeply.

"This world really treats women unfairly…"

After some time, Om went to freshen up and took a cold shower.

By the time he came out, evening had already fallen.

Without wasting another second, Om climbed onto the bed, sat in a lotus position, folded his hands into a meditation pose, and slowly closed his eyes.

The room became completely silent.

A few moments later…

Om suddenly sensed something.

Someone had entered the room through the window.

But strangely, Om didn't react immediately.

He kept sitting there with his eyes closed, calm and unmoving.

A few more seconds passed.

No sound.

No movement.

Then suddenly, a voice echoed through the room.

"So… how long are you planning to sit like that? I know you already sensed that I'm here."

The moment he heard the voice, Om instantly opened his eyes.

He turned toward the window—

A man dressed completely in black was sitting there casually, wearing a mask over his face while swinging one leg lazily outside the window.

Sharp eyes.

Dangerously calm presence.

Even after seeing him, Om remained composed.

Meanwhile, the man glanced around the luxurious room and whistled softly.

"Nice room. Looks like you've got plenty of money in your pocket. Good for you."

Om stared at him seriously.

"Can I know who you are?"

The masked man laughed lightly.

"Wow… you're not scared at all. Either you're very brave… or you're hiding your fear behind that calm face of yours. Tell me honestly, aren't you scared?"

Om smiled faintly.

"No. Because if you were actually dangerous… instead of sitting peacefully in this beautiful room, both of us would already be fighting right now."

For a second, silence filled the room.

Then the masked man burst into laughter.

"Wow… very impressive."

Om looked at him without expression.

"Now will you tell me why you're here? And maybe introduce yourself too?"

The man scanned Om from head to toe carefully.

Then suddenly, he pulled out an envelope and tossed it toward him.

"I think this will be useful to you. That's the only reason I came here."

Then he smirked beneath the mask.

"And yeah… you look interesting. But there's no need for you to know about me."

Ignoring his words, Om immediately opened the envelope.

But before he could fully read it, the masked man suddenly said,

"We'll meet again."

Om quickly looked up—

But the man was gone.

Completely vanished.

Om instantly rushed toward the window and looked down.

His eyes widened.

The masked man had already reached the ground floor.

From the tenth floor.

And now he was standing below, staring directly up at Om.

For a moment, Om couldn't understand what he had just witnessed.

How did he jump down that fast?

Who was he?

Then Om quickly looked back at the paper inside the envelope and started reading.

The moment his eyes landed on the words written there…

His expression changed completely.

Shock.

Real shock.

Without wasting another second, he looked back down at the masked man.

Standing below, the man slowly stretched out his hand and gestured for Om to come down.

And then—

Om jumped.

Straight from the tenth floor.

The people outside screamed in shock as they saw someone leap from the hotel building.

But the way Om descended was even stranger.

One of his hands was pressed against the glass wall of the building, and golden light had started glowing around his palm. The same golden energy appeared beneath his feet as he slid downward with impossible speed.

Everyone around froze in fear and disbelief.

Within seconds, Om landed safely on the ground.

People nearby immediately backed away from him in panic.

Meanwhile, the masked man had already climbed onto a bike.

He looked at Om one last time, waved casually… and sped away.

Om instinctively thought about chasing him—

But suddenly stopped himself.

Breathing heavily, frustrated, confused.

Just then, someone placed a hand on his shoulder.

Om turned around.

Sanaya was standing there.

Her eyes were wide open in complete disbelief.

Because just like everyone else…

She had seen Om jump from the tenth floor.

Om looked at her in confusion, but Sanaya silently placed a bike key into his hand while still staring at him like she had seen a ghost.

Then, pointing toward a powerful superbike parked outside the hotel entrance, she stammered,

"Y-your… bike…"

The moment Om saw the bike, his mood instantly shifted.

Without wasting a second, he grabbed the key, started the engine, and the loud roar of the superbike echoed across the street.

He quickly wore the helmet and sped off in the same direction the masked man had gone.

Meanwhile, Sanaya stood there completely frozen.

But more than Om's sudden rush…

One thought kept echoing inside her head.

She slowly looked up toward the tenth floor of the hotel again and whispered in shock,

"But… how?"
