"First, regarding the company shares," lawyer began, his voice calm and professional. "Twenty-eight percent of the shares have been placed under the name of Jacob Wilson."
Jacob's expression changed immediately.
The tension in his face disappeared, replaced by an unmistakable smile. He leaned back slightly, looking almost satisfied with himself. His shoulders relaxed and a faint, triumphant gleam appeared in his eyes.
The lawyer continued.
"Eighteen percent have been placed under the name of Roman Wilson."
Roman's eyes brightened. A slow, calculating smile spread across his lips. He didn't say anything but the satisfaction in his expression was impossible to miss.
"And another eighteen percent have been placed under the name of Ashton Wilson."
Ashton, who had been nervously tapping his finger against the table, immediately stopped. A wide smile slowly appeared on his face. He let out a quiet breath he hadn't realized he had been holding.
