Chapter 548 - Snap Back to Reality

"Eh?" Naruto said, looking around wildly. "Why'd everything go dark all of a sudden, ya know?"

Sakura looked up at the scarlet moon shining ominously overhead amidst the twinkling stars of the night sky. The strain of maintaining the Limited Tsukuyomi with her own powers had exceeded her capabilities, so she had been forced to let go of the dream, midway through Minato repeating the secret passphrase back to her.

"Eh?" Naruto blurted out as she tore past him. "What are you doing, Sakura-chan?"

Ignoring Naruto, Sakura ran through the children's park and jumped into the sandpit, and she began writing ones and zeroes in the sand with a fallen tree branch. She had to transcribe the secret incantation before she forgot it!

"01000101 01000011…" she muttered to herself.

Sakura had a good memory, but there was a limit to how much she could remember in such a short time. Ones and zeroes blurred together in her mind, and before she knew it, she had no idea what she was writing.

"Sakura-chan, you're growing!"

Her G-cup body from her Spiritual Plane self was merging with that of her J-cup self in the Physical Plane, thanks to the stimulation of the yin chakra resonance between her twin Kurama clan Kekkei Genkai physiques in both realms!

"Ooh~"

Sakura's mind went blank with pleasure as her breasts swelled, straining her chest bindings to their utmost limits. Her clothes creaked ominously as the round, teardrop-shaped mounds grew, the fabric around her nipples thinning so much that her stiff, pink nipples visibly peeked through.

While her chest grew, her hips drew inwards, narrowing slightly from their previously gigantic width. Her butt receded somewhat as well, no longer sticking out quite so much behind her, but on the whole, her lower half did not shrink half as much as her upper half had grown.

At very full, massive M-cups that hung down to her navel and peeked out from the sides of her torso, Sakura's chest dominated her slender figure, but to the perverted eye, her backside could no longer be ignored. Although her hips were no longer ridiculously enormous, going down from 150 cm to 120 cm around, they were still wide enough to be called childbearing; wide enough that, even with her new thicker thighs, she could still maintain the thigh gap she had cultivated from before this ordeal!

"System," Sakura groaned. "Show me my stats… and… please tell me you got a recording of Minato's rap…"

[Please hold, the System is currently processing the Host's status. Please know that the Host's query is important to the System.]

It looked as though the System was busy ensuring Sakura's head didn't explode from the dimensional merge, for which she was grateful, so she decided to leave it alone for now. Just in case, she continued writing the Box of Paradise's shutdown code in the sand.

"There she is!"

"Lady Hokage!"

Several masked ANBU Black Ops agents led by Kakashi-sensei flickered into the children's park. A handful remained to secure the playground, while the rest flickered away to conduct a sweep of the general vicinity.

"Everything's fine, we've located the Lady Sixth, call off the search," Kakashi spoke into his transceiver. "Where was she? Er…" he glanced at Sakura. "It looks as though she's playing in a sandpit… yes, for children. Hang on, I'll ask. Kakashi out."

Kakashi approached Naruto, who was looking over Sakura's shoulder as she drew.

"What happened, Naruto?" he asked. "You two were gone for thirty minutes, and then you just reappeared out of nowhere. If it hadn't been for the Hokage Guard Platoon radioing for help, we'd never have known you'd been attacked… also, what in the world happened to Sakura's body!?"

"Eh?" Naruto blurted out. "But that's not possible, we were in there for days!"

Sakura sighed.

It was no good, she couldn't remember anything past the first thirty-two digits. Everything thereafter was guesswork, and thus, completely useless. She'd just have to wait for her stupid System to stop bugging out and ask it then.

"We were isekaied by Uchiha Madara," Sakura explained, dusting her knees as she straightened her body. "Or should I say… Uchiha Obito."

There was no point hiding it any longer. She had mindlessly blurted out his name in her innocent form in the Limited Tsukuyomi, so she might as well extract as much value as she could from knowing his true identity.

"I saw his true face underneath his mask," Sakura lied. "He looks exactly like the boy from that picture Kakashi-sensei's always sneaking peeks at when he thinks no one is looking… I looked into it and found out his name."

That would certainly explain the similarity between their ocular powers, Kakashi realised. Both of them used the same space-time ninjutsu with their Mangekyō Sharingan, just in slightly different ways… like two sides of the same ryō coin.

"Obito's dead," Kakashi said firmly. "Furthermore, he's not the kind of person who would turn against the village, his dream was to become Hokage, just like Naruto here. He even gave me his eye before he died…"

Kakashi subconsciously adjusted the forehead protector concealing his Sharingan. Just like Sakura could never imagine Naruto going to the dark side, so could Kakashi never picture Obito becoming a vicious terrorist.

"Right, exactly," Sakura said insistently. "The masked man calling himself Madara only has one mask hole for his eyes, right? His right eye… and remind us, which eye did Obito give you, again?"

Kakashi fell silent.

"Lady Sakura…" he began.

"Don't call me that, Kakashi-sensei," Sakura said, wrinkling her nose. "It doesn't feel right."

Kakashi bowed his head slightly.

"I'm sorry, it's nothing," he said somewhat stiffly. "I'll have the Barrier Team remove Obito's chakra signature from their register, just in case. Good night, Milady."

And with those words, Kakashi flickered away.

"Good night, Milady," Naruto said very seriously, imitating Kakashi's demeanour.

"Not you too…" Sakura groaned. "Well, good night to you too…"

As much as Sakura was dying to bring him home to ride all night and soothe the aching void down there, this was scarcely the time for a tussle under the bedsheets. Although it felt as though an eternity had passed since Tsunade's death, what with Pain's invasion, the Hokage election, her meeting with Shikaku, and her adventures in the Limited Tsukuyomi… only a single day had gone by.

Tomorrow, the war began in earnest.
