Chapter 757: Little Tricks Under the Blanket
The same type of blanket was now draped over Shiyali's legs.
Wu Heng raised an eyebrow, carefully glancing at her blank expression.
As he hesitated—
Sheila Grey felt him suddenly stop his movements. Uneasy, she shifted and gently nudged his legs, signaling him to continue.
Wu Heng kept coaxing Sheila Grey while casting another glance at Shiyali.
Honestly, he could tell Shiyali had some feelings for him.
But was this blanket because the air conditioning was too cold, or had she noticed the little tricks between him and Sheila Grey and was sending a signal?
He suspected the second but didn't want to overthink it.
As he pondered, he suddenly felt a smooth, slightly cool hand slip into his palm, softly scratching it.
He turned to look and saw Shiyali smiling with a mischievous, teasing grin.
Wu Heng held her hand but didn't pull away. Shiyali exhaled in relief, her smile deepening.
Then Shiyali pulled his hand under her blanket and placed it on her thigh.
Though the sisters looked alike, their body shapes differed.
Sheila Grey had rounder thighs, while Shiyali's were long and straight.
Even through her pants, they felt supple and firm.
Wu Heng rested his hand there for a moment, then began sliding it toward her flat abdomen and further down, just like with Sheila Grey.
Feeling his hand suddenly moving down, Shiyali tensed and clamped her legs together tightly, eyes filled with panic.
She glanced at her sister's side and looked even more shocked.
Wu Heng was startled too—he'd gone too far.
Shiyali glared at him, her face flushed red, and pinched his hand hard before placing it back on her leg.
Wu Heng smiled awkwardly.
This works too—one step at a time.
......
The movie ended.
The lights in the room came back on.
The maids chattered, wanting to play games.
The elf sisters, both blushing and guilty, quickly folded their blankets.
"Steward Sheila Grey, Assistant Shiyali, stay and play some games! I'll teach you—it's easy," Robe chimed in.
Sheila Grey glanced out the window. "It's too late. Next time."
"You could just stay here for the night—plenty of rooms," Wu Heng suggested.
Sheila Grey snapped, "If people find out the steward stayed at the Island Lord's place, imagine the gossip."
"I'll teleport you back in the morning—no one will know," Wu Heng said.
"No way. My sister's still here. Maybe next time," Sheila Grey said firmly.
Shiyali stood to the side with her arms crossed, silently watching the conversation.
Seeing they were determined to leave, Wu Heng didn't press further.
They lived on the island anyway—he'd see them every day. No need to force them.
He walked the sisters to the door and arranged for a skeleton escort to send them home.
Wu Heng returned with the maids.
The maids went to play games, while Wu Heng did a quick wash and went straight to bed.
......
Lying in bed—
His mind wandered back to what just happened.
If Shiyali's boldness last time was just from drinking too much—
This time, though she drank a bit, she was still within control.
Clearly, it showed her intentions.
This elf sister had taken a liking to him too.
And she was gutsy.
His relationship with Sheila Grey had started from teamwork.
Built on trust, it had slowly turned into something romantic.
When had Shiyali started noticing him?
Hopefully she didn't have some weird kink!
Still, Wu Heng was secretly happy that Shiyali liked him.
Who wouldn't want a pair of gorgeous elf sisters?
But whether Sheila Grey would accept him going after her sister, too—that was uncertain.
"Chances of Sheila Grey being okay with it? Pretty slim."
"Ugh! Just reject Shiyali. Why'd I go feeling her up..."
......
At the Steward's residence—
Sheila Grey soaked in the tub, letting out a deep sigh.
That mead had a kick, and the movie left her flustered and unsatisfied.
So annoying.
Creak\~!
The bathroom door opened. Shiyali stepped in, wrapped in a white towel.
Through the mist, Sheila Grey glanced at her and grumbled, "Took you long enough."
She scooted forward in the tub, letting Shiyali sit behind her and lean into her.
They'd grown up together and were always close.
As the elder sister, Shiyali had followed her to Gold-Silver Island. Even after dying once on the island, she stayed—helping with paperwork, cooking, cleaning. A completely dependable big sister.
Sheila Grey cared deeply about her sister. Everything they had now, they had fought for—risked their lives for.
Hugging her little sister, Shiyali whispered, "So soft. No wonder Wu Heng likes touching you."
Sheila Grey swatted her hand. "What nonsense are you spouting."
Shiyali leaned in close. "You two were so handsy during the movie—I'm not blind."
Sheila Grey trembled. "W-what handsiness?"
"The stuff under the blanket."
Sheila Grey's face and body visibly reddened. She tried to deflect, "It was just hand-holding! You wouldn't know—you've never had a man."
Shiyali chuckled, wrapping her arms around her sister's waist. "I never said anything. Why are you so nervous?"
"I'm not nervous."
Shiyali leaned in more. "Come on, tell your big sis—what else did you two do besides holding hands?"
"Why the hell do you wanna know? Are you sick?"
"Don't keep secrets from your big sister! I'll keep it confidential."
Sheila Grey huffed, "That line's for tricking kids."
"So, are you telling me or not?"
"Ugh, fine, so he touched me a little." Sheila Grey admitted in frustration.
"Touched where?"
"You're crossing the line, Shiyali."
......
Next morning, Wu Heng came downstairs.
Robe trotted over, cheerfully bringing bowls and chopsticks. "Master, breakfast is ready."
Wu Heng ruffled her adorable head, making Robe giggle.
The other maids also walked over.
They all sat at the dining table and began eating.
While eating, Andviel said, "Master, the nobles attending the auction should be arriving soon. I'd like to discuss with the Guild about enhancing island and route security."
"You and Sheila Grey handle it. Deploy all the island's skeletons," Wu Heng instructed.
Andviel nodded. "Alright. Once I'm at City Hall, I'll call the steward and get this arranged."
Wu Heng added, "If any ships from the Guild headquarters dock, make sure I'm notified."
He'd written to HQ, but no reply had come.
No idea if any heroes would show up.
Whether they did or not didn't matter—keeping contact was the main thing.
At critical moments, they might speak on his behalf.
"Understood," Andviel replied.
They chatted a bit more and finished breakfast.
Andviel and Annette headed out to City Hall. Minnie and Robe cleaned up and got ready for daily training.
Life for the maids at the Island Lord's place wasn't bad.
No heavy labor. The most tiring thing was training.
Comfort-wise: air conditioning, private rooms, same food as Wu Heng.
As Philipa put it, this was how princesses and queens lived.
With the maids busy—
Wu Heng headed upstairs back to his study.
Once inside, he summoned his three ghosts and went to the Zombie World.
......
He stepped through the portal and looked outside.
Nothing had changed. The streets and open spaces were still packed with skeleton troops.
He released the ghosts and went to check on the Corpse King.
The Corpse King was still tightly bound. The glare it shot at him was just as vicious and spiteful.
Like a caged beast, waiting for revenge.
"Bring him along," Wu Heng ordered, then left the room.
The skeletons dragged the Corpse King, following behind to the truck.
"Load him in the bed," Wu Heng instructed.
Sensing he was being taken away, the Corpse King struggled wildly.
Countless spears stabbed down, and only then did he stop struggling and begin convulsing in pain, tossed into the back of the truck.
"Heading back to base?" Glenda asked.
"No more Zombies here. Let's return and find a new spot, then help Benny level up," Wu Heng replied.
"Thanks, everyone," Benny said with a smile.
Xiaoxiao said, "No need for thanks—we're ghosts, we don't feel tired."
Wu Heng reminded her, "Xiaoxiao, I'm still alive, you know."
