Chapter 730: The Nine Earth Sovereigns, The Master of the Cave Mansion

Over the vast lightning sea, thunderous waves surged endlessly—yet not a single sound of water could be heard. Each rolling surge of lightning crushed the very fabric of space in its wake.

Mo Yu gazed ahead into the boundless depths of the thunder sea before exchanging a look with the Feng Emperor. In the next instant, the two of them shot forward.

"I can feel it," Mo Yu murmured softly. "We're close to what we came for."

They sped across the skies for a long stretch, but as they ventured deeper, Mo Yu gradually noticed the oppressive pressure in the air growing more intense. Even so, neither he nor the Feng Emperor seemed much affected. After nearly fifteen minutes of flight, they slowed and came to a stop.

Mo Yu lifted his head, and his eyes narrowed slightly. Deep in the distance, far across the endless sea of lightning, a colossal structure floated in midair.

It was an ancient grand hall, massive beyond measure, its surface shrouded in primal, archaic energy. Beneath it, enormous pillars of lightning—each as wide as a mountain—descended from the hall, crashing endlessly into the thunder sea below.

The magnificent sight made it appear as though the entire boundless sea had been formed from those very lightning pillars flowing down from the mysterious hall itself.

The floating colossus radiated an unshakable presence—a sense of power that refused to bow to heaven or earth.

"This hall… must be what remains of the fallen master of this cave mansion," the Feng Emperor said, his bright eyes reflecting awe.

Even a lower Earth Sovereign would feel reverence before such a being.

"Mo Yu, should we make our move?" The Feng Emperor turned toward his young companion. Even one as composed as he couldn't quite suppress his excitement.

Yet, he knew that Mo Yu's strength far surpassed his own, and thus all decisions lay in Mo Yu's hands.

Mo Yu smiled faintly. His silver eyes glimmered as he gazed off toward another direction on the thunder sea. "Let's wait. This place won't be so easily claimed—and we're far from alone here."

The Feng Emperor's brows furrowed slightly. He turned his head, scanning the surrounding void.

"Hehe, truly impressive, Lord Mo Yu. To think you arrived here before the rest of us—you've earned my admiration."

A voice rolled across the heavens, deep and booming, its echo alone stirring great waves within the lightning sea below.

Mo Yu glanced toward the direction of the sound. The space rippled violently before tearing open like paper. From within surged groups of figures, each radiating powerful aura that instantly stirred the spiritual energy of the entire region.

"It's the forces of the Asura Gate," the Feng Emperor said with a frown.

Mo Yu's gaze swept over the group until it landed on Zhong Cang, master of the Asura Gate, leading his army.

"The Asura Gate's master moves quickly," Mo Yu said lightly. "It seems the Feng Emperor's hidden treasure was never his true goal."

Indeed, the supposed treasure had been a mere distraction. This—this place—was what Zhong Cang and the others were truly seeking.

"Well, we could say the same of you, Lord Mo Yu. You're no native of the Bloodrock Realm, yet you've come all this way—surely not without reason," Zhong Cang said with a smile, his eyes gleaming with fervent desire as they turned to the enormous hall.

After a moment, his eyes flicked toward the Feng Emperor, curiosity flashing in them. "And this elder beside you would be…?"

There was a vague sense of menace in the old man's presence. Zhong Cang's expression hardened in rare seriousness.

Another Earth Sovereign.

Together with Mo Yu, that made two—and their combined might was enough to rival his own entire faction.

"Hehe, the old man's surname is Qing," the Feng Emperor said calmly. "As for my full name… it's long been unnecessary."

Since his past enemies on the Tianluo Continent still lived, anonymity was the safer choice.

"Elder Qing, then," Zhong Cang murmured, brows furrowed slightly as he mentally reviewed the list of known Sovereigns. Finding no match, his eyes narrowed further.

Mysterious origins. Unfathomable strength. Perhaps these two came from an even mightier world?

Returning his focus to Mo Yu, Zhong Cang clasped his hands behind his back and said, "Lord Mo Yu, as you're an outsider, you may not know the power structure of our realm. The treasure here has drawn many forces. You are a dragon crossing the river—I am the local serpent. What say you—we form an alliance once we enter the hall?"

Though Mo Yu and the Feng Emperor had no powerful faction behind them, two Earth Sovereigns alone made them as daunting as the Asura Gate itself. A temporary alliance could yield tremendous benefits.

However, Mo Yu only chuckled quietly. "Your offer is generous, but I'll pass. Let's each rely on our own ability."

He had no reason to trust such a calculating man.

"A pity," Zhong Cang sighed. He said no more, his eyes dark and still.

The two groups hovered apart, silent yet brimming with tension. The air itself seemed to vibrate under the oppressive standoff between them.

But the tension did not last long.

From distant horizons came new waves of tearing space, followed by more streams of dazzling light streaking toward the grand hall. In a matter of moments, numerous powerful figures filled the skies above the thunder sea.

"Haha! My Barbarian Wilderness Sect rushed with all our might, yet we still came after you!" A bold, booming laugh thundered across the heavens, full of wild energy. The sheer sound stirred the world into a frenzy of battle intent.

Mo Yu looked northwest. Dozens of massive figures were approaching—led by a towering, bare‑chested man whose body rippled with power like a living beast.

So this was the master of the Barbarian Wilderness Sect—a powerhouse of the physical path, a rarity even in the Great Thousand World.

A voice followed from another direction. "Don't forget my Blood Shark Pavilion when dividing the spoils!"

A middle‑aged man radiating a sharp, crimson aura like a bloodthirsty shark appeared, another Earth Sovereign among the new arrivals.

From the northeast came a gathering of mighty lights, led by an elderly man in a yin‑yang robe holding a white jade sword.

To the west, crimson fog unfurled. A burly figure in red armor appeared, his body wreathed in demonic aura—an Earth Sovereign of the beast clans.

One by one, they arrived.

Nine Earth Sovereigns in total now hovered over the sea—the apex powers of the Bloodrock Realm, converging upon the ancient floating hall. Mo Yu's brows lifted slightly. Rarely had this realm seen so many of its rulers gathered in one place.

The air trembled under their combined presence. The nine Sovereigns stood silently, each radiating a quiet, overwhelming pressure that even the surrounding elites dared not approach.

"Hehe, these two seem unfamiliar," the old man in the yin‑yang robe said with a faint smile, glancing toward Mo Yu and the Feng Emperor. "Who might they be?"

Even he could tell that the strangers were Earth Sovereigns.

With those words, every other Sovereign—save for Zhong Cang—turned their gazes toward the pair. Their faces carried a spectrum of curiosity, caution, and faint hostility.

Mo Yu smiled calmly. "My name is Mo Yu, and this here is Elder Qing. We're not of the Tianluo Continent. Passing travelers, nothing more."

"Ah, so you come from beyond. No wonder," the old man replied with an amiable smile. "I am Feng Yuanzi, master of the Dao Palace of the Bloodrock Realm. Allow me to welcome you."

He even courteously introduced the other Sovereigns and their factions. Mo Yu thanked him lightly but kept his guard raised. Both he and the Feng Emperor sensed clear distrust and underlying tension—they were outsiders, after all.

Though the Bloodrock Realm's powers eyed them cautiously, none dared act rashly. Two unattached Earth Sovereigns were not to be underestimated.

"Enough idle talk," rumbled the Barbarian Sect's master impatiently, waving his hand. "We all came for the Divine Spirit Fluid. Let's break this damned barrier first!"

As his roar echoed, a ferocious tide of power surged from him. It condensed into a massive, roaring thunder tiger, thousands of feet long, that plunged toward the ancient hall.

The beast's pure, raw force shattered space itself as it descended upon the hall, ripping open the thunder sea below.

Boom!

The impact fell like divine punishment, shaking the heavens themselves—yet the ancient hall remained completely unmoved.

At that instant, arcs of lightning laced through the air above the hall, forming a vast grid of light that solidified into a shining barrier enveloping the structure entirely.

Crash!

The energy tiger slammed into it, releasing majestic shockwaves that erupted over miles of space. When the explosion faded, the barrier remained pristine—unshaken.

"So, the defenses are formidable," murmured Feng Yuanzi of the Dao Palace.

Zhong Cang's eyes gleamed. "If all of us desire the treasure, then let's act together."

The nine Earth Sovereigns exchanged glances, each nodding slightly. None wished to become the first target by moving alone.

As one, they rose into the air, surrounding the great hall from all sides.

Vast energy welled behind each figure—nine radiant suns blazing into existence across the sky. The power of combined Sovereigns was unimaginable.

Boom!

Without hesitation, all nine struck at once.

Crack!

Nine torrents of spiritual power burst forth, tearing space apart with their sweep, surging across the air like nine enraged dragons and crashing down upon the lightning barrier.

For a heartbeat, silence consumed the world. Then—the heavens detonated.

Shockwaves of annihilation swept outward, lifting colossal waves from the thunder sea and fracturing the void itself.

Yet, as the dust of energy slowly cleared, the nine stared in stunned disbelief. The barrier shimmered briefly—then condensed into a single, glowing silver‑robed figure standing silently above the hall.

Seeing it, Zhong Cang's pupils contracted violently, his voice barely audible.

"The… the master of the cave mansion?!"
