Chapter 726: The Secret Realm Opens, a Strange Sensation

"Feng Emperor's Hidden Treasure…"

Hearing this, Mo Yu's expression stiffened for an instant before a faint, bitter smile crossed his face. "What a coincidence…"

He had originally set out to find the Feng Emperor's corpse to aid in his resurrection, only to discover that someone had already beaten him to it and uncovered the so‑called "Feng Emperor's Hidden Treasure." Truly, fate had a way of turning coincidence into inevitability.

"Do you know which forces are heading toward the Feng Emperor's Hidden Treasure?" Mo Yu narrowed his eyes slightly and turned to the traveler who had brought the news.

A secret treasure of a Lower Earth Sovereign held great allure for any first‑rate power. With such unexpected developments, this affair would not end easily.

"As far as I know," the traveler replied respectfully, "top factions in our Bloodrock Realm, such as the Barbarian Wild Sect, the Asura Gate, and the Blood Shark Tower, have already dispatched experts to explore that hidden treasure.

Even several powerful forces from neighboring realms have caught wind of it and sent their elites."

"Oh, so many forces have come…" Mo Yu was momentarily stunned. Waving his hand to dismiss the traveler, he looked somewhat grim.

What had seemed a simple matter had now become a whirlpool of intrigue surrounding a secret treasure.

"Sigh, even I did not expect that after so many years, the tomb I casually set up back then would turn into what they now call a Lower Earth Sovereign's Hidden Treasure, attracting countless strong ones," the Feng Emperor's sigh echoed softly in Mo Yu's mind.

Back in those days, grievously wounded and on the verge of death, he had buried himself in a secret tomb he placed in the Bloodrock Realm of the northern regions of the Tianluo Continent. Within it lay some divine artifacts, mystic arts, and sovereign spirit liquid, but no true inheritance.

Who would have thought that, after so many years, that tomb would be swarmed over by the major powers? Truly, fate loves its ironies.

"Don't worry, Senior Feng Emperor. The ones coming are top‑tier powers from the northern realms, but the true overlord forces have not taken part. That means we still have plenty of opportunities." Mo Yu's gaze gleamed.

The top powers of the northern realms were formidable, but most were guarded by no more than one Lower Earth Sovereign. They posed little threat to Mo Yu.

"Thank you, Mo Yu," said the Feng Emperor with relief.

"Hehe, no need for thanks. It's what I should do."

As his words fell, Mo Yu leapt into the air and sped toward the Feng Emperor's Hidden Treasure.

The Storm Mountain Range lay in the southwestern interior of the Bloodrock Realm, where countless tempests endlessly roared through the overlapping peaks.

These storms, as if born of heaven and earth itself, carried terrifying power—power enough that even fifth‑ or sixth‑grade Sovereigns would suffer grievous injury, if not death, if caught within.

From afar, the place looked like a realm ravaged by endless gales. But only when nearing did one truly feel how ferocious and wild the wind's elemental energy was.

In normal times, few ventured here. Although many experts had perished in these mountains, few valuable relics were ever found. Thus most factions avoided it.

But today, this remote, desolate region was ablaze with commotion. The air of barrenness was swept away completely.

Whoosh! Whoosh!

The sound of wind being ripped apart filled the skies as streams of figures shot from every direction, descending into the sprawling mountain range below.

Deep within the range lay a vast, flat expanse spanning tens of thousands of feet. From above, it formed the impression of a giant palm print—clearly the remnant mark of some ultimate expert who once leveled this section with a single strike.

Now, factions from all sides descended from the heavens, taking up clearly divided positions along the edges of the massive imprint, each watching the others warily.

Many forces entered one after another, yet few spoke.

After all, those able to reach this place were seasoned powers; many held grudges from previous conflicts, tangled and complex as spiderwebs.

For some with blood feuds, the killing intent in their eyes flared as if they could tear each other apart on sight.

Among them, Mo Yu quietly concealed his aura, mixing into the crowd within the Storm Mountains.

This was the very place where the Feng Emperor had interred his own body. Yet somehow, this perilous and secluded site had been discovered, spreading rumors of the "Feng Emperor's Hidden Treasure" and drawing hordes of experts.

"Senior Feng Emperor, it seems you were quite famous back in your day," Mo Yu said wryly, observing the excited throngs.

"Hehe, after I luckily broke through to Earth Sovereign back then, my first stop was the Tianluo Continent. I did leave behind a few legends, I suppose. If not for offending the Desire King and crossing the Tianxuan Sect, I wouldn't have perished in this Bloodrock Realm," the Feng Emperor reminisced.

Mo Yu nodded. With the Feng Emperor's talent, even in the Great Thousand World he would have been outstanding. It was only the machinations of the Desire King that ended him prematurely. Seeing how his secret treasure now drew such attention was hardly surprising.

As all factions gathered in the storm range, sudden thunderous commotion erupted from its depths.

Soon after, dazzling bands of rainbow light surged forth, sweeping across the heavens with grand momentum before hovering high above.

All eyes turned skyward—and gasps of recognition followed. "That's the Asura Gate!"

Black clouds rolled above. They were, in fact, ranks of dark‑armored soldiers, ice‑cold killing intent radiating from them. The pressure was suffocating; even eighth‑grade Sovereigns felt a chill crawl up their spines.

At their forefront stood a middle‑aged man clad in heavy Asura armor. His face was cold and his blood‑red eyes glimmered with killing aura.

He was a ninth‑grade Sovereign.

Hovering in the air, his gaze swept over the many assembled factions before him. After a moment, he smiled faintly and said, his voice calm but thunderous:

"You have all gathered quite neatly. Since that's the case, why not show yourselves?"

His voice rolled across the land like thunderclaps, soundwaves tangible enough to ripple through the distant skies.

The gathered factions within the storm mountains were taken aback. Only a few first‑rate leaders sensed something and looked up with narrow eyes.

Moments later, the world began to tremble violently. A suffocating spiritual pressure poured forth, shaking the mountains themselves.

Boom! Boom!

Amid those shocks of energy, all parties looked up. From the distant horizon, differently colored torrents tore through the void, surging closer until clouds themselves seemed to churn in the heavens above.

Several grand armies appeared, their combined aura distorting space itself. The oppressive spiritual power immediately made the lesser factions grave and silent, inwardly lamenting the gulf between first‑rate and true top‑tier forces.

"Barbarian Wild Sect, Blood Shark Tower, Black Alliance, Ice Pavilion…"

"What a lineup. With the Asura Gate included, every top power in the Bloodrock Realm is here. This Feng Emperor's Hidden Treasure must be the real deal."

"Heh, let them fight. If these giants wear each other down, smaller factions like ours can take advantage. Those elites have hoarded the Bloodrock Realm's resources for far too long."

"Too bad. I heard that the Feng Emperor was a powerhouse who broke through the limits of the lower realms. If I could gain his inheritance, I'd surely make a name for myself. But with so many forces eyeing it now, the chances are slim."

"…"

As the behemoths stood in the sky, whispers rippled through the watching factions below. Their voices carried awe, greed, and cunning anticipation.

Clearly, the battle for the Feng Emperor's Hidden Treasure would be fierce.

Meanwhile, in the southwest skies, Mo Yu gazed toward a patch of hidden void. He could sense dangerously strong auras lurking there—each belonging to Earth Sovereigns.

Even if the Feng Emperor had been powerful in his day, he was only a Lower Earth Sovereign. His hidden treasure shouldn't have attracted so many of his peers. Something didn't add up.

"Could there be some deeper secret behind this?" Mo Yu wondered.

As he pondered, the top factions of the Bloodrock Realm finally moved, forcefully tearing apart the raging winds.

At once, a ray of light emerged from the heart of the storm, stretching rapidly until it formed a glowing path of swirling wind. At its distant end stood an ancient cave mansion.

Creak.

As the light path reached the cave, a massive stone gate thousands of feet high slowly began to open under a gentle breeze.

Countless fiery gazes fixed on the opening, breath quickening. From within spilled an ancient, primal aura that surged like a tide.

The legendary Feng Emperor's Hidden Treasure—had finally opened!

Boom!

The moment it did, countless eyes went bloodshot. The entire place erupted. Sonic booms filled the air as innumerable figures shot forward like locusts, plunging into the ancient passage and toward the opening stone gate.

Mo Yu was about to move when he heard the Feng Emperor's calm voice: "Wait."

Startled, Mo Yu halted mid‑step, turning an inquisitive look toward the gate.

Then he saw them—countless stormy figures had silently appeared before the gate, standing like statues. Each held a bow of gathering wind energy, arrows of whirling gales already nocked and gleaming.

Boom!

The army of storm figures loosed their strings. Space itself twisted as volleys of storm arrows rained down like a torrential deluge, imbued with devastating elemental power.

Bang!

Explosions shook the air as the storm arrows descended, distorting space and shattering air into chaos.

The sudden ambush caught all who had entered off guard. Instead of finding treasures, they were greeted by a deadly army of wind guardians.

"Watch out!"

Though the assault was abrupt, these intruders were strong. Screeches of power resounded as countless streams of spiritual energy erupted like volcanoes.

Swish! Swish!

The storm arrows poured down endlessly. Hundreds of experts wrapped in spiritual energy were instantly pierced through, their bodies torn apart by raging gales before bursting into bloody mist amid horrified cries.

Agonized screams echoed through the cavern.

Mo Yu watched the carnage and glanced toward the top Bloodrock factions like the Asura Gate, realizing now why they had waited outside—the first wave had been their cannon fodder.

His gaze locked on the storm army in the distance. These figures were not truly alive; no vital aura emanated from them, only an overwhelming storm energy. They were constructs, born of wind and fury—an army forged from tempestuous force itself.

"Hehe, I went to great lengths to safeguard my corpse back then. This storm army was one of the defenses I set. I just didn't expect so many intruders," the Feng Emperor explained ruefully.

Mo Yu nodded in understanding. Before long, the elite forces of the Bloodrock Realm—the Asura Gate, the Barbarian Wild Sect, and others—finally entered the battle themselves.

Against such towering might, even the powerful storm army faltered.

Seeing this, Mo Yu narrowed his eyes slightly and followed after them. A faint unease welled in his heart.

This Feng Emperor's Hidden Treasure… was not as simple as it seemed.
