Andre stepped into the room, still a bit incredulous at the sight before him. He nudged the sleeping German Auror a few times, only to realize the man was completely out cold. Alex smiled faintly as he observed this.
The hypnotic gas he had infused into the hypnosis talisman was highly concentrated, he had spent a good amount of Galleons brewing these potions himself, so naturally, the effect was impressive. But the real challenge wasn't just vaporizing the potion or crafting these card-like Talismans; it was making sure the concentrated gas didn't leak during the delicate process of pouring it into the alchemy card. That was a skill unique to Alex.
In fact, he had even built a special device just for this purpose. So, while the hypnosis talisman seemed simple in concept, it wasn't something just anyone could make.
"Don't worry, we can just use some antidote to wake them up," Alex said, noticing Andre was about to splash water on the Auror's face. He quickly stepped forward to stop him, pulling a small vial from his pocket.
Using a dropper, he carefully placed a few drops into each Auror's mouth. Slowly, the two men began to stir and regain consciousness.
"We… fell asleep?" one of the Aurors murmured, shaking his head as his memory slowly returned.
"That's right," Alex replied. "Exactly three seconds after I use the hypnosis talisman, you both fell into a deep sleep. I even tried shaking you for quite a while, but there was no reaction."
He looked at the two Aurors and asked, "Did you notice anything different before you passed out? Anything strange?"
They exchanged glances and shook their heads in unison. "Not strange, really. We didn't even realize we fell asleep."
Seeing how powerful the hypnosis talisman was, the nearby wizards began whispering among themselves. Amelia couldn't help but admire, "This is incredible. With this kind of tool, dealing with troublesome wizards becomes so much easier."
"Exactly," Alex agreed. "I've tested it myself. From breaking down doors and clearing obstacles to placing amulets on every guest room, following the standard procedure, it only takes about five minutes to secure an entire dormitory."
"Five minutes? So anyone could do this?" someone exclaimed, clearly impressed.
Alex just nodded, a small smile playing on his lips as the others around him murmured their praise.
"As I mentioned earlier, this set of tactical moves might seem simple, but it's crucial that everyone masters the operation process. The most important part is being able to handle emergencies, especially since there might still be people lingering in the room after the lights go out. So, from now on, everyone here will participate in live drills within this simulated dormitory until you're all comfortable with these tactics," Alex said calmly, scanning the room.
"Live drills?" Andre suddenly nodded, catching on. "So that's why today's assembly isn't about immediate action, it's actually a preparation for real combat?"
"Exactly," Alex replied with a satisfied nod. "I'll split you into groups for the exercises. At the same time, everyone will need to pass a clearance test based on the simulated combat scenarios.
Fang will be in charge of that. If your performance isn't up to standard, you'll have to keep practicing here until you get it right."
Hearing this, everyone exchanged glances. The tactics seemed simple enough for even a fool to follow, yet Alex was insisting on a clearance test, and the examiner was that talking dog. Suddenly, the whole thing felt a bit strange.
"Don't just stand around," Alex snapped, noticing everyone's wandering attention. "I won't repeat how crucial this operation is, it has to go off without a hitch.
Don't be fooled into thinking this tactic is simple. It might look straightforward, but it takes practice to execute it perfectly."
He continued, "During the drills, I'll activate some traps inside the building to simulate emergencies. This way, you'll get familiar with the layout and stay calm when real situations come up."
Hearing this, everyone realized they'd been a bit too relaxed. After all, they were up against a huge criminal organization that controlled half of the Ministry of Magic's Silver Wand.
If this mission failed, it could jeopardize the entire future of the German wizarding world. So, following Alex's lead, they all agreed with his plan.
Alex gave a slight nod and then chuckled. "Besides, I spent a lot on this drill. All the gear you'll use is real, so you can get comfortable with it before the operation." He paused, then added, "Oh, and I've prepared a few more things for each of you besides the Amulet of Silence and Amulet of Hypnosis."
Leading everyone out of the house, Alex returned to the conference room and pulled several items from his belongings, laying them out on the table for everyone to see.
"Before the mission, each of you will get a full set of tactical gear, vests and leather boots.I've attached ten copies each of the Silence Talisman and hypnosis talisman to the front of the tactical vests. There are also essentials like food, water, and healing potions included," he explained, pointing to the gear.
Seeing the well-prepared equipment, everyone broke into smiles. Many had heard of these tactical vests but never actually seen one.
Thinking about it, the German Aurors couldn't help but grumble silently about Minister Eisenberg. Not only was he trying to divide Germany, but he was also lining his own pockets, embezzling Ministry funds to arm criminals, leaving the law enforcement with just two sets of tactical vests between them.
Along with the tactical vest, I've also prepared a new generation of "tracking glasses" for everyone. These glasses come with a night vision feature, making it easier to operate in dark environments.
Plus, I've got this pair of messaging earphones that allow short-distance conversations. With them, we can talk in real-time within a two-kilometer range, kind of like Muggle walkie-talkies.
Honestly, these are premium items, and I couldn't even buy them through my usual channels. Alex showed off these two gadgets, having spent a lot of money to make sure everything goes smoothly. When everyone saw these advanced tools, things they had never encountered before, their eyes lit up with excitement.
But then Moody interrupted, his attention drawn elsewhere. "Wait, Alex, why do you have this among your gear?"
