NOTICE: PERSPECTIVE SWITCH TO MAMA ZILLA
A few moments ago, in the Titanosaurian territory.
Mama Zilla arrives at the Titanosaurian territory before Isa drove through. The territory looks like a desert with thick dust clouds hanging in the sky. Sand dunes cover the lands as far as the eyes can see, except the sand dunes reach very high with holes occasionally appearing.
Mama Zilla is in her true size reaching 1.6 kilometers, her fur flutters in the clouds. "GRRRWWLRRR!!"-
NOTICE: TRANSLATION TO HUMAN LANGUAGE
- ", the clouds are packed together." Mama Zilla looks around, "Where was the entrance again?" she moves her hands through the clouds trying to blow it away but the clouds return back to the same state. "It acts just like Nytri when she gets lazy." She looks to the sky and sighs, "I hope the hatchlings can keep little Nytri occupied so she doesn't get foggy." She keeps walking forward, "It'll take a miracle to move her then."
Mama Zilla sniffs the air then she roars, *RO, "Old Dan! Can you hear me!" OR* A resounding Roar comes from the right of Mama Zilla, "Over here!" Mama Zilla turns and walks in that direction.
After a few steps, she comes across another titansaurian but bigger than even her. Old Dan shakes his head, "If you had taken class seriously, you wouldn't have lost your way, again." Mama Zilla scratches the back of her head, "Hehehe, It's no big deal. I'll get it, eventually." Old Dan tilts his head, "You said that the last time." Zilla looks down embarrassed.
Old Dan steps aside to a huge hole in the ground, Zilla walks into the hole and Old Dan follows behind her. The hole leads through tunnel to a huge cavern with glowing rocks on the ceiling, river and flora covering the cavern. It's a beautiful sight to behold and one of the places Nytri nearly died.
Zilla walks deeper into the cavern while Old Dan sits at the entrance of the tunnels to the surface like a guard. There are many tunnels leading outside to various locations and Old Dan watches the entrance.
There're about a 100 Titanosaurians living in the cavern and little ones also running having fun. The others notice Zilla and they greet her, "Zilla? Welcome!" Zilla smiles, "It's good to be home." An elderly one asks, "You didn't bring my little grandchild?" They call Nytri grandchild because she was the first human they saw and couldn't tell if male or female. Nytri also couldn't say since she lost those parts back in the dungeon, and she didn't say for whatever reason.
Zilla shakes her head with a smile, "No, little Nytri left to the human hive." She scratches her cheek, "She called it Bearth." A chuckle comes from the center of the cavern from one sitting that appears to be the king, "Hahahaha, you mean Earth."
Zilla nods, "Yes yes yes, Earth." The Titanosaurian exclaim in surprise, "Whoaw." And one asks, "Where is Earth?" The king smiles, "The previous ancestors told me about it before they left to join the Old Ones." He taps the ground and the Titanosaurians start to gather around him.
A young female Titanosaurian giggles, "It's storytime!" another young one spoke, "Storytime? But isn't it a bit early for that?" The king chuckles and blinks his eyes…..it turned to night instantly with the glowing rocks dimming. The king smiles, "It's night now." The young ones seem joyful as they flock to get the front seats, the adults also sit around the king.
The king puffs fire to the center of the circle and the ground burns like a campfire. The king speaks, "Long ago, before our tribe settled here. We used to live beside the Great Light which made us, and many lights that watched over a huge bubble part in the ground. The lights would always sing and we would dance at their hymns every time the Great Light came to the bubble."
The king looks to the roof as the smoke forms images, "A time came and the hymns stopped. The lights above were falling. Some fell through the bubble, some froze above turning to huge stones, some screamed in pain as they burned and some fell outside the bubble."
The king sways his hand across the fire, "Our ancestors went to find out why the lights fell, but what they saw was horrible. The lights that were once beautiful, now looked abominable and ugly. But it wasn't over, some continued to scream in pain turning more uglier than the first. Our ancestors went to find out what could cause this. Then they saw it"
The king puffs smoke that forms a hideous dragon, "One of the lights transformed, growing in size into a huge serpent, with a huge tail and with ten heads. The claws from this light were so horrible even the ground trembled when its hand was down. It was so big, even our leader was only as big its hand."
"At first, we thought the light had become the 'people of the sky' but we were wrong." The king's tail plays with the fire, "Our leader approached with gladness, but the ten headed serpent struck him with his mighty claw in rage."
He moves his tail like an attack, "Our leader was gravely injured, with that strike. The ten headed light turned to strike the bubble but failed to destroy it, it bit the bubble with its many heads but couldn't break it. Our ancestors couldn't stand by and watch, so we attacked the hideous lights."
The king looks sadden, "Some of the hideous lights ordered us to fight amongst ourselves. We stood our ground to stop them from breaking the bubble, but some of our brethren chose to obey. So, we fought amongst ourselves and the lights."
The king sighs, "One of the great leaders who lived in the bubble helped the ten headed serpent into the bubble. We did not see anything from the other great leader, we thought he would help us or at least chose a side. But nothing."
"We fought for what felt like forever." The king looks across the faces of everyone listening, "When we came to, the bubble was nowhere to be seen. However, huge pillars were in place. Our ancestors were worried the bubble may have been lost. But before anything could happen, the Great Light appeared in the sky above the pillars."
"The Great Light that we revered and awed...wept." The king lowers his head, "The tears from the Great Light was many and heavy, the tears is what made the beautiful tapestry in the sky." The king looks at the fire, "Our ancestors were amazed by what the Great Light did, but we couldn't ignore the grief. We knew it's our fault because our war is what brought the pillars."
"We saw the pillars as a bad omen," The king speaks, "So, we left the pillars in shame. We thought we had ruined the bubble which the Great Light would sit on, and the lights would sing. Though our ancestors left, they didn't forget what had caused the war. Hate grew amongst us, because we blamed each other. Those with strong ties to us remained but those who obeyed the hideous lights fled."
The king smiles, "Our ancestors' journey is what brought us to these lands. We divided the lands and even had to fight those who obeyed the hideous lights. This story, has been passed down from generation to generation. And I pass it to you."
The king uses his tail to play with the fire, "It was about a moment ago when little Nytri came. I spoke with her thinking she maybe unwell for being so small." The king chuckles, "But she said no one on Earth grows to be as big as us. So I asked her where earth is, and she said…..." He looks across them for suspense
The king grins, "Earth, is the bubble our ancestors used to live beside." Then a young one speaks, "Does that mean the bubble wasn't destroyed?" The king smiles, "Indeed." And another young one asks, "Then where is the bubble, Earth?" The king controls the smoke to make the pillars, "Earth is on top of the pillars." They exclaim in surprise.
An elderly one speaks, "Hmmm, why did you take her word to be as is?" The king smiles, "Because little Nytri resembles a Great Light to me and some of her hatchlings are like lights, even if they're not from her..." The rubs his chin, "I found it odd how a young one has hatchlings, but she spoke with wisdom and maturity. Almost as if speaking with an equal," He smiles exasperatedly, "Except when it's time to eat."
"Hmph," One adult frown, "Can you believe she fled from my table after tasting. I made so much to fill her up but she just tasted and left." The king laughs, "Hahahaha, it is indeed strange how she refuses to eat. Nonetheless, I'm glad she's happy."
A male adult speaks with a frown, "I hate how she plays with foreigners. It's unsafe." Zilla shrugs, "I don't understand why she calls those foreigners her young. She treats them no different from her hatchlings too." The king smiles, "No matter, none have tried to harm her. So that is good." And the kings thoughts, "Those foreigners look like lights…..even if they act like hatchlings."
A young one speaks, "Grandpa, why do you say little sis Nytri looks like a Great Light? She's not like the ceiling rocks." The king chuckles, "Indeed, however that is how I see her. You may get the chance to see her light when you're old enough."
The king notices Zilla in deep thought then speaks to her telepathically, "Do not think much of it little Zilla. To see her, the visible must become invisible. And the invisible must become visible. Only then will you be able to see her as a great light."
Zilla nods then an elderly female claps twice, "Alright everyone, the young ones are sleepy. Let's get them to bed soon." They get up from the fire, each returning to caves to spend the night. Zilla also enters a cave with her parents in it.
[AU:INFO
- Alpha Titanosaurian and Titanosaurian are the same species but a bit different. Titanosaurian are the ordinary people in the tribe but those with Alpha went through some rites of passage. It's an occasion for those who are considered superior…..they basically see who can roar the loudest or stand on one foot. Stuff like that.
- 'People of the sky' refers to Primac
- By "Tapestry in the sky' he means the beauty of space or something.
