Kent was taken aback by how insidious Yggzrael played his spell.
He silently cast the spell ahead of time and waited for him to fall into the opening he had prepared for him. Kent sensed that, but he still walked in thinking he could overpower him.
Unbeknownst to Kent, while defeating Yggzrael would be easy, now that he is faced against four demigods, Yggzrael grew confident in his abilities to make Kent feel his power.
Also, he wants to prove himself to his new master, which, judging by the angle he had Kent, he had proven all he needed to prove.
But that doesn't mean he won.
Just when the root tendrils latched onto Kent's leg, the scales on his armor reformed and turned into razor-sharp blades, cutting through them at once.
His leg was freed, but Yggzrael had long retreated, making way for Baelgor.
"Mammoths Bang,"
His hammer crackled with lightning as it came down hard, falling toward Kent.
