"Since you asked, I will try to fix it."
Chase stood up and cracked his knuckles. He emphasized the word "fix."
Edo Levy sensed something was wrong.
"Maybe you should not do that, Levy."
Lucy whispered in her ear. "Chase is known for breaking things. He could tear down the guild in minutes."
"Huh?" Edo Levy was speechless.
She could not believe the usually gentle Chase could do such a thing. But she did not want to take any chances. The teleportation device was their only way to escape the king's army.
She pushed Chase back into his seat.
Sighing with relief, she turned to Lucy. "Thank you for the warning. And please stay away from me. Your face is disgusting."
Lucy: "..."
"Hey, what did you say?!"
Edo Lucy grabbed her collar. "You can insult me all you want. But do not look down on my little brother."
"So what if I do? You violent freak!"
Soon, they were butting heads again, exchanging insults.
"Oh my," Edo Mirajane said.
"Come to think of it, you seem to be the only one who is not different," Lucy said.
"Aye. It is so boring."
"You call this entertainment?!"
Chase ignored them. He turned to Edo Mirajane. "Where is the other me? And Gildarts? I do not see them."
"They left two years ago. They went to explore other continents with the medical team."
"Medical team?"
"Freed, Bickslow, and Evergreen."
Chase was surprised.
"That is... hard to imagine."
"Aye~ They probably treat people with their eyes!"
Lucy and Happy had wandered over.
"No. They are actual doctors."
Edo Mirajane answered Happy. Then she asked, "Are they not in your world?"
"They are called the Thunder God Tribe. They started a civil war."
Edo Mirajane could not believe it.
"So, Laxus was the captain of the medical team?!"
Lucy shuddered. She imagined Laxus in a white coat, holding electric probes.
"No. The medical team only has three people."
"Oh, good."
"Laxus is their fighter. He also helps record data and make parts. He is kind of Chase's assistant."
"Nani?!"
No matter how she thought about it, that was even harder to accept.
"Haha! Good for him!" Chase laughed.
He wondered what Laxus would think when he heard this.
Suddenly, someone walked over.
"Sorry to interrupt."
Edo Cana hesitated for a moment. "Is the Gildarts from your world here?"
"Right! Where is Gildarts?" Lucy said.
"He probably got lost."
"Aye. What a worrywart."
"How can you say that?!"
Edo Cana became upset. "My father is the best geologist in the kingdom. He would never get lost!"
Everyone stopped what they were doing.
"What did you say?!" they all shouted.
Nervous, Edo Cana hesitated. "Sorry. I forgot your personalities are reversed."
"That does not matter! What did you call Gildarts?!"
"Father. Why?"
Everyone else in the Edolas guild looked just as confused.
Chase was the only one who seemed calm.
"Did you know about this?" Gray asked.
"Cana mentioned it before. She asked me to keep it a secret. But this is not my fault, is it?"
His answer confirmed that Edo Cana was telling the truth.
"That bastard! He never told me!" Natsu said.
"Me neither! I am telling the master when we get back!" Gray said.
"But why would he need to hide it? It is not a secret," Lucy said.
"Because Gildarts does not know," Chase said.
"What?!" they all shouted.
BOOM!
The door was kicked open again.
"This is strange. Am I not in Edolas? Why am I back at the guild?"
Gildarts walked in, scratching his head.
Edo Cana's eyes filled with tears. Before she knew it, she was running toward him.
"Father!"
The word echoed through the silent guild.
Gildarts was frozen. He gently pushed her away.
"Sorry. I think I am in the wrong place."
He turned and walked out, closing the door behind him.
A few seconds later.
BOOM!
He kicked the door open again.
"Cana! Is that you? What did you call me?! Sarah? Chimi? Claire? Fina? Mary? Emma? Whose child are you?!"
Everyone: "..."
Edo Cana: "..."
"You went out just to think about that?!" Lucy shouted.
Later.
Gildarts sat in a corner, holding his head. "How could I not have known? My daughter was right in front of me..."
"How could Father be such a womanizer in your world?" Edo Cana said, sitting next to him.
That only made Gildarts feel worse. He immediately apologized.
Everyone else just watched.
Finally, the door opened again. But this time, it was quieter.
"Mirajane, Elfman, I am back."
A girl with short white hair walked in. "What happened outside? Did Lucy and Levy fight again?"
"Welcome back, Lisanna," Edo Mirajane said.
Her smile hid a trace of sadness.
"Are you hurt, Lisanna?" Edo Elfman said.
"Come look! There are two Natsus and two Lucys here! There is another Fairy Tail in another world!"
"Another world?!"
Lisanna was surprised. She looked where he was pointing.
She saw familiar faces.
And Natsu looked up. Their eyes met.
