When the light faded, the battle was over.
Erza stood in her normal armor. Beside her, Knightwalker was bound in chains.
Knightwalker was on her knees. Her hair was a mess. Her clothes were torn. Her spear was broken.
The winner was Erza Scarlet.
"The Fairy Hunter has been captured."
Erza looked at her defeated counterpart. She sighed. She was tired. The Exodia Armor had drained her magic.
"OOOOH! She won!"
Everyone cheered. They surrounded Erza.
"She really beat Knightwalker! So cool!"
"Can you show us your Requip magic?"
"Take that, Knightwalker! This is our Erza!"
They were no longer afraid of her face. She was their comrade.
"Can you teach me your magic? I could protect Juvia," Edo Gray said.
He was wrapped in thick clothes.
Erza pulled him into a hug. "Your feelings are good. But you have no magic. You cannot learn my magic."
THUD.
"Your armor is too hard!" Edo Gray cried.
Everyone laughed.
"I feel a headache coming on," the real Gray said.
He stepped back. He knew how hard Erza's armor was.
"Erza made some friends," Lucy said. She was happy.
"But what do we do with the royal army?" Edo Mirajane said.
Beating two captains was good. But it was also a problem. The king would not let this go. Chase and his friends were strong. But they would not stay here forever.
Everyone started arguing.
"What do you think, Chase?" Edo Mirajane asked.
Chase walked over to Knightwalker. "Do you want me to help you?"
"I lost. Do what you want," Knightwalker said.
She was not afraid to die.
"You have some spirit."
Chase put her in a card.
Knightwalker was just a person who was afraid of living without magic. She followed the king.
In the end, Mystogan would be king. He would need people to help him rebuild.
Let him deal with this problem.
"Everyone. We were asked to come here by your prince," Chase said.
He told them why they had come to Edolas.
"The missing prince is a member of Fairy Tail from the other world?"
"Large-scale space-time magic. Anima. The king made that?"
"He wants to take magic from other worlds. He even wants to hurt Fairy Tail."
They were angry.
"So, if it comes to war, will you help us?" Chase asked.
No one answered. They were used to being afraid.
"I trust Chase," Edo Lucy said.
"Me too," Edo Mirajane said.
"I hate that I agree with her. But yes."
"Just tell us what to do."
Others joined in.
Later.
On a floating island, the girls were bathing in a lake.
"So Natsu took your room? The other me is so weak," Edo Lucy said.
"He is Natsu. You cannot say no to him," Lucy said.
"So, is the other me dating Chase?" Edo Mirajane asked.
Erza turned red.
In another part of the lake, the boys were bathing.
"A bath should be as hot as a hot spring."
Natsu put his hands in the water. It started to boil.
"It is too hot! We are being cooked!"
"I do this at the guild all the time. It is fine," Gray said.
The water started to freeze.
"Now it is too cold!"
Everyone was shivering.
On the shore, Chase and Gildarts sat.
"Those two have not changed," Gildarts said.
"They are very friendly," Chase said.
"Are you not going to join them?" Chase asked.
"No. My wounds still hurt." Gildarts just wanted to go home. He wanted to see his daughter.
Chase did not want to join either. He wanted to find the other Chase.
He was not interested in the battle at the capital. They did not need him. Natsu and the others could handle it. Especially with Gildarts there.
He would leave tomorrow. He would find the other Chase.
"Come to think of it. Is someone missing?" Chase said.
Gildarts thought about it. They looked at the people in the water.
Natsu, Gray, Happy, Mystogan. Who else?
"Where is Gajeel?" they both said.
Elsewhere.
Gajeel walked through a quiet town. "Where is my cat?"
Someone ran up to him.
"I saw you from the window. I thought I was seeing things. You look just like me!"
