Edo Chase looked at him with suspicion.

"I do not know much. The God Realm is vast. I was just a commoner."
"Their magical technology is far more advanced than Edolas's. Magic is a part of daily life..."

"It is hard to start." Edo Chase scratched his head. "The God Realm has nine continents. Each is ruled by a god. They are almost immortal."
"Among them are the God of Death, Ankhseram. The God of Time. The God of Sky. The God of Fire."
"Bored with their power, they started what they call the God Extermination Plan. They send their descendants to lower worlds. They spread ancient texts of God Slayer magic. They choose targets and give them power."
"There is only one goal. To have humans master the power to kill gods and try to replace them."
"Humans cannot kill gods. It is just their way of amusing themselves."
"So you were sent here by a god?" Chase asked.
"I wish. Then I could use God Slayer magic." Edo Chase sighed. "I was hit by a truck carrying stuff. I woke up in Edolas."
That is more like it.
"I would have finished my game if the instant noodles had not run out." Edo Chase was still upset.

That was probably a game from the God Realm. Earthland had similar things.
"But it worked out for you, did it not?" Chase said, looking back at the small guild building.
Edo Chase followed his gaze. He saw his friends laughing. He remembered the good times.
"You are right. The God Realm was too oppressive. Edolas is not great either. But it feels like home."
"That is why we need to find a source of magic."
He did not have power like Chase's. But he had his own skills.
Advanced magical knowledge.
With it, he had built things. The teleportation device. The tracker. The cannons. No one in Fairy Tail had died since.
If they had more magic, beating the king would be easy.
He probably has the dead parents buff too.
Chase thought about what Edo Chase said.
The so-called God Extermination Plan existed in Earthland.
Dimaria, a member of the Spriggan 12, could use Time God Slayer magic. She was a descendant.
Zancrow of Grimoire Heart used Fire God Slayer magic. Sherria of Lamia Scale used Sky God Slayer magic. They learned from texts.
As for those directly chosen...
Chase thought of Zeref.
"What does it take to be chosen by a god?" Chase asked.
"Do not even think about it!" Edo Chase warned. "The price is terrible. There was a fire mage in my continent who was given power by the Fire God. He became a monster that burned everything. He ended up burning himself to death."
"Do not worry. I know more about gods than you think," Chase said.
He had not met any. But he believed his own gods were just as powerful.
So that is where Zeref's curse came from. He is a God Slayer of Taboo and Death.
How arrogant of them to force power on someone.
Satisfied Chase was not interested, Edo Chase relaxed.
"Can you tell me about your world now?"
"In my world, there is no magic. But technology is advanced."
They sat at the edge of the island. They talked all night.
The next morning, everyone gathered.
The plan was to scout the sixth altar. Then come back to prepare.
Chase interrupted. "There is no need. I will take care of it."
He was curious too. What was the source of magic?
"Where is Dark Magician Girl?" Edo Freed asked. He was as clingy as ever.
"She drank too much fruit wine last night. Her master locked her up."
Chase looked at Edo Freed. He thought of Sanji from One Piece.
"You should fix your womanizing ways," Edo Gildarts said.
The man who flirts with everyone is telling him that.
"How shameful. Be more like Elfman," Edo Evergreen said.
"Here she goes again, praising her boyfriend," Edo Bickslow said.
ROAR!
They had reached the sixth altar.
The guardian was a giant black bear with red eyes.
"Ahhh! It appeared!"
Edo Chase hid behind everyone.
The others were also nervous.
Without powerful tools, they could not fight a beast like this.
Chase was at the front.
Seeing no fear in his eyes, the bear charged.
The ground shook.
It swung a massive paw.
Chase punched it.
BOOM!
The bear flew away.
Everyone's eyes nearly popped out.
"One punch. He sent it flying."
"That was not an ordinary beast."
"You call that decently strong?!"
"This is nothing where I come from," Chase said.
He could not do this in his world. It was not special.
"What kind of terrible world do you live in..."
Edo Chase felt lucky.
"Now, let me handle the rest."
Chase summoned Dark Magician.
He walked to the altar. He tapped his staff.
A magic circle appeared.
Freed had given him his rune magic texts. He had studied them. He understood magic here.
The seal broke in minutes.
Edo Laxus was speechless.
This one person could do in minutes what took them years.
"You are still human, right?" Edo Chase asked.
"Compared to the strongest in my world, I am nothing."
"I am glad I ended up here."
"Cheer up. You are still Chase," Edo Gildarts said.
He was not as serious as he seemed.
"Our Gildarts could do the same thing," Chase said.
Edo Gildarts was quiet.
They went to the last altar.
Chase punched the guardian. Dark Magician broke the seal.
Seven pillars of light shot into the sky.
A giant magic circle appeared in the sky.
Then, a giant foot stepped down.
It destroyed half the forest.
