A figure walked through the silent, ominous landscape. His dark blue cape fluttered.
"This living environment... it really suits him," Chase said, looking around.
After their conversation, the Edo Chase team had gone to rest. They had a lot to process.

Compared to these, the magic shortage in the capital seemed trivial. Their original goal was forgotten.

The ground shook. Wind howled. Rocks flew.
In the smoke, a dragon opened its eyes. Black light swirled. Red light glowed.
"You are my master?"
Gandora lowered its head. Its black face had two sharp horns. "Not bad. For a human. But how strong are you?"
Chase looked into its eyes. He was not afraid.
"Want to find out? Do not cry if I beat you."
He cracked his neck.
His magic, Duelist Soul, was different from Lucy's Celestial Spirit magic. There were no strict rules. A contract was just a greeting.
But if Gandora wanted a fight, he would give it one.
"Heh. Arrogant."
Gandora felt Chase's fighting spirit. It snorted. Then it laughed. "But I like that."

A wave of violent energy exploded. Rocks flew.
Chase stopped smiling. He put up a dark gold barrier. The rocks turned to dust.
Without another word, Gandora struck. Its claw moved fast.

The ground cracked. Dust filled the air.
Just a casual hit. And this is the power.
Chase moved back. He hovered in the air.
Gandora did not wait. It stepped forward. Its fist was covered in bone armor.
Then, a magic circle lit up beneath it.
Golden light formed a hexagram. It trapped the dragon.

Gandora charged. Its wings kicked up a storm.
Chase waited. When the dragon was close, he raised his hand.

A pillar of hellfire erupted. It hit Gandora.
"That was Curse of Dragon's Hellfire," Dark Magician Girl said.
She sat on Rock Giant Soldier's shoulder. She ate chips. She watched.
"Roo~" Curse of Dragon agreed.
"The timing was perfect," Dark Magician said.
"Stupid dragon. Not as good as me," Buster Blader said.
His sword hummed.
Other Card Monsters watched. Celtic Guardian. Archfiend of Gilfer. Big Shield Guardna.
"Of course, that was not enough to hurt you," Chase said.
Gandora stepped out of the fire.
In Card Space, Chase could do anything. He could crush Gandora. He could destroy this entire place.
The only exception was the one in the holy zone.
He was keeping his power at the same level as outside.
Bringing enemies into Card Space was possible. But it used too much magic. And it was not always necessary.
Like bringing Lucy here. She had stayed in Dark Magician Girl's castle.
ROAR!
Gandora roared. The flames scattered.
CRACKLE!
Lightning fell from the sky. It hit Gandora. Demon Descending Thunder.
"Lightning? Good for my muscles," Gandora said.
It flexed. It took the hit. It breathed in.
"A gift for you. My master."
The red crystals on its body glowed. From its tail to its head. From its head to its mouth.
Energy gathered.
This was Gandora's roar.
Chase did not move. He reached out. He took Dark Magician Girl's staff.
He spun it. He fired a Super Magic Wave Cannon.
He could have dodged. But Gandora had taken two hits. It was only fair.
BOOM!
The attacks collided. A mushroom cloud rose.
Gandora landed before Chase.
It was covered in flames and lightning. Its red eyes glowed.
Its muscles. Its wings. Its power. It looked like Acnologia.
Good practice for the real one.
Chase stepped forward. His right arm glowed. The Right Arm of the Forbidden One appeared.
"Great minds think alike."
Gandora raised its fist.
No more words. They punched.
BOOM!
The shockwave exploded.
They smiled. They stepped back.
"Haha! Not bad. I accept you. As a brother."
Gandora laughed. Then its eyes narrowed. "But not as my master."
"You did not notice? That title means nothing to me."
Chase treated his monsters as friends. Not tools.
"Heh."
Gandora's crystals glowed.
Red light covered the battlefield.
He is going to flip the table!
Dark Magician Girl grabbed Kuriboh and ran.
The others ran too.
No one helped Chase.
"Let me give you a show. Destruction Burst: Raging Light Flash! "
