"But they're bravely chasing their dreams, aren't they… We both know the Weasley parents can't provide them with abundant support, so they can only rely on themselves.."
Kasen said as he took out gold ingots, diamonds, and magical pearls, tossing them in along with the Abyssal Shard.
The infusion altar once again let out a grand yet unsettling sound. A vast amount of magic and essentia flowed in from all directions. With a hum, the infusion was complete.
A purplish-red paradox matter fell into Kasen's hand.
"That's it?" Dumbledore asked.
"Obviously… uh… it should be done. This thing can be used to blow up that corruption rift. Want to go take a look?" Kasen suggested.
"I'd be delighted… I'm quite interested in seeing your alchemy in action, in every aspect," Dumbledore said with a pleased expression.
Soon, the two of them returned to the dining hall of Malfoy Manor. At this point, even with the suppression of the stasis field, the corruption rift had grown to an extremely exaggerated size.
"If left alone, what would this thing do?" Dumbledore asked as he took some Fizzing Whizzbees from his pocket and handed one to Kasen.
"It would bring irreversible contamination to this world. There might even be beings not belonging to this world settling here… though I can't guarantee whether those things would even count as life," Kasen explained.
"Then let's begin," Dumbledore said in a low voice.
Kasen nodded. He then led Dumbledore back more than ten meters, and the two of them each cast their strongest defensive measures, stacking layer upon layer in front of them.
"This should be enough, right?" Dumbledore asked only after feeling that their defenses could probably block even nuclear radiation.
"Should be about right." Kasen nodded in agreement, slowly taking out the paradox matter from behind their magical cover and guiding it toward the corruption rift.
Dumbledore watched this scene with some helplessness. "So you can control it while it flies?"
Kasen looked at him, confused by the strange reaction. "What else would I do?"
"I thought you were supposed to throw it. Otherwise why would anyone bother building cover here!" Dumbledore said.
"Haven't you seen me use Wither skulls before?" Kasen rolled his eyes and silently stuck two fingers into his ears.
Seeing this, Dumbledore quickly covered his ears as well. Soon, as the paradox matter reached the corruption rift, the moment the two made contact, an explosion not much more dangerous than a firecracker went off, leaving Dumbledore with another speechless expression.
"The power of that explosion… is really small." He stood up from behind the cover, utterly at a loss.
"Well, it's my first time. No experience. Safety first." Kasen stood up awkwardly and nodded in satisfaction toward the corruption rift behind the cover, which was already slowly dissipating.
The corruption rift he had created in an attempt to drag Voldemort down with him had now been perfectly resolved.
As for the destroyed floor and long table…
That would naturally be left for the Malfoy family to deal with when they returned. It's not like they were short on money.
It wasn't that Kasen didn't want to fix it himself. It was just that repairs were ten thousand times more troublesome than renovations.
Running away was simply the better option.
After returning to Hogwarts, Kasen decisively went to the kitchens to get himself a belated dinner. Dumbledore came along as well.
But unlike the starving Kasen, Dumbledore was simply there because he was craving it.
Still, those were small matters.
As for the big matter… well, it wasn't really that big either.
When the two of them pushed open the kitchen doors, they helplessly saw two figures who shouldn't be there—but at the same time, it was completely normal for them to be there.
The Weasley twins were sitting on a table, while every house-elf in the kitchen was carrying large trays filled with all kinds of food or ingredients, walking toward them.
The twins didn't eat any of it. They simply scanned everything with their monocles, then waved their hands, sending both the house-elves and the food away.
"What are they doing?" Dumbledore asked calmly.
"Who knows…" Kasen's mouth twitched helplessly. He also gave things a quick scan with his monocle. "Maybe they're collecting food essentia… or possibly death essentia."
While the two of them were chatting idly, the Weasley twins on the table also noticed them.
They immediately hopped down and quickly stood in front of Kasen and Dumbledore.
"What are you collecting?" Kasen asked with a smile.
"Whatever we can. We're researching whether a large amount of life and a small amount of death can create an aspect similar to weakness," the twins replied.
"And have you made any progress?" Dumbledore asked, while gently stopping a house-elf and casually taking a chicken leg from the tray in front of it.
"Hmm… not for now. Death essentia is too strong. It's like adding black to any color—you can't make it shine. We've run experiments. The subjects don't die, but the damage they suffer is completely irreversible," the twins explained helplessly.
"So, what, are you trying to create a… reversible Killing Curse?" Dumbledore said with a smile.
"Maybe, but that's not our goal. We just think that if we could invent the kind of spell we're talking about, it could perfectly replace Skiving Snackboxes…"
The two spoke in tandem, but abruptly stopped mid-sentence.
"Oh… Skiving Snackboxes…" Dumbledore raised an eyebrow and looked at Kasen. "Did you teach them that as well?"
"What do you take me for!" Kasen said through gritted teeth, then flicked each of the twins on the forehead.
"And besides, if you want to hold someone responsible for Skiving Snackboxes… you should go find Severus. Who knows what kind of bizarre toxins he's been teaching the students in those over-the-top lessons of his," Kasen said with a shrug.
