"What's that sound up ahead?" Loken Ani from Neighrad Kingdom asked, as he looked into the distance with rapt attention.
"I think a party is engaged in a battle up ahead," Nimue replied.
"Perhaps we should go take a look… we might just obtain something other than the Lunar Purity Bloom," Toffle said as he looked ahead.
"Hmm… that's just what I was thinking. Let's go then," Nimue said.
Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!
Toffle and his team made their way under the cover of night to where Davi, Alyssia, and her team were engaged with the alpha grey wolf.
Likewise, toward another end of the Ashwood Forest, Russell, Gravilis, and Priscilla made their way toward Davi.
Just then…
Boom!
A look of shock spread across Toffle as well as Nimue's face.
They had just arrived at the battlefield and witnessed the scene of Davi delivering a fatal blow to the alpha wolf, injuring its paws.
"Davi!" Gerald called out in worry.
ROAR!!!
The wolf lunged at Davi… it was terribly infuriated.
How could a measly human injure its paws?
The alpha of the grey wolf pack was a Class 2 Lv 2 beast. Of course, it had the pride of one!
As it dashed forward, it realized three more humans had appeared in its view.
This was because the direction Davi flew back toward was where Toffle's team stood.

Davi's body crashed into the tree trunk, vomiting a mouthful of blood.
Davi was absolutely exhausted… he couldn't infuse any more Asura Qi.
Is this how it all ends? Davi thought inwardly before passing out.

Just then, Toffle made his move.
"Iron Claw!" Toffle roared as Nen energy condensed around him, quickly forming a metallic claw print similar to that of the alpha wolf.

Both the wolf and Toffle were pushed back two meters each!
They were evenly matched.
A glint flashed past the wolf's eye, but before it could react, four more attacks followed in rapid succession.
"Blazing Fireball!" Gerald roared.
"Wind Slash!" Alyssia called out.
"Lightning Spear!" Loken Ani called out.
And finally, Alyssia's pet, the Eclipse Howler, bit down on the legs of the alpha.
Dang! Dang! Dang!
Boom!!!
The sudden barrage of attacks left the alpha in a miserable state.
ROAR!
The wolf let out a terrifying cry as it rapidly retreated.
"Damn it!" Toffle cursed.
And here I thought I could finally stretch my arms… Toffle thought inwardly.
Alyssia, Gerald, and Daniel were all panting furiously.
They had been engaged in a life-or-death battle for over 20 minutes… they were completely exhausted.
As for Loken, he was fine. In fact, he hadn't even used much of his strength… neither had Bob, the scorpion that trailed after him.
Nimue simply watched coldly… neither arrogant nor overbearing… just observing.
Just then, a scream echoed in the distance…
"Davi!!!" Russell roared.
Swoosh!
Immediately, he dismounted from Gravilis and dashed toward Davi's body in the distance.
"Brother?" he called out, but got no response.
It was then that he looked around… seeing the dead bodies of over twenty grey wolf minions, he drew in a sharp breath.
Without asking any questions, he immediately condensed the Nen energy in the air into water, then slowly into a pale green liquid.
As he focused on healing Davi, he didn't seem to notice that his hair was slowly changing color… from raven black to blue.
A glint flashed past Priscilla's eyes, but she remained silent.
As if on cue, Alyssia's group moved to the side and sat down, regulating their breathing in an attempt to stabilize themselves.
Just then, Alyssia extended her hand, brought out three restoration pills from her bag, and handed two to Gerald and Daniel.
They didn't hesitate.
They already knew Alyssia was a princess… and had the resources to back it.
Just like that, the night passed.

"Alzy… don't try to snatch them away from me," Draith added teasingly.
Archon Alzareth snorted casually.

"Haha… I never knew you could be so hilarious. Clearly, with that scorpion behind him, he will thrive in our Azure Claw Sanctum for beast taming!" Grandmaster Halver said.
