"Patricia." The name stuck in Jack mind ever since that night.

The 8 zombies suddenly halted in their pursuit, sensing the emergence of a new presence. Twisting their head back, the dull look in their eyes shifted into a different expression.
Just like the first zombie, these 8 fell to their knees. Head bowed slightly towards the stronger undead male.
Ignoring the zombies, Jack steadily made his way towards the frightened women. His eyes fixated on the child, clutched in the woman's grasp.
"M-monster." Krazer stuttered, dread filled her eyes on the approaching figure.
"Get away from us!" Krazer screamed, tossing an empty bottle at Jack. Which he easily evaded, crouching down besides them.
"I'm on your side, idiot." Jack subtly frowned, stunning Krazer a bit.
"It can talk?" There were little similarities between Jack and the zombies. Specifically the dead look in both eyes, but never for once had one spoken to her.
