Everything happened so fast that my tired brain couldn't keep up.
Was I sold? And to this Alpha Roman Moscow?
I really wanted to know why no one tried to object or make a counter bid, when this man said something. Who is he?
We are now backstage after I was roughly dragged down.
And right then, I perceived a scent that was seemingly different from all that I had perceived in the past. This particular one, was just so regal and princely.
Each passing second, the scent became stronger as it kept coming nearer to me. I could feel my once tired bones almost gaining strength. Relief coursing through me.

"Card?" The baritone voice asked the broker.
I nearly melted at the sound of his voice, so soothing that I nearly forgot the pain cursing through my body.

"Yes sir!" The broker responded. His voice seemingly shaking.
Everything else faded as I lifted my head, ignoring the intense pain, just so I could see his face. MINE.
He was tall, taller than any man I'd ever seen, with his broad shoulders, a deep tanned skin, a faint scar ran through one of his eyebrow. His jaw was sharp and cleanly shaved, though set in a hard line showing his current mood. He had dark hair pushed to be back, probably with his hands. And his eye, pale gold, almost like a wolf's eventhough he's in human form. The sight made my insides quiver.
He was beautiful even with the cold aura emanating off him.
"Here sir, she's totally yours now." said to the broker, as he hands the card back to him.
It was the full payment, and that meant that I had actually become his property at that moment.
Fear, hope, anticipation, and anxiety course through me as I watch my mate transact with the broker.
A part of me clings to the tales I've heard of mates, who are your protectors, destined to cherish and shield.
Despite the coldness in his demeanor, I dared to hope that the bond might soften him, that he might see me as more than a broken girl.
Is this the end of my misery? Will he accept or reject me? Is he a good person?
Lots of questions ran through my mind and I got some of the answers when I felt a strong grip on my arm.
I was pulled up from the ground in a very forceful manner. It was just so obvious that my fate didn't get any better, but I still had a little hope in my heart.
At that very moment, I was weak and miserable. I felt like my whole life had come to an end. I didn't even know what to expect next, as the bodyguard lifted me up, and we headed straight out of the hall. My mate ignored my presence, not saying a word to me.
Well, that was after they had untied the chains binding my body. my whole body was sore and also filled with injuries.
Tears stream down my face once again, as I feel exhaustion in my body and heart. Even my mate is cold towards me.
"Take her back!" The Alpha's emotionless voice thundered.
"Yes Alpha." The guard replied.
Well, I was even too weak to fight them back, or even object or revolt against anything they wanted to do to me.
I helplessly lay on the shoulder of the strange man, who was assigned to carry me to the back of the car.
Questioning the moon Goddess in my mind, asking why she has forsaken me.
Immediately we got to the car park, I was struck by the contrast of my wretched state against the Alpha's wealth. It wasn't just a random car or ordinary brand, it was a customized masterpiece.
The smooth curves of the luxury vehicle stood in stark opposition to the rough chains that had marred my skin.
I stared in bewilderment, although I had to compose myself properly to avoid attracting more punishment to myself.
Soon, the driver ignited the engine of the car, and we hit the highway.
I didn't know what to expect, my nerves were tense as I anticipated how the Alpha and my mate would treat me. Will he despise me?
Finally, we arrived at the Alpha's castle, a towering structure that seemed to pierce the heavens.
Massive golden gates adorned with intricate carvings of wolves and moons, casting long shadows on the cobblestone path.
It was definitely the most luxurious and gigantic building that I had ever set my eyes on. The castle was designed with gold in almost every corner, and the ground and door, was made with diamonds.
A real description of luxury.
Immediately the car stopped, I was dragged down roughly, wincing in pain from my sore body.
I could clearly see all types of maids bowing their heads down in respect to the Alpha. Maybe, it was highly prohibited for any of them to stare at the alpha on the face directly.
Just then, a young maiden rushed out and dragged my hand, leading me somewhere. She led the way, as I weakly scampered behind her.
Where was she taking me to? I turned back to look at the Alpha who just stepped down from a different car for some kind of hint, but he's busy talking to another man, probably his Beta. He didn't even notice my absence.
What was going to be my fate?
Where they going to slaughter me? My body trembling.
I wouldn't forget to admit that I fell in love with the luxurious designs that greeted me in that castle. Pretty ironic right? Admiring a castle despite my perilous situation.
But truth be told, I knew that I actually wanted to have a taste of good life, too.
Just then, we got to a place that seemed like an underground house, and the maiden opened the large gate that was covering it.
I screamed in horror, as I was welcomed by a very disgusting and horrible sight.
Over twenty young women were tied with chains, their bodies gaunt and trembling. Some muttered incoherently, their eyes wide with madness, while others rocked back and forth, clawing at their own skin.
The air was thick with the stench of unwashed bodies, and the eerie sound of crazed laughter echoed around the room.
I was frozen in shock, unable to comprehend the depths of torment these women had endured.
Just then, the maiden pushed me inside, and she immediately closed the gate behind me. It was at that moment that my new reality dawned on me.
"No no no, p-pls open this gate, pls I beg you, open the damn gate..." I cried and screamed out in frustration.
I didn't know what to make of this,I couldn't believe I just moved from a cell to end up in another.
Pls just take my life and end my misery, please.
