Chapter 56 - Chapter 56

Chapter 56 Yoruha's powerful Chakra recovery

================================================================================

Yoruha thought about it. His sensory ability really had become incredibly powerful now.

It was just that Yoruha had already gotten used to it and didn't treat it as anything particularly special.

"Fighting with sensory ability feels a little unnatural."

Even though Yoruha's sensory ability was very strong, he really hadn't tried fighting while relying on it as his main method.

Only when using Chidori did he treat it as a support ability.

And after testing Chidori Sharp Spear and Chidori Senbon, Chidori was no longer one of Yoruha's main offensive methods.

After all, Chidori still required close-range melee combat. Its attack efficiency wasn't high, and it was also easy for opponents to catch an opening and counterattack.

Kakashi said, "Then train it. Your sensory ability is very strong—you can't waste it."

Thinking that he might have to face the Mangekyō Sharingan in the future, or even the Rinnegan, Yoruha felt he really should practice it.

After all, the Sharingan was the most important Kekkei Genkai in this world.

The Fourth Great Ninja War had been brought about by a few people who possessed the Sharingan, Rinnegan, and Rinne Sharingan.

Yoruha didn't have the Sharingan, so naturally he couldn't follow a path of upgrading his eyes.

The path available to him was Naruto's path—using powerful Chakra and ninjutsu to face the Fourth Great Ninja War.

Even though Yoruha himself didn't have Six Paths power, he felt that in the Fourth Great Ninja War, he might not necessarily be weaker than Naruto.

He trusted the system's power.

Yoruha nodded and said, "I will, Kakashi-sensei. Keep teaching me a few more nature transformation ninjutsu."

Seeing that Yoruha had taken it to heart, Kakashi was very satisfied.

This was Yoruha's good point—he wasn't as strange as Naruto and Sasuke.

Yoruha's personality was very normal. He never had any odd or bizarre ideas.

The two of them trained by the lakeside for several hours, only ending when it got dark.

And in those few hours, Kakashi's Chakra had nearly run dry.

Because for some techniques, he had to demonstrate them for Yoruha.

Yoruha learned extremely quickly. Kakashi only had to explain the principle once, maybe demonstrate it once at most, and Yoruha would grasp it.

So in just a few hours, Yoruha had already mastered more than ten A-rank and B-rank nature transformation ninjutsu.

Fortunately, not every technique required Kakashi to demonstrate it.

Otherwise, even squeezing Kakashi dry, there was no way he could have provided enough Chakra in just a few hours to cast more than ten A-rank and B-rank ninjutsu.

Yet Kakashi's Chakra was nearly exhausted, while Yoruha hadn't even used up a third of his.

On the way back, Kakashi looked at Yoruha, who seemed completely unaffected.

He was speechless. "You're not tired at all?"

Yoruha smiled. "Not tired."

"But you just used more than ten A-rank and B-rank ninjutsu. That should've consumed a lot of Chakra, right?" Kakashi guessed.

Yoruha shook his head. "Not really. I didn't use up that much Chakra. My Chakra replenishes pretty fast."

That was also one of Yoruha's strengths—his Chakra recovered extremely quickly.

Because his Chakra wasn't extracted from within his own body.

It was drawn from the surrounding Natural Energy.

Although the surrounding Natural Energy wasn't inexhaustible, it was clearly under no pressure at all to provide Yoruha with a Kage-level amount of Chakra.

After all, after the Fourth Great Ninja War ended, Naruto had drawn enough Natural Energy to contend with Sasuke after Sasuke had extracted Chakra from eight Tailed Beast.

Compared to that, what was Yoruha's little bit of Chakra?

What's more, Natural Energy was constantly regenerating.

As long as the energy of this planet wasn't exhausted, Natural Energy would continue to regenerate endlessly.

And the reason Yoruha's Chakra was only at a Kage-level wasn't because he could only absorb a Kage-level amount of Chakra.

It was because his current body could only withstand a Kage-level amount of Chakra.

Any more than that, and his body wouldn't be able to bear it.

After all, Yoruha's body hadn't originally possessed any special constitution. It had only begun to gradually strengthen after he obtained the system.

At this point, the fact that his Chakra reserves were already about on par with Naruto's was pretty good.

But because it was Natural Energy, when using the same technique, the amount of Chakra Yoruha needed to consume was far less than that of ordinary shinobi.

Kakashi had no idea Yoruha had this kind of ability.

He was a little curious. "It replenishes especially fast?"

"Yeah. Earlier, after I used three Lightning Release techniques, my Chakra was almost used up, but it recovered again before long."

Kakashi didn't quite believe him.

He immediately opened his Sharingan and discovered that the Chakra inside Yoruha's body had already recovered to eighty percent.

The corner of Kakashi's mouth twitched. "You just released more than ten large-scale ninjutsu. How is it that your Chakra looks like it was barely consumed?"

Yoruha smiled. "I don't know either. My Chakra just recovers especially fast."

Kakashi shook his head. "It's really infuriating to compare people. Your Chakra reserves are already greater than mine, and your recovery is actually faster too."

"And the key point is, your ninjutsu are actually stronger than mine. Which one of us is the teacher here?"

Yoruha looked at Kakashi seriously and said, "If a student can't surpass his teacher in the end, then what's the point of being a student?"

Kakashi paused.

Looking at Yoruha's serious expression, Kakashi smiled knowingly. "That's right. If a student can't surpass the teacher, then wouldn't that just mean I failed as a teacher?"

"But only you can say something like that. After all, not just anyone can surpass me."

That wasn't Kakashi being arrogant. He was a genius to begin with. If he hadn't sunk into a slump for a period before, his strength would definitely have been much greater than it was now.

Of course, no matter how much greater, it would still have topped out at Kage-level.

But how many Kage-level powerhouses were there in the shinobi world?

Forget Kage-level—even Elite Jonin was a level most shinobi would never reach in their entire lives.

For the overwhelming majority of shinobi, Chunin was the end of their career.

But Yoruha was different.

In Kakashi's view, Yoruha's talent had already far surpassed his own.

Kakashi even felt that all Yoruha lacked now was actual combat experience.

As long as he made up for that shortcoming, Yoruha's strength would be enough to surpass him.

But Kakashi only felt gratified.

Yoruha naturally knew Kakashi wasn't being arrogant, and nodded. "Of course. Kakashi-sensei is very strong."

"There are only a handful of shinobi in the entire world who can reach your level."

Yoruha gave him a little flattery.

Kakashi didn't care much for other people's praise, but this was praise from his own student.

Kakashi still found it quite pleasing.

"Let's go see how Naruto and Sasuke are doing with their training," Kakashi said.

Yoruha smiled. "Those two really are very talented. They both contain tremendous power inside them."

Kakashi nodded. "Yeah. Although Sakura is much better than them when it comes to Chakra control..."

"Her Chakra reserves aren't high, while Naruto and Sasuke both have enormous Chakra within them."

"As long as they can master the Chakra in their bodies, their strength will increase very quickly."

When it came to the two of them, Kakashi knew very well how he ought to teach them.

It's just a pity that in the end, one would follow Jiraiya, and the other Orochimaru.
