Chapter 23 - Chapter 23 - Chivo's Determination

Third person POV

Because of that, Artem and Chivo went to Basilio and reported what had happened to their recent training, much to Basilio's surprise. "Wow…" Basilio commented while he dropped his modern pen to the surface of his desk, "…ice magic, eh?"

Artem then nodded on Chivo's behalf, "Yes, and Chivo-kun also had unlocked a Hybrid-classed ability, too, that involved a weapon."

Basilio then thought about that unspecified ability but was happy that his friend had somehow managed to unlock his undiscovered magic and commended for his efforts and achievements.

Basilio then encouraged him to keep on going in his training.

Chivo thought that he would never discover his undiscovered ability at all, but he did so somehow with little effort and a bonus of a Hybrid-classed ability. Now he felt more confident to train up more and go up the ranks a bit. Seeing the fiery vigour in his friend's eyes, Basilio was positive for him.

And so, Chivo trained with more vigour and determination than ever. Artem kept on supporting his determination and cause. When they heard what had happened to him, Agnieszka and Aldona, as well as Fritzi and his party and Ambroos and his son Benjamín, were shocked yet were happy for Chivo.

Meanwhile, in the High Pantheon of Deities, in one of the big drawing rooms and pearl-white floors, Thea, the goddess of ice in blue and ice and with an icy long hair, was in pride when Chivo had finally unlocked his secondary, backup ice magic just in case his career as a support failed him. From a distance, Träger, the god of support in the form of a humble human errand boy with an eternal staff of support (and sometimes, he wore a set of modern construction clothes at other times), couldn't help but feel the dread of Thea's wrath.

When he approached the ice goddess, Thea glared at him. "You'd better apologize to Chivo-kun for giving an ability that wasn't guaranteed to be a success if we have the time, got it?"

Träger trembled and nodded fast. "Yes, I'm so sorry!"

Then, on one corner, Haiteku, the god of tech and a former Japanese Otherworlder tech junkie named Inryū Asai, was chuckling at a trembling Träger while looking at his obsidian-framed laptop, seeing the development of Chivo as a person and Ruslav as a new nation in the Central Continent.
