She wore a sleeveless crop top compression shirt that exposed her midriff, showcasing her sculpted abs and a intricate purple tattoos beginning form along her toned arms.
As she looked up at her opponent who was floating in the air.
She also was a beautiful women with a curvaceous figure and fair skin. Her lavish pink hair was styled in a wolfcut, framing her face with soft layer. Her striking pink eyes featured unique yellow star shaped pupils that glowed faintly.
Gone were her simple pants and blouse, replaced with a elegant starry dress covered in intricate celestial patterns paired with matching knee high boots and gloves. Her accessories included delicate star shaped earrings and a wide brimming witches hat.
Astra Starlight is the 4th daughter of the witch queen, who had the most unique magical attribute. Known as cosmos magic, this magic allows her abilities related to the cosmos such as summoning stars to fall from the sky and attack her enemies or manipulate the space around them or herself
Offering herself both offensive and defensive capabilities.
"I want you to know this isn't personal or that I'm mad that Lazarus killed Maxwell. He deserved it."
Cassandra only spoke after she finished her sentence she." Okay, than why help the Von Helsing? She questioned. "After all Lazarus hasn't harmed anyone aside from Maxwell."
Astra seemed to hesitate before speaking. "As you know we witches help anyone who can afford our services and Ragnar promised not to harm Lazarus."
"Hahahahahah!" Cassandra burst out laughing from Astra's words as if she heard the funniest joke.
"Please tell me you don't believe that? May i remind you that hunters aren't known for helping the supernatural.
They hunt our kind, but i guess you don't mind as long as you get paid. Am I right?" She finished with a look of contempt towards the witch.
Cassandra rushed towards Astra, moving so fast she could barely seen buy Astra even though she was enhancing her eyes with magic.
Cassandra appeared next to Astra with her fist wound back coated in purple flames and lightning. As she fist was sent at a speed towards Astra face but a strange phenomenon occurred.
As her fist was sailing towards Astra, but the space between them rippled and Cassandra appeared a couple meters away from Astra.
'Fuck me! I hate fighting magic users! Focus Cass you need to remember your not dealing with a basic witch here.' She thought to herself.
But in the next moment she dodged to the side as a beam of pink energy came from behind her. But if she thought that was the end she was in for a rough time.
As she looked up she saw that 3 stars shaped beams came sailing towards her at incredible speeds trying to incapacitate her.
Cassandra ran at lightning speed able to out maneuver the the starry beams of energy that seem to come form all sides.
Using her lightning to boost her speed even further as she ran along a tree and created a javelin made from her flames and lightning.
She launched the javelin at Astra and again the space between them rippled. But this time attacks hit Cass in the stomach launching her back further away her body bent in on itself.
As she crashed into the woods causing a small explosion to acure. Cassandra's flames seemed to spread across the forest like setting. Starting a small forest fire.
Astra looked at the devastation cause by Cassandra's attack. She knew they the Bloodfire twins were strong for their age but it seemed as if they go a power boost of some kind.
'I wonder is this because of Lazarus?' She pondered in her head, but before she could come to any conclusion multiple purple fire balls appeared all around her but before she could place a protection spell around herself.
*BOOM*
The purple fire balls exploded causing waves of flames to come from all direction.
Cassandra looked up at the cloud of black smoke where her opponent was, but she knew that wouldn't kill.
She ran away from where they her body covered in violet lightning boosting her speed even further than ever before
She began looking for a way to escape the bounded-field.'Where is the exist'. Bounded-fields usually have an anchor or a source point. If i destroy or disrupt it I can go help the others."
But before she could finish her thoughts a spatial rift opened infront of her causing, which she was to late to stop herself from going through it.
Cassandra realized she was about 100 meters in the sky free falling. She sprouted her wings allowing her to maneuver herself in the sky.
"Wow! Your wings are beautiful!." Astra voice came from all around her. Cass's senses were on high alert for any surprise attacks.
But several Astral chains wrapped around her arms, legs and waist. Astra floated next to Cassandra, and cupped Cass face. Which resulted in a faint blush appearing on her face.
"What do you think your doing?!" Getting these things of me! right now!" She roared flames and lightning coating her body, but Astra didn't pull alway.
"Look I know you don't trust me, hell I wouldn't trust me too if I was in your situation,but I want to help you guys." Her words didn't seemed to contain any falsehoods to them so Cassandra let her continue.
"While, I don't know much about Lazarus I know he's not someone who desires power at the cost of innocent people or become a mindless killer, but i can't say i don't recognize Ragnar fears. Most newborn can't control themselves before losing themselves to the hunger and than getting hunted by the executioners."
Cassandra stood their her flames losing their intensity and let out a sigh. "So what do you suggest."
