Targeted arrangements and training had been made for the first and second rounds of the Super Space-Time Championship. However, the crucial factor was still the final tiebreaker in the third round. If they successfully passed the first two rounds, only for Ino to be thoroughly thrashed by the big loli Aeos and the little loli Kuronoa in the final showdown, then all her previous efforts would have been in vain.
In the end, her own strength was the foundation of everything.
There was no point talking about wisdom and experience; those were intangible. The position of Supreme Kai of Time had exceptionally high requirements for battle power.
Those two were incredibly powerful, making Ino's battle power look a bit lacking in comparison.
Having acquired a true Supreme Kai bloodline, her potential had once again been pushed to an extremely high level.
Her lower limit was Supreme Kai Shin, whom she had already surpassed. Her upper limit was most likely the Grand Supreme Kai, who had been absorbed by Majin Buu.
The Grand Supreme Kai's strength was comparable to Super Saiyan 3.
Ino currently still had a lot of room for improvement.
If given a thousand or eight hundred years to train hard and meditate, she would be confident in reaching that level.
Unfortunately, the agreed-upon timeframe was three years.
She couldn't use the method of traveling back a thousand years, training for five hundred, and then returning to her original point in time.
The calculation was based on her own personal three years of subjective time, not three years moving forward from the current point in time.
It was simply too late to try and train slowly. She could only aim for a quick and effective shortcut.
Ino went to find Whis.
It was her first time visiting the Destroyer's residence.
The place looked as though a tree had been planted in a massive, cone-shaped flower pot. The tree itself had barely any leaves; it was bare and not aesthetically pleasing in the slightest.
Destroyer Beerus and Whis lived inside the hollow of the tree. While it was called a tree, the interior was entirely self-contained, boasting a space more than ten times larger than the surface area of Earth.
Ino had brought a massive pile of delicacies to seek guidance. However, just as she was about to step foot into the Destroyer's divine realm, an ominous premonition suddenly washed over her.
She peered back and forth along the timeline.
After hovering in mid-air and pondering for a moment, she turned around and left.
"Hmm? What was that?"
Less than a minute later, Whis, who had been eating pudding by himself, poked his head out. He curiously scanned his surroundings before returning inside with an indifferent expression.
The sleeping Beerus picked his nose. His eyes, which had been on the verge of opening, drifted shut once again.
Ino wasn't afraid of Beerus. She was a genuine, full-fledged Supreme Kai now; at most, the other party could seal her, but he couldn't kill her.
She just had a premonition that if she set foot in the Destroyer's realm, Beerus would undoubtedly wake up. Even if she used a mountain of gourmet food to bribe him, her training would still suffer significant interference.
She decided it was better to leave Whis to Son Goku and Vegeta.
Ino turned around and headed straight for the Sixth Universe.
"Big Sister Vados, I came to see you!" a certain someone greeted, her mouth as sweet as honey.
The Destroyer of the Sixth Universe, Champa, was thick-headed and big-eared, snoring away like a pig in deep sleep. Even upon hearing the commotion outside, he showed no signs of waking up. He simply pulled the covers over his head and went back to sleep!
Champa had an awful personality. His strength was subpar, his character was sleazy, and he was constantly full of himself. From Vados's daily remarks, Ino could easily sense that Whis and Beerus had a far better relationship than Vados and Champa—much better. The former pair of Angel and Destroyer shared a deep mutual understanding and respect. As for the latter pair... it could only be said that they had no choice but to make do and tolerate each other.
Vados was proud and haughty, feeling quite a bit of disdain toward Champa. She would often vent to Ino about the guy while they ate.
When Ino set foot in the Destroyer's realm of the Sixth Universe this time and saw that Champa had no intention of waking up, she knew that Vados was essentially running the show here.
"Here, Big Sister Vados, try a piece of sea urchin gunkan sushi."
"Have a taste of this tuna sushi roll too. My daughter has always thought this one is tastier."
"Look at what this is! An extra-large serving of unagi don! Hahaha, are you surprised?"
Ino and Vados were in the middle of their meal when the Sixth Universe's Destroyer, Champa, could no longer pretend to be asleep and came rushing out in a blur.
"Ah! This is despicable! You're actually eating delicious food behind my back? Truly intolerable!"
He inhaled the sushi, popping them into his mouth one after another while glaring at the two of them like a predator. After chewing the exquisite food a couple of times, a look of disbelief filled his eyes. His two large ears twitched, and the short tail behind him began to wag involuntarily.
"This... this is actually... actually... so delicious! To think there's such delicious food in existence? Hehehehe—" Champa's chubby face was completely covered in a blissful grin.
Vados rolled her eyes, her face full of disgust. "Lord Champa, your smile is far too sleazy. Displaying such behavior in front of a Supreme Kai from the Seventh Universe will drag down the overall image of our Sixth Universe."
Only then did Champa glance sideways at Ino. "Why is someone from the Seventh Universe in my place?"
Ino smiled and pointed at Vados, then at herself, implying that the two of them were good friends.
"I've long heard Big Sister Vados speak of Lord Champa's majesty. Seeing it for myself today, you truly live up to your reputation."
Champa looked quite pleased. "Really?"
Vados replied bluntly, "She is being sarcastic."
Champa, the thick-headed and big-eared Destroyer, glared at Ino. However, his majestic facade lasted for less than two seconds before he reverted to his old ways, resuming his vulgar, sleazy demeanor as he scooped up the pudding on his plate.
"I don't care. The image of the universe is the Supreme Kai's job; it has nothing to do with me. As long as I'm happy, that's all that matters! Heeheeheehee!"
The guy felt no shame whatsoever; in fact, he was proud of it!
His table manners were incredibly crude. He ravenously devoured a third of the dishes on the table before Vados cut him off, citing weight loss as the reason to forbid him from eating any more.
"Why can't I eat anymore? I'm still hungry!"
Vados stated expressionlessly, "Lord Champa, perhaps you should reflect on the current state of the universe. Under your leadership, the Sixth Universe is acting increasingly barbaric."
Champa's mouth was stuffed so full of food that he couldn't swallow it down right away. Covering his mouth, he mumbled, "That has nothing to do with me either."
Vados spoke in a deadpan tone, "The fact is, if Lord Champa were to use his brain a little, it would burn a large amount of calories, which is highly beneficial for weight loss. I personally believe that the state of the universe's environment is quite connected to Lord Champa's physical health."
Having seemingly grown accustomed to being roasted relentlessly by his own Angel, Champa couldn't care less. He waved his hand dismissively like a big boss. "You two keep chatting. I'm going to sleep!"
With the nuisance gone, Ino brought up the reason for her visit.
She wanted Vados to train her and help translate her Supreme Kai potential into actual battle power as quickly as possible.
Vados looked at her very seriously. "The Supreme Kai of Time you speak of belongs to a generation much higher than ours. It is an incredibly ancient and exalted cosmic divine role. I've only heard the name Aeos in passing; she seems to be a deity from around the same era as my father. Are you certain you wish to face off against those two? I feel that your chances of victory are quite low..."
