Qin Yi immediately departed, exiting the Immortal Sword world. The nation, now fused with Sword Immortal civilization, required a lengthy period of development.
During this time, he had no intention of venturing into other worlds. Instead, he planned to recuperate and take the opportunity to solidify the remaining desolate areas on the celestial bodies under his control.
Now, suddenly hearing news of his younger sister Qin Xiyao, he was both surprised and deeply concerned.
"Her Highness contacted us yesterday and sent a boy," the soldier reported swiftly.
"Why are you only informing me now?" Qin Yi asked sternly.
"Investigating the boy's identity took some time," the soldier replied, his expression slightly awkward, but his answer unwavering.
Qin Yi said nothing. In such a vast nation spanning multiple realms, the sudden appearance of someone claiming to be his sister would naturally prompt immediate verification measures from the relevant authorities.
"Where is the boy now?"
"He's being observed at the Realm Gate observation post. Our brothers are taking good care of him," the soldier replied.
"Good." Qin Yi nodded.
"Our King, should we notify General Yang to mobilize the troops? If Her Highness is sending a distress signal, the situation must be dire."
"After all, she's never contacted us proactively before," the soldier hesitated.
"I alone am sufficient. Concern yourself with nothing else," Qin Yi replied indifferently.
He hadn't expected his younger sister to reach a world like Akame ga Kill!, but while surprised, he wasn't troubled. In a world where even Starlight-level beings remained at the bottom of the hierarchy, he had no reason to fear. The disparity between their worlds amounted to sheer civilizational suppression.
"Yes, Your Majesty!" the soldier replied.
Soon, the two hurried to the Realm Gate observation post.
Upon Qin Yi's arrival, the leaders inside stood to greet him in unison, bowing respectfully. "Our King!"
Qin Yi glanced around. The officials present held relatively minor positions, appointed by various levels of the state bureaucracy. Unfamiliar with them, he merely nodded slightly before turning his gaze to the young man with a longsword strapped to his back, his expression tense.
"Tatsumi, this is Our King. Show some respect!"
An official beside him immediately pulled the young man back.
Qin Yi's eyes flickered, instantly recognizing the young man's identity.
Tatsumi looked at Qin Yi, overwhelmed by the oppressive pressure and vast aura emanating from him. He found himself momentarily speechless.
"Xiyao, how is she now?" Qin Yi asked in a deep, resonant voice.
He cared little for the world of Akame ga Kill! Compared to his sister, destroying a thousand such worlds held no significance.
"Sister Xiyao... she's with Akame right now. She... she sent me here to seek your help," Tatsumi stammered nervously.
He had never imagined that the aloof woman he knew was actually a Princess, let alone that her brother was the ruler of such a colossal realm.
After crossing the teleportation array she had set up, Tatsumi arrived in Qin's Nation. The moment he materialized, soldiers immediately apprehended him.
Their overwhelming strength left him utterly stunned.
He had always considered himself quite strong in his own world, but he never imagined that upon entering this place, he would be so easily subdued by a handful of ordinary soldiers. The officials who had been sitting beside him earlier possessed even greater power, leaving him too intimidated to make any sudden moves, forcing him to remain still and wait.
The sheer scale of this empire was beyond his comprehension, especially when he glimpsed through the glass window near the entrance, witnessing people flying through the sky on beams of light, an image that completely shattered his worldview.
How could such a miraculous and terrifying world exist?!
"Akame (Red Pupil)?" Qin Yi frowned.
"Sister Xiyao said that if we find you, the entire nation and Night Raid can be saved," Tatsumi added.
The officials from the Realm Gate Observatory beside them grew agitated. "You insolent brat!"
"How dare you speak to Our King like that? You need to be taught some manners!"
"To dare call Our King 'you' directly! Utterly disrespectful! Absolutely disrespectful!"
Qin Yi raised his hand, silencing the officials' uproar.
"There's no time to waste. You will accompany Us immediately."
"If anything happens to Xiyao, We will make your entire world pay the price!"
His icy gaze and razor-sharp words sent a shiver down Tatsumi's spine.
He vaguely sensed the roar of a colossal black dragon, beads of sweat breaking out on his forehead. The understated tone carried an unmistakable conviction, Tatsumi knew this man meant every word.
This ruler, who displayed no ostentatious trappings of power, radiated an awe-inspiring terror.
Qin Yi turned to address the assembled officials.
"Inform Gandalf to proceed with the plan and establish the Lesser Immortal Realm in a mountain range rich in Spiritual Qi."
"To create the Three Realms, we must first separate mortals and immortals!"
The officials' faces tightened, recognizing this as a pivotal directive for the nation's future development.
"Understood!"
Qin Yi wasted no more words, turning and striding toward the Realm Gate. Tatsumi followed closely behind.
Emerging from the Realm Gate Observatory, Tatsumi scanned the surroundings, his eyes sweeping across the horizon.
The towering buildings and the wondrous sights he had never seen before shook Tatsumi's soul to its core. The sight of a thousand elite soldiers practicing formations and rehearsing drills filled him with awe.
"Katon (Fire Release)! Unleash!"
"Suiton (Water Release)! Unleash!"
"You rookie bastards! Master the basics of Ninjutsu before you can even think about advancing to the Immortal Technique (Sage Technique) inherited after this Civilization Leap!"
"Show some damn seriousness!"
The squad leader, a junior captain, roared his orders. The soldiers actually exhaled flames from their mouths, unleashing powerful elemental attacks, something utterly beyond Tatsumi's wildest imagination.
He realized that the people of this nation must possess extraordinary cultivation methods. Even the old grandfather by the roadside was practicing a bizarre yet devastatingly sharp sword technique.
What a terrifying world! Tatsumi thought to himself.
"Tatsumi," Qin Yi called out from ahead.
"Yes, Our King!" Tatsumi straightened up, answering nervously.
"If you're curious, wait until I've settled matters over there. Then I'll invite you to explore properly."
"For now, let's hurry on!"
His King's calm words snapped Tatsumi's gaze back to the path.
"Yes!" Tatsumi replied loudly.
The Realm Gate wasn't far off, and the two soon stepped through it, vanishing without a trace.
Meanwhile, within the Immortal Sword Magnificent Qin Faction...
"What? You're saying that kid married a wife in this realm... and then just abandoned her?"
"Li Yuanli, even though you're a King yourself, you can't just spread baseless rumors."
Madara and White Beard exchanged skeptical glances as they regarded Li Yuanli.
"I swear on my royal name, I'm telling the truth," Li Yuanli declared loudly, clearly annoyed by the two old men's disbelief. "To be honest, I've always wondered why Our King suddenly parted ways with Lady An Yi so amicably."
"But Lady An Yi went to the inner Mount Shu, a place virtually inaccessible to ordinary Cultivation's Way practitioners. I couldn't get to the bottom of it myself."
"Is this true?" White Beard clicked his tongue.
"If so, this won't do at all. That boy rejuvenated me and extended my lifespan!"
"I must help him."
Madara was even more direct, turning on his heel and striding out of the room.
"Hey, Madara! Where are you going?" Li Yuanli called after him, bewildered.
"To capture that woman and bring her back."
"No woman of the King's can simply walk away!"
"Inner Mount Shu? We'll destroy it if necessary!"
Madara's voice was utterly domineering, and before the echo faded, his figure had already vanished.
White Beard chuckled heartily, grabbed his Naginata, and hurried after Madara.
Li Yuanli was stunned. "These two old geezers! At their age, they're still so hot-blooded!"
Yet he knew all too well that these two elders had every reason to be confident. Having lived most of their lives, their natural talents had already made them top-tier figures in their original worlds. Now, with the Civilization Leap and the preferential allocation of cultivation resources, these two old masters had combined their strengths and advanced by leaps and bounds. Their current power was constantly soaring to new heights.
Moreover, they each commanded massive organizations behind them, and every member of those groups was someone to be reckoned with.
If they actually manage to capture Lady An Yi, I wonder what expression Our King will wear?
At this thought, Li Yuanli's expression twisted into something peculiar.
He had never understood the Cultivation's Way concepts like "Forgetting the Dao" or "Emotional Detachment." Isn't that just madness? And with these two old fools stirring up such a ruckus, even the most serene state of mind would be shattered.
A faint premonition nagged at King Yuanli, he sensed that these two men would inevitably join forces again in the near future.
What the future held, however, remained uncertain.
After all, as King, and with a high probability of becoming the ruler of the Divine Nation, a life of "Three Palaces and Six Courtyards, Seventy-Two Concubines" was commonplace. Even now, he already had eighteen wives and had completely lost interest in women.
Having experienced all there was to experience and indulged in every pleasure, Li Yuanli had reached a point of saturation.
Moreover, hadn't his cultivation already smoothly reached the Forgetting the Dao Realm? He felt that this "Path of Emotion" was clearly a false path, concealing some sinister plot.
Slay the Akame Realm.
A light drizzle fell over the sparsely populated plaza, casting the atmosphere in an oppressive gloom.
Constant whispers filled the air, grating on the nerves.
At the center of the plaza, where the people had gathered, a severed head hung impaled on a long, spiked stone pillar.
The severed head hung with its eyes tightly shut, crimson droplets of blood dotting its cheeks and forehead, creating a haunting tableau of tragic beauty and brutal cruelty.
"Chelsea!!"
A tormented cry echoed from a nearby street. Qin Xiyao clenched her fists, her face drenched in what could have been either rain or tears.
"Xiyao, we should go back now," a woman with crimson eyes, black hair, and scars covering her body whispered softly.
"Why won't this nightmare end?" Qin Xiyao murmured, shaking her head, her eyes brimming with grief. "Why?"
Having arrived in this world five or six years ago, she had joined Night Raid by chance, hoping to overthrow the corrupt government alongside them. Over time, she had grown deeply attached to these young revolutionaries, forming bonds of friendship, brotherhood, and sisterhood.
Recently, the deaths of one comrade after another had torn at her heart.
Compounding her distress, Nine-Tails, severely wounded in their previous world, was unable to fight, leaving her position increasingly precarious.
The unbearable frustration of watching her friends die, utterly helpless to save them, twisted her heart in agony.
Driven to despair and agony, she finally resolved to seek Qin Yi's help.
