It was only recently that she had used her accumulated King's Strength to teleport Tatsumi back to Qin's Nation.

"Xiyao, it's time to return."

"Didn't you already send Tatsumi to find your brother?"

"If he can lead a large army here, this war will end swiftly!"

Akame placed her right hand on Qin Xiyao's shoulder, gently reassuring her.

"But... he might still be adventuring in another world. Tatsumi might not even be able to find him!" Qin Xiyao pressed her hand against her forehead.

The pain of losing her siblings overwhelmed her, and tears flowed uncontrollably.

"Though I don't know your true identity, you must take care of yourself."

"I can sense that you're far more important than anyone in Night Raid."

"BOSS has always placed great hope in you. You must endure!" Akame urged her, her voice filled with concern.

The Empire had long since been established, but by now it had grown increasingly dark and corrupt. From this decay arose Night Raid, fueled by a longing for a brighter future and a fervent hope for change. They waged war against the Empire's corruption, yearning for the day they could overthrow its oppressive rule and restore fairness to the world. Their adversaries were the Empire's high command and the Hunters, led by the formidable Esdeath.

It was a brutal war, each side determined to annihilate the other.

In this conflict, neither women nor children were spared. Death treated all equally.

Qin Xiyao, at this moment, belonged to Night Raid.

"But... I'm truly powerless!"

Tears dripped from her fingertips. For the first time, Qin Xiyao felt the crushing pain of her own inadequacy.

As King, she possessed an extraordinary lineage and boundless potential. Yet, the path to realizing that potential was not as smooth or rapid for everyone as it had been for her brother.

She had traversed two Mortal Worlds, expanded her territories, and spent twenty-four years in total. Due to the altered flow of time between worlds, she still retained the appearance of a woman in her early twenties.

By the third world, Akame, everything became incredibly difficult. Here, power began to possess supernatural properties, rendering her Ninjutsu ineffective against her enemies. Moreover, the Nine-Tails had suffered a setback in the previous Mortal World and was still recovering.

"You must leave, Princess," the crimson Fox Demon shadow materialized beside them, the Nine-Tails said gravely. "Someone is approaching."

"Go!"

Without hesitation, Akame grabbed Qin Xiyao's hand and made to flee.

They dashed through the streets, but as they rounded the third corner, imperial soldiers spotted them.

"They're here!"

"Don't let them escape!"

"Seize them!"

Instantly, a cacophony of footsteps erupted as soldiers swarmed toward them. Simultaneously, Hunters from the organization swarmed across rooftops, tightening the noose.

"You go first!" Akame released Qin Xiyao's hand, drew her longsword from its sheath, and a deathly glint flashed in her eyes.

In this situation, someone had to stay behind to hold off the enemy.

"Akame!" Qin Xiyao's expression changed drastically.

Seizing the opportunity, Nine-Tails immediately scooped up Qin Xiyao and began sprinting down the street.

"Princess, your life is paramount. If anything were to happen to you, I wouldn't be able to face those old geezers back home."

Qin Xiyao's tears streamed uncontrollably down her face.

"Let me go! We have to help Akame! She can still be saved! Save her!"

Nine-Tails remained silent. In his prime, he might have had a chance to save her, but now he knew all too well that even protecting the woman in his arms was proving immensely difficult.

Qin Xiyao covered her eyes, her tears flowing endlessly in anguish.

How desperately she wished someone would appear to help them.

Suddenly, a memory flashed through her mind: that battle at the edge of Konoha Forest in the Naruto World, when a man had descended from the sky.

"Brother!" she cried out inwardly. "Come save Akame!"

With her eyes tightly shut, Qin Xiyao screamed at the top of her lungs.

But deep down, she knew her cries were futile. In this unfamiliar world, no one could save her.

With Akame's death, Night Raid had lost one of its Admirals, and the situation they now faced was even more dire. They were doomed! No one could escape!

"Save us!"

Suddenly, the Nine-Tails' frantic run came to an abrupt halt. Its pupils constricted violently, revealing an expression of utter shock.

The torrential rain abruptly parted, creating a clear space as wide as two people, concentric ripples spreading outward.

Two figures materialized in the clearing. One was a tall man with sword-like eyebrows and piercing eyes, radiating the majesty of a King's Way. He fixed his gaze upon the Nine-Tails.

"So, who can tell me?"

"Who dared to make my beloved sister so sorrowful?"

The Nine-Tails trembled violently, muttering in disbelief, "Our King!!"

At that moment, Qin Xiyao jerked her head up, her eyes wide with astonishment.

"Brother!!"

Qin Yi had arrived!

Neither Nine-Tails nor Qin Xiyao had expected Qin Yi to actually appear at this moment!

"Don't cry. Whoever made you cry, your brother will wipe them out for you. Just say the word," Qin Yi said softly, reaching out with his right hand to wipe away the tears on the woman's face.

As he spoke, the light in his eyes grew increasingly sharp, radiating an overwhelming aura of kingly authority that seemed to freeze the surrounding rain in mid-air.

Nine-Tails trembled violently, daring not utter a word, his head already bowed low, unable to meet the gaze of this domineering monarch.

Tatsumi spotted Nine-Tails and was about to greet him, but seeing his terrified expression, he immediately tensed up.

"Quick! Save Akame! She... she did it for me!" Qin Xiyao cried out anxiously, remembering Akame.

"I know everything. Leave it all to me. Stay behind me," Qin Yi said softly.

He tilted his head slightly upward, his gaze icy and ruthless.

In the alley ahead, soldiers were slowly closing in from all sides, swarming the surrounding buildings.

"Today, everyone here will die!"

His words carried a bone-chilling killing intent, freezing to the very core.

Immediately afterward, he took a step forward, his gaze sweeping across the scene.

In that instant, the raindrops suspended in mid-air shuddered violently, transforming into countless illusory Sword Artifacts.

A colossal Sword Intent surged forth, engulfing an area several hundred meters in radius around the group in the blink of an eye.

In the blink of an eye, everyone present witnessed the boundless sea of swords hovering in the sky, their eyes widening in shock.

"Just watch quietly," Qin Yi murmured. "Your brother will take care of this for you!"

He took another step forward. The Sword Artifacts trembled violently, then shot forward like a storm of steel.

Pfft! Pfft! Pfft!

Countless simultaneous impacts converged into a deafening roar.

Crimson blood splattered, mingling with the rain as it washed over the streets. A faint metallic scent permeated the air, and a small crimson stream trickled through the pavement.

Qin Xiyao froze, Nine-Tails' pupils constricted, and Tatsumi trembled uncontrollably.

In that moment, apart from the three of them, not a single living soul remained.

"Next, I'll take you to rescue Akame," Qin Yi said with a gentle smile.
