Black and crimson light burst forth from the King of Hell, twisting and coiling as they rapidly wrapped around Grimmjow. Like whips, like barbed spikes, they viciously pierced into his body.
"AHHH!!"
The pain in that instant made Grimmjow throw his head back and howl.
"On the boundary between life and death, the crimson light that pierces the divide, draw it in, roar, scream, fear, snarl, pierce him! King of Hell!"
Qin Yi muttered under his breath, each line of release incantation spilling from his mouth.
In that fleeting moment, the black-and-red light entwining Grimmjow suddenly expanded further, an ominous aura surging violently into the air.
Boom!
A massive explosion erupted where Grimmjow stood. Dust and debris shot up nearly a hundred meters high, forming a white curtain that completely obscured his figure.
Qin Yi had already leapt back, his gaze narrowing as he stared into the dust cloud ahead.
The ability of the King of Hell was extraordinarily powerful. Not only did it possess terrifying offensive force, but its nature was also comparable to the Hōgyoku itself, capable of shattering limits.
This ability could be used on himself and on others as well.
"ROAR!"
A dense, ominous presence suddenly spread out. The dust ahead twisted violently, then froze midair, forming strange rippling distortions as if flattened into a plane. An even more powerful aura than Grimmjow's previous one surged outward, making even the void seem to tremble.
Fifteen breaths later, a beast-like sound of breathing echoed out, blowing through the dust and dispersing it.
Then came the sound of footsteps. A humanoid figure slowly stepped forward.
Messy light-blue hair shot upward, with a few strands falling over his forehead. His body was well-built, clad in a white shirt and shorts. A faint, sinister smile lingered at the corner of his mouth. The right half of his face was covered by a bone-white mask with red markings. A long sword hung at his waist, and he walked forward leisurely with both hands in his pockets.
"So this is the power after breaking the limits?"
With a grin, a strange, wicked aura rose from him. Grimmjow had already arrived in front of Qin Yi, leaving a trail of footprints behind.
As he spoke, he pulled out his right hand and clenched it fiercely, the air itself shattered under the grip, producing a sharp explosion.
"What an exhilarating power!"
A smile spread across his face; he was clearly very satisfied with this sudden surge in strength.
"Let's go. There's no time for you to test your power. I'm in a hurry," Qin Yi said indifferently.
He showed not the slightest fear toward Grimmjow's newfound strength.
"If there's a chance, I'd really like to test the gap between us right now!" Grimmjow said arrogantly, his blue pupils beneath pale green eye shadow gleaming with eagerness.
"I suggest you don't. Because next time, I will kill you." Qin Yi spoke coldly, his back turned.
The icy tone and undisguised killing intent made Grimmjow's whole body shudder.
"Heh, since I've agreed to be the blade in your hand, I'll keep my word! From now on, any enemy that stands before you, I'll cut them down with my blade!"
Grimmjow snarled, gripping the sword at his waist.
He could feel it, the blade had truly helped him break through his limits. Not only that, it granted him a humanoid body, making him far more agile and versatile than before. His Reiatsu had also grown significantly stronger.
At this moment, he had truly reached the level of an Adjuchas, and in this state, he could continue to grow even stronger through further training.
"This is a body with limitless potential, a brand-new training relam!"
Qin Yi gave a cold snort and did not respond, continuing forward.
Grimmjow followed behind with a wicked grin.
In other parts of Hueco Mundo, Great Hollows and higher-level Hollows were relatively rare. But near Las Noches, there were many powerful Hollows gathered.
Grimmjow was inherently battle-hungry. Along the way, almost every Hollow that dared block their path was dealt with by him.
Qin Yi merely waited calmly. Having gained a massive boost in strength, Grimmjow was clearly exhilarated, reveling in the thrill brought by his newfound power.
Two hours later, they encountered their first real opponent.
"Coyote Starrk!"
Qin Yi's eyes flickered as he recognized the Hollow before him, the one who would later become the Primera Espada in Aizen's Arrancar army.
As a future member of the Espada, his strength was undoubtedly formidable, an expert capable of fighting on equal footing with captain-level figures of the Soul Society. At this moment, he was already an Adjuchas. This meant that once he broke his limits and became an Arrancar, he would possess power comparable to a Vasto Lorde.
"Grimmjow, spare his life. I'm taking him in!" Qin Yi called out.
Such a powerful combatant would be of immense help to him.
Grimmjow was in the midst of an excited battle. As an Arrancar, he now possessed a humanoid body, making him far more agile than a Hollow. Though the two were currently evenly matched in strength, the difference in advantages was already clear.
"Heh, the master wants to spare your life; you should feel lucky."
"Grimmjow, why do you possess Adjuchas-level power?" Coyote asked gravely.
In Hueco Mundo, the powerful Hollows were few, and they had often fought one another over time. Even if they hadn't personally battled, they had at least heard of each other's names. Grimmjow's transformation left Coyote deeply puzzled.
He was clearly just a Great Hollow before, far from reaching Adjuchas level, so why had he become so difficult to deal with, to the point that even he could not defeat him?
"You'll know once I beat you!"
Grimmjow's figure flickered repeatedly, reaching extreme speed. He moved like a leopard, faster than one, while black-and-red sparks flashed rapidly at his fingertips.
"Gran Rey Cero!"
"Boom boom boom boom!"
A chain of explosions shook the desert, kicking up massive clouds of sand that obscured all vision.
Gradually, the dust settled. Coyote's figure reappeared, his expression solemn as his eyes scanned the surroundings rapidly. Grimmjow's strength had already made him feel pressured.
"I'm right here! Hahaha!"
Suddenly, Grimmjow burst out from beneath the sand, grabbing Coyote's legs and swinging him violently.
Startled, Coyote tried to break free, but Grimmjow's grip was incredibly firm. After spinning him around three full times, he slammed him hard into the desert.
Coyote reacted quickly, but just as he turned around, Grimmjow had already drawn his long blade and pointed it at his neck.
"Beating you as you are now, I don't even need to use Resurrección, Coyote!"
Grimmjow sneered, his eyes full of disdain.
"In this state, you're no longer like a Hollow, you resemble a Shinigami more. What exactly did you go through?"
Coyote took a deep breath and asked curiously.
"Submit to me, and I can grant you the same power as him, and even give you strength at the level of a Vasto Lorde!"
Qin Yi stepped forward slowly and spoke.
His words left both Grimmjow and Coyote stunned.
"Vasto Lorde?!"
The two exclaimed in shock.
