Besides, the V5 had become his power base, and he had taken many magical tools from there for Meowth to invent and upgrade.
"Stopped?"
Lilith covered her mouth in disbelief. It was hard to believe that three terrifying attacks had been halted so easily.
These were no ordinary attacks, they were three S-level strikes, giant fists that, if they hit together, could easily blow up a small mountain. Yet, they were stopped by a barrier that looked thin in comparison.
What no one realized was that the aura bar in the control room, showing the remaining power, was steadily dropping. Withstanding these attacks wasn't as easy as it seemed, but to Meowth, it was worth every bit of aura, it bought precious time.
Before the stone giants could react, the chest of Meowth No. 1 suddenly opened. Three dark holes faced the giants, like bottomless black pits, exuding a dangerous aura.
Then, brilliant blue and white light burst forth, followed by three dazzling lasers streaking out. Even in daylight, everyone could see these three "meteors" glowing faintly.
Each laser carried destructive power, filled with massive aura fluctuations, aimed right at the cores of the three-headed giants.
"Boom!"
A blinding white flash lit up the area, followed by a loud explosion, actually three sounds layered together. Meowth chose lasers over missiles carefully: the Stone Giants were heavily armored and had strong recoil, making melee attacks or bombs ineffective.
They needed a more penetrating strike, and lasers fit the bill perfectly. The beams collided with the black rock, and after the explosion, thick smoke rose, filling the air with a burnt smell.
As the smoke cleared, visible damage appeared on the giants' chests, large holes revealing something inside, but the edges of the wounds were writhing and healing rapidly. Seeing this, Meowth struck while the iron was hot, pressing many buttons to launch another attack.
By now, the aura bar had dropped significantly. As the base of the stone giants, these three Stone Giants had S-level strength, but they lacked many special abilities, making them vulnerable to this kind of focused assault.
They mainly have incredibly tough bodies, strong attack
power, impressive speed, and a self-healing ability. But when facing Meowth No. 1, who surpasses them in all these aspects, defeat seems inevitable.
If Meowth were to take on the Chimera Ant's three guards, though, he might not come out on top, since each guard possesses unique abilities that play a crucial role in actual combat. Meowth's cat eyes gleamed sharply as he grabbed the helmet sitting nearby, which flickered with red and green lights.
After putting it on, he began circulating his internal aura, causing a white glow to flash across his fur, with faint sword shadows appearing around him. At the same time, Meowth, and the entire Meowth No. 1, surged with aura, radiating fierce aggression.
The helmet acted as a Status Connector, linking Meowth's status with Meowth No. 1's. If Meowth's status improved, so would the robot's, and vice versa, any damage Meowth No. 1 took would also affect him.
Suddenly, the robot's arms transformed, splitting into several parts. Six of them became normal metal palms, while the other three turned into cat-claw arms, each with three sharp metal claws.
In an instant, Meowth No. 1 resembled a spider-like robot, with nine arms moving independently. This design was Meowth's own creation, the huge arms were actually made up of countless smaller arms, and if needed, they could break down into even more pieces.
When the Stone Giant attacked again, Meowth activated the machine's high-frequency mode, boosting its reaction speed even further.
"Bang, bang, bang!"
The metal hands blocked six black light fists simultaneously, like paper beating rock in a game of rock-paper-scissors. The metal arm was firmly gripped in the palm, making it difficult to break free for a while.
Suddenly, three sharp cat claws lunged toward the still-unhealed large wound, slicing through the air with a sharp whistle. Although it was clearly a metal arm, a bright light symbolizing spirit aura suddenly appeared on it.
"Steel Skill: Metal Claw!"
In the control console, Meowth's hands were also glowing with a silver-white spirit light as it directed the robot to deliver the final strike. After activating the state connector, Meowth No. 1 became more like an extension of Meowth's own arm.
It was as if they had merged. Not only could they share the sword's dance state, but they could also use skills together!
"That's a spirit!"
Ging muttered, noticing the spirit aura on the robot's arm right away. Could this massive robot be a spirit tool?
Otherwise, why would spirit aura be present? Despite Ging's knowledge, he couldn't grasp exactly how Meowth No. 1 worked just yet.
But one thing was clear: Meowth was a brilliant technician.
"Sizzle!"
"Pop!"
First came the grinding sound of claws scraping against something hard, like a cat's claws on glass. Then came the popping noises, like bottle caps being opened.
Meowth carefully controlled the three claws to extract the core from inside the giant rock creature. This had been Larry's plan all along.
The cores of these stone giants were definitely not ordinary, they likely held great value. Meanwhile, beneath the ground at an unknown depth not far from where Meowth was fighting, countless massive bodies lay hidden.
If Larry and the others were there, they would see that an entire army of stone giants rested underground. In the void, a figure seized the opportunity, striking the chests of the stone giants with multiple colored beams.
The explosion's smoke and dust blurred the scene, making it hard to see clearly. After delivering the finishing blow, Porygon Z quickly vanished back into the void.
These were three S-level experience points, too valuable to waste. Because of Meowth's technician nature, its strength couldn't be simply measured; it didn't have an experience bar.
This meant Meowth couldn't gain experience points, just like Ditto. All of these Pokemon have strengths that can't really be measured, so there's no experience bar to track their progress.
At the same time, Porygon Z's power is closely tied to Larry's future plans, making it especially important. Because of that, Larry is determined to create more chances for Porygon Z to gain experience and level up faster.
Suddenly, with a loud "Boom!!", the three giant rock creatures crashed backward, their heavy bodies hitting the ground with a deep rumble that shook the earth beneath them. Luckily, the ground here is covered in black shock rocks instead of soil, so there wasn't much dust kicked up, just a strong tremor that made everything vibrate.
These black shock rocks have a natural counter-shock effect. The stone giants have been feeding on these stones for a long time, which has transformed their bodies to have the same texture as the black shock rock beneath them.
