The rain struck the road hard enough to splash against the barriers.
Water gathered around the feet of the people standing outside the Gate, but few seemed interested in moving away.
Most were looking towards the courtroom.
Others were looking at their phones, checking the same scene from a different entrance.
The figure remained seated behind the desk, its presence seemingly overlooking the entire world as it waited for its judgement.
"The Judge has appeared once again."
The reporter held her microphone close, raising her voice over the rain. A strand of wet hair clung to her cheek, but she ignored it as the camera moved towards her.
"As of now, the Bureau hasn't identified who will be brought before it. Personnel are asking everyone to remain behind the barriers."
An agent shouted something behind her.
Several people moved back, but others didn't. The reporter glanced towards them before returning her attention to the camera.
