VOLUME III:

To save the werewolf race, Kai now known as Malachai, attempts to unite werewolves, witches and vampires as the supreme leader to wage a war on the humans and force them into submission.

Chloe is the key to this new world. The hope of a better future. All she has to do is stand by Malachai's side. It's easier said than done as she navigates a world that shouldn't be fueled by rage and revenge.

Her presence calmed him. It comforted his restless senses. Ever since he lost his sight, all his other senses were heightened, and it disoriented him because he had always been used to seeing things to understand them. 


Now, he couldn't see her, yet her honey scent brought a soothing sensation through the bond. The skin contact did more than he thought possible. He had never been a hugger, but being able to touch her brought him closer to home.


Then, her voice. Her soft but firm voice was music to his ears. He wanted to hear her speak all the time. If he could, he would record her voice, her breathing, and her heartbeat.


"I'm here," she said, shuffling closer to him. 


The rippling of the lake brought peace to the already beautiful atmosphere. He couldn't see. "I know." He asked, gently, "Tell me what you see."
