VOLUME III:

To save the werewolf race, Kai now known as Malachai, attempts to unite werewolves, witches and vampires as the supreme leader to wage a war on the humans and force them into submission.

Chloe is the key to this new world. The hope of a better future. All she has to do is stand by Malachai's side. It's easier said than done as she navigates a world that shouldn't be fueled by rage and revenge.

"You killed him! I HATE YOU! I HATE YOU!" She screamed, kicking and tearing at Malachai's body, but he didn't move. Didn't blink as he stared at her blankly. Numb.


"It's your fault! All because of you! What did he mean by protecting you! He loved you! Why do you take everything that's meant to be mine, huh!? First Kai, now him! Why!?" Ivy pushed her. Another shove that sent her stumbling, but Malachai held her as tears ran down her face. 


Ivy smiled, a rare thing that Chloe cherished. They never talked, only yelled at each other and blamed themselves for things that were out of their control, "Why do you and Arc hate each other?" 


She twirled the drink in her hand, unable to hide the grimace, and in those sea-blue eyes sadness. "I could never hate Arc. He holds a space in my heart that no one can fill. Without him, Ivy wouldn't even exist. He made me what I am."
