Idan left Geminia's room, feeling much calmer than when he entered.
The anxiety hadn't completely gone away, but now it was taking shape. He realized what had happened to Eleanor, realized what choice she had made, and most importantly, made sure that this choice was not forced on her.
Idan also saw this as Geminia's desire to expand the Doppelganger bloodline. All the Doppelgangers were to some extent her continuation and closely related to her. He remembered how happy Geminia had been when Ned had become a separate being.
Eleanor was still standing in the hall with Livia and Saelina. Her posture and bearing were not much different from the two Diamond-ranked beings.
When she noticed Idan, she immediately turned to him, and a question flashed in her eyes.
"It's okay," Idan smiled before she could speak.
Eleanor looked at him carefully, and then smiled gently.
"Then I'm glad."
