everyone's eyes.
A few Senior Druids sealed off the roads leading to City Hall with thorny vines. However, if City Hall were to fall, the Green Tower would only have the last region of the Withered Wood Council to defend.
Refugees from other areas gathered anxiously in the last bits of open space remaining in the city. Adults clutched their children, men consoled women, and a stifling tension and unease filled the air, with only the sound of rain pattering down.
