Thomas Fisher led Alice Turner into his home on the eighteenth floor. The place wasn't extravagantly decorated, but it exuded a subtle elegance and paid great attention to detail.
"Feel free to sit wherever you like. I'll take your suitcase to the room," Thomas gestured towards the living room, indicating for Alice to have a seat. Then, he pulled her two suitcases towards the master bedroom.
Alice didn't sit in the living room but followed Thomas instead. As she caught up with him, she said, "I can just stay in the guest room."
She was only staying a few days temporarily until she could find her own place.
"Didn't you say you'd listen to me? Why aren't you listening now?" Thomas glanced back at Alice and continued towards the master bedroom, not heading to the guest room as she suggested.
Hearing him say that, Alice stopped worrying about where to stay and went along with his arrangement, "Got it, this is your place, you call the shots, I'll do as you say."
