Hearing Thomas Fisher's strong reaction on the other end of the phone, Easton Holmes thought he was pretending to be confused on purpose and said irritably, "Don't tell me you don't know Anthony is a woman."
That woman was indeed disguised very much like a man, but in some details, you could still tell she was a woman, a woman in male disguise.
If he hadn't realized that rascal was a woman, being so close with his wife, he would have kicked that rascal out long ago.
The day Alice Turner told Thomas Fisher that Anthony was a girl, she repeatedly warned him not to tell anyone, and he swore he wouldn't tell a soul.
Yesterday, when talking about matters with his big brother, he only discussed the matter and didn't say anything more.
That was someone else's secret, he couldn't just blurt it out.
"B-Brother! How did you know?"
If Alice found out, she would think he told his brother, wouldn't he get kicked?
Getting kicked would probably be the least of his worries, right?
