"Sis! Come downstairs for dinner."
Alice Turner was packing her luggage in her room when Lily Turner pushed the door open and came in. Seeing her older sister packing, Lily's steps paused for a moment, but then she sped up and walked over to her.
"Sis! Why are you packing a suitcase? Are you going somewhere? Didn't Jacob say you don't have to go to the Derry Kingdom?" Lily looked at the suitcase that had already been packed and asked in confusion.
Alice pulled the suitcase to the side and set it down, then straightened up and looked at her little sister. "I thought it over and still feel it's better if I personally send Jacob back. Only then can I feel at ease."
"How many days will you be gone?"
Lily reached out and grabbed Alice's arm, gripping so hard that it felt like if she relaxed even a little, her sister would suddenly disappear.
