After breakfast, Alice Turner and Grace Young headed out with their luggage. Lily Turner had wanted to personally see them off to the airport, but Alice vehemently refused, so she arranged for the family driver to take them instead.
On the way to the airport, Alice received a call from Thomas Fisher. As soon as she answered, Thomas's voice came from the other end of the line, "All is well!"
Thomas only said four simple words, but Alice immediately understood. The anxiety she'd been holding on to finally eased. "I know, waiting for you."
Having received the news she wanted, Alice felt completely at ease, leaning back in her seat, enjoying the fleeting scenery outside the car window.
Five years ago, when she left, her heart was full of melancholy and sadness, but now she felt relaxed and joyful.
