After Anthony and Finn drove away, Thomas Fisher finally withdrew his gaze from the gate and turned his attention to the woman in his arms, "Alice! When did you find out that Anthony is a girl?"
Knowing the importance and secrecy of this matter, he lowered his voice significantly as he asked, just enough for her to hear.
"Over four years ago, I think."
Hearing his question, Alice Turner blurted out her response, but immediately realized what she had said. She looked up at him, "Thomas Fisher! What do you mean by that? Do you also think I have something going on with Jacob?"
She had heard what others whispered behind her back these years, but she never cared about it.
No need to mention Anthony being a girl, even if Anthony were a guy, so what? As long as she considers that person a friend, she wouldn't care about those rumors.
"He doesn't have those capabilities."
