Far beyond Astralis, a man sat quietly in a dark room, watching the students through a connection that should never have existed.
Another image appeared above the table, showing a group of students traveling through a forest filled with tall, glowing trees.
They followed a narrow path between two hills, occasionally stopping to check their surroundings.
The man watched them briefly, then turned his attention to the information displayed beside the image.
Student identification, current location, mana reserves, accumulated points, and even recent combat records were all available.
Although the information arrived with a slight delay, it was far more detailed than he had expected.
"Interesting," the man muttered, leaning forward to examine the records more closely.
His name was Corvin, or at least that was the name he had used for the past several years.
He appeared to be in his forties, with short black hair that had begun turning gray near his temples.
