Chapter 23 - Trapped

I only remember how I died and the MCU that I can recall. I had never even imagined coming here after death. I don't know anything Marvel except the movies, which even then I can barely recall. I do have powers that can grow to infinity according to the little screen that only I can see, but I don't like it here, especially being an agent for SHEILD; it was accidental that I ended up here. I had used my powers, which come from the SCP universe, whatever that means. I had alerted SHEILD to my powers, and now I'm a dog for them. I never liked Marvel much; I preferred DC if I were being honest.

The screen says that I have the goal of establishing a certain group within the Foundation lore. I was then given a quick rundown of the Foundation, and I'm appalled. They kept things like me in cells, and they gave me the bare minimum while also conducting human experiments, and from what the system told me, they apparently didn't have any qualms about killing civilians. I am tasked to free things like me and make sure they don't have their right to life taken away and put in a cell for the foundation. In return, the system promised me power to survive in a glorified hell.

The foundation, from what I could tell from the news, was already in the midst of containing things, and they were being extremely violent. I had originally planned to stay hidden and intercept the foundation secretly, but their rash actions and their lack of secrecy, as mentioned by the system, led me to act accordingly. I would have liked to be free, but now that I am under constant watch by SHEILD, I can't do much of that. I still managed to intercept the weird monster thing, which the system told me was SCP-280, a Keter-class.

Fury doesn't actually know what my powers are, and I have refused to be honest. It's extremely easy to create things that Fury thinks he is keeping away from me; the phone I used to leak the foundation is one of them. Same as this diary, since anything I write is always taken for evaluation.

Back to SCP-280, the system gave me the mission of keeping it out of the foundation's hands, which I succeeded in, but instead put it into Shield's hands, so now I have a different objective: escape Shield and make sure 280 is gone as well.

[Away from the girl]

It was a long ride, but I did it. I have arrived at the scene of the crime. Unfortunately, there is no scenario where I can make it in, and the person who arrived and took 280 is already gone with 280 in tow.

[Due to the failure to contain a KETER class, punishments will now be carried out.]

[Incident/Expedition logs are now required; failure to make one will result in a fake death by an SCP curated for a lot of pain]

I failed, and now I'm punished with homework; school is really torture, and the system acknowledged that by making me write essays weekly. How good I have it, huh? Not like I can do anything about it, and I don't think I want to die to any SCP, even if fake its going to hurt like hell to die to flesh that hates.

[Failure will not be tolerated for a keter SCP]

[Find 280 contain it, and wound SHEILD]

[Due to the absurdity of the requirements, help will be given, but if not used after the mission, the aid will disappear.]

[+2 500kg bombs]

[200 D-class exposed to 008 virus, spreading is controlled by the system]

At the moment of reading over the notifications, Ant's eyes bulged, and his breathing got heavier. He had just been tasked with declaring war on the government while he was still ushering in the new foundation. He didn't know the consequences if he accepted or if he didn't go through with it. He didn't stay long at the scene as he made his way back to home base.

He was then told of the reality bender, who was a girl with black hair and brown eyes, and her height was about 5'6, while her body type leaned more into the slim side; she looked to be of Western descent. When Ant heard this, he was in an even lower mood, since it confirmed it was definitely not Captain Marvel, and he couldn't recall a character that fit the description.

I'm still confused about why I have to declare all-out war on the government. I know we have already gone all out, but this is different. We are revealing that we have big fucking bombs and a zombie virus. The fact that I have 200 d-classes infected with 008 is also scary as fuck. After the long drive back, I gave it a lot of thought, and still I can't come up with a real solution for this problem, for 1 I don't know where they took 280, number 2, reality bender exists, and she is most likely affiliated with Shield and is probably from a foundation enemy from the SCP universe.

Okay, now it's time for the meeting to decide the next course of action, which will involve taking 280 back and harming Shield. For something that shouldn't have emotion, the system really has an ego or something.

[Back with the plotter]

She has been drawing up an escape plan. She had personally delivered 280 to where he is being kept, since only she could harm it, and keep it under control, while the shield agents found out that too much light causes it to disappear. She knew the place where 280 was being kept, and now it was up to her to free 280. The plan she had so far went as follows: first, she would sneak out of her room and manipulate the cameras to play a loop as she made her way to 280; she would cloak herself using her abilities. When she arrived in room 280, her next goal was to create a bunch of light, causing 280 to disappear, and then she would also make her way out.

That was as far as her plan had reached; it was solid, assuming she had enough energy to do all of that since she was only a level 2 bender as of now. Little did she know she wouldn't actually have to do much of anything since the foundation had already decided what to do. After a lengthy meeting with the survivors about the new mission goal, they came up with a plan. They will use a 500 kg bomb to hold hostage a very populated area, to bring 280 out into their hands, they will then reveal they have another bomb planted somewhere to make escape easier, the 200 infected D-class will be used as a Hail Mary since the mtf planned to slip into the sewers and escape, so the infected wouldnt be needed as the virus was catastrophic.

They didn't actually plan to blow those bombs up, let alone release 008 into the public when the system decided who got infected and who didnt. When the Silencers first heard the 200 class D were infected with 008, they were extremely adamant that they were not released into the public. Ant also didn't want to deal with viruses, but since the system said it would control the spread, Ant made a compromise and pretended to switch his mind about using the 008 infected D-class.

The plan was to happen the next day; they didn't want to wait in case of an accident. They started prepping the locations with the bombs for the next day. The first bomb was planted near a skyscraper, and the other was planted in a shopping mall. As for the D-class, they were kept inside Ant's pocket, ready to be deployed whenever he said so.

The reality bender also decided to carry out her operation when there was less presence because right now, there was a boatload of researchers and agents everywhere. She also created her phone and snapped a picture of the room she was being kept in for her scrapbook. She really likes to keep things in her memories or at least written down somewhere.
