It was time for the operation to begin. The MTF were armed, while the D-class were strapped with bomb vests, at first they rioted since they wanted to live, but when the MTF shot another D-class that was also falling, they stopped their complaints and stood still. The plan was clear: the D-class would be used as fodder when they took over the mall, and they would blow up before they said anything that would give the foundation trouble. The sun was glaringly hot today, which didn't help the nerves of the already dead D-class; their only hope was getting rescued, and the bomb defused.
There were contingency plans in case certain scenarios happened, but most of them ended in failure, so they shouldn't happen. All foundation resources were put to use. Ant himself isn't staying at the border site for a specific reason.
[ANT]
I wouldn't call myself a coward, but I'm really feeling that cowardice crawl up my spine. Why is the damn sun so hot? It's not helping my nerves of steel; they are melting in this heat. I am sweating like a dog, jeez! I just had to grit my teeth and push past my limits for this to work the way I want it to. I didn't have to be out here in this heat, but I can't be still forever; I will get too comfortable, and that means overlooking stuff, which is a no-no.
I decided to act and come out here because I believe the agencies will be distracted and won't pay much attention to what I'm going to do. I'm going to be hated by historians for a while because of this. That's right! I firmly believe in my own influence, which future historian wouldn't want to study the affairs of the foundation and their rambunctious and audacious actions?
It's time to erase all my information, but it's going to be suspicious if I just remove 1 person, right? So today I plan to officially burn down the information I can. I like villains, but I really don't wanna meet them, like the saying, " don't meet your heroes." I fully plan to purge the information of millions and any other miscellaneous things buried within.
I would never have done this personally, but I have reality anchors; I doubt many of the current Marvel protagonists can harm me, plus they shouldn't even have received the powers or even exist yet. I long ago determined this world to be the MCU, thus I can make such bold moves. Anyways its time to openly indulge in my sadistic imagination of being a feared villain.
I walked in with a crisp suit (it was cheap as hell) and carried myself with dignity (I hope). I pulled out an AK-47u and a fake trigger button. I fully intended to shift the blame. Needless to say, everyone panicked, some pistols were drawn and fired, but ultimately the bullet ceased to exist when it neared me. I didn't hesitate and pulled the trigger of my weapon. The magnificent noise of gunfire and panicked screams filled my sadistic heart with joy. I don't think I hit anything important, though, which is fine because I can't bring myself to murder. I removed the pistols the guards carried and equipped myself with them.
I then made my way to the goal, hijacking the main servers that stored the information. I'm not a professional techguy, so I asked online, acting like a curious munchkin, and the professionals told me what would probably deal a critical blow to information. I didn't understand it, and it was a real hassle, apparently, because of the criteria, so I instead built off what I think would deal a blow. The foundations tech department just had a bunch of viruses lying around, probably for 079. I swiped some, not like anybody could do anything anyway, and now I planned to release it here to kill the information storage and anything that tried to access it.
This is practically my wet dream, have I mentioned?
"Ma'am, you'd better touch nothing related to the police or none of that, ay?" I tried disguising my voice to the best of my ability. I hope I sounded southern enough.
"Yes!!" She was truly scared out of her wits; she was tapping her foot lightly and moving her eyes every which way.
"Good, ya' have many servers here by chance?" She stuttered out, she didn't know, so I just kindly asked her to point me to the tech expert with my ak47 aiming at her.
Once the tech expert confirmed the existence of servers within the building, I asked if they were capable of infecting separate servers outside their jurisdiction. at the mention of infection. He understood what I was after, but he agreed. So I made my way into the government building and used the tech guy to let me gain access; even if he tried something, it would be futile since the virus should be extremely capable, and I had a reality anchor within grasp.
When I was done doing my evil act, I made my way out full of giddiness like a child on Christmas morning. I planned to hit multiple places to ensure I received maximum output, and also because the tech guy would snitch out my plans as soon as he got the chance to. The mask I had really comes in handy, plus it gives me a straight aura; I'm like a weaker version of Forget-me-not, except it's only my face.
When the investigators arrived, I was long gone and already targeted other sectors, and my absolute deduction skills really were the best as the bombs distracted everyone. The shield was in hell flames by the time I finished lighting more fires for them. The original plan was thrown out the window, but it worked out in my favor because things blew up figuratively, and 280 was free pickings; it was a matter of time before I would recover 20, and then I would compare it to the rewards I received from the cyber terrorism I committed.
yeah! I received rewards from a hidden objective, because I had records in this world, the foundation was not truly secret, so by burning it all down, I made the foundation technically secret, and thus I got 1 reward, which I think is the most precious thing I could have gotten.
[For completing a hidden objective, you received cognition manipulation]
[Note: It's extremely weak and could only alter recently filed memories and experiences (5 hours minimum). More practice could allow the creation of new memories and death/pain/ecstasy/ETC triggers]
I'm not a normal human anymore, I'm officially a supervillain wahahahahah!
[Before all the nonsense with Ant]
The class-D and the MTF had prepped everything, and now all that was needed was the actual start of the operation. The d-class wanted out badly but understood the disparity of their situation, so they kept their mouths shut and stood with the best of their posture inside the van. The oppressive aura was choking them alive, but they would be free soon inside a mall, armed and ready to blow up any second, if they were unlucky.
As for those heading to the other bomb, they were not so lucky; they had been fitted with a cyanide injector, so they could drop dead at any moment, after their main goal was done, and if they failed to do it, they would die. They were instructed to force the bomb that was hidden there to come to light and also be handed over to SHEILD in specific, and so no funny business happened, they were told to ask for a Phil Coulson; they also described his features to ensure they got it right. They had no choice but to obey to even have a slim chance of not dying convulsing and foaming.
The first to carry out their duties was the D-class at the mall, where they were dropped in, given orders to ensure everyone stayed inside, no matter what. They were also told about the 500kg bomb. The mall was under their control in about 20 minutes. Some escaped, but it was only natural, plus it didn't mean much considering they had thousands more under capture, and the orders beforehand actually meant to keep most inside.
The skyscraper was also put under duress, but that wouldn't last long, as the men under this were actually just dead men walking, while the ones at the mall had a chance to escape if SHEILD actually wanted them that bad. The plan was different originally, but the system threatened that if one of the 500kg bombs didn't go off, it would release a monstrosity in the next summon, so Ant had to force his hand.
As for the D-class infected, they had been secretly put inside the sewers (not yet, since the system would summon them there). The system didn't make a fuss about them, so it was best they didn't appear at all.

I'm such a procrastinator holy 😔✌️ I wrote a What if worst case scenario for this action and it ended up with hydra Shield and destroyed US government.
I spun a wheel to decide the power Ant got btw so don't complain to me but RNG instead.
