"God knows why we are at this table and for what?" I thought in my mind while sitting quietly. My stomach felt tight, and my heart kept beating faster than normal.
Why did Sonny and Ezra even want to sit and talk in the first place? I was having severe anxiety inside. My hands were going cold, and I could feel my fingers trembling a little. I quietly rubbed my palms against each other under the table, hoping no one would notice. Thankfully, no one else saw me while we were sitting and waiting for our tea.
