It began with silence; then the screams of fear, violence, and agony followed.
When they entered, no one noticed their presence; no one was aware that danger had invaded them yet. The first stage didn't have many people, no guards, no safety measures, only a few workers, as if they were confident no one would ever find this place, no one could enter here, nothing could touch them. Overconfident. Stupid. Arrogant.
They took care of the workers silently, impeccably, before they could even figure out what had happened. They implanted the bombs in their places, then moved to the second stage.
It was then the silence finally cracked, and all hell broke lose. As they advanced to the second stage, the armed guards', the workers', and the researchers' eyes locked on them and the sea of armies flooding out behind them without any stop.
