Andrew froze in his place instantly, his eyes widened as he took in Matthew's words. They? They had come.
Andrew didn't need to ask who he meant. He figured it right away. Then did it mean they had made the decision? Was Elio exchanging him for Nicholas and Isabella? No way.
"They didn't follow my condition. Instead, they broke into my territory with their armies to take you from me. Interesting."
Andrew released a breath he didn't know he was holding. Hope and relief flooded into him as Matthew's words sunk into him. Elio didn't make any choice. Instead, they had come to him with all armies as the way they had planned.
