Chapter 37 - [Book 1] CHAPTER 10 [2] - Poisonous Snakes and Centipedes

It seemed that during the years when RongCheng was still very young, looking at the child who at all times followed dogging the steps of his grandma caused him to feel it was truly an eyesore, because grandma cared for and loved the person even more than himself.

Afterward, that child was furthermore permitted to enter the Guozijiam, together being educated by a grand tutor, causing RongCheng to find him even more of a thorn in the eye. Because every time that child surfaced, he then attracted the entirety of all gazes, and the man conversely was no different from a background setting illuminating the person.

The heart of envy and rivalry caused RongCheng to act in an exceptionally childish manner; he barred the younger brothers and sisters from being permitted to approach Shang Yuan, and upon the martial arena, striking the person to the point of vomiting blood was still not enough; when school hours ended and he returned, he again continued to draw in his accomplices to block the path to play the game of bullying...

And the person never once resisted, nor did he at all return to report tales to the Empress Dowager; he merely with one mind silently endured, and even if beaten however many times, he would still resiliently stand up.

Then there came a day when the person's exertion received its worthy reward; the more he was bullied, the more he possessed the will to rise up, while the bully conversely resembled one who fell asleep upon victory, leading to a grand defeat.

Throughout an entire long period, RongCheng continuously suffered defeat at the hands of Shang Yuan upon the martial arena; only at that time did he begin to know shame, to know how to consider the entirety of the matter. Taking the person to serve as a target to strive and rise up, merely hoping for a day when he could strike the person down once more.

Time slipped away, both of them gradually grew up, and the person day by day became all the more beautiful... beautiful to a degree that caused other individuals to be unwilling to depart their eyes, and furthermore, the manner in which he understood matters caused all people entirely to surround him to manifest their fondness.

The person could look upon and care for any individual, including one possessing the lowest and most humble status, yet solely RongCheng alone was one he deigned not to cast his eyes upon; that matter all the more made the man furious and jealous. Knowing not whether he was jealous because everyone liked the person more than himself, or because the person regarded his own self as an invisible entity?

The more he hated, the more he paid attention; the more he paid attention, the more there was generated a bizarre feeling that he himself also could not understand at all, uniquely desiring a single thing, which was to press the person down beneath his frame to insult him to his heart's content.

It turned out from that moment, RongCheng's life, which was straight, suddenly became thoroughly bent; even so, he still had not yet recognized that his own self had already fallen into an adversarial trap of love.

Many years later, the Empress Dowager ascended the mountain to leave the home to become a nun, handing Shang Yuan over to RongCheng to care for; this truly was a good opportunity, therefore he nodded his head to accept straight away. Nonetheless, waiting until she was away, he flagrantly set a trap to abduct the person to imprison him at a villa in the outskirts of the city, every night arriving to carry out multiple debauched acts to compel the person to make love...

During that period, he had once treated the person very badly, exceptionally badly... even to the point of harming him so that he nearly had to lose his life; but perhaps it was also from that time onward that he only then recognized the true affection within his heart, knowing how to love, care for, and treasure the person much more...

Remembering back to the matters of bygone years, RongCheng merely wished to slap his own face unto death; despite that, he still had never once regretted; if his own self had not acted in such a manner, then how could he possess the Shang Yuan of today? On the day of binding their hair to seal their affinity, he had vowed to use the entirety of his remaining life to love, care for, and well look after the person, even though it meant terminating his line and being devoid of descendants.

Making love with a male individual, what was not good about it? The unique hardship lay at the place of being obstructed by far too many individuals, that was all... From the very beginning, the Empress Dowager merely wished to entrust the person to RongCheng to care for; at present she had returned, therefore naturally he must return him.

Thinking thus, RongCheng acted in the manner of a starved beast of long years fearing its prey would be captured and taken away, while Shang Yuan could only humor him amidst helplessness.

While the two of them were passionately entangled in intimate acts inside, they had no idea that someone had arrived outside. In the end, that person witnessed the entire scene with perfect clarity…

Yan Si inherently had not expected there would be a day he would with his own eyes witness this scene; he merely wished to come precisely to request RongCheng to grant him permission to follow Liú Yu to exit the palace to go outside to play, that was all.

"They... they..." Yan Si's heart beat like a battle drum... the soul of the youth all of a sudden was tainted with a dark, murky patch of color.

From the sprouts of secret, hidden yearning, now all of a sudden there sprang up a distorted world view; however many trivial desires at this moment flared up like a fire incinerating his core.

Yan Si in a hurry returned to his dwelling place, locking the door tightly... The image of that bout of cloud and rain still crept deep into his head, truly difficult to dispel.

Never ever being capable of imagining that male individuals making love was precisely like this, his heart up to this moment still beat in wild disarray, within unceasingly sobbing: "Why? Why must they perform that deed...? I... for what reason do I feel within my body uncomfortable in such a manner...?"

Desiring him... truly and intensely desiring him...

Yan Si sensed that the matter he was thinking toward was completely wrong and false, yet he still could not bar the impurities from creeping deep into his soul.
