Chapter 1 - PROLOGUE 01

In 1991, life in Northern Syria was already hard. Years of conflict had left people tired and scared. Then something even worse came, a strange sickness that no doctor could explain.

It wasn't just any disease. Something dark was happening, invisible forces were stealing souls from one person and forcing them into another's body. Strangers suddenly woke up acting like completely different people. Families turned on each other.

Neighbours who once shared meals now looked at each other with hate and fear.

The streets filled with panic. Robberies happened every night. Innocent people, even children were killed in the confusion. Trust broke down everywhere. Villages emptied as people fled, desperate to escape whatever curse had come over the land.

Refel, a well-known archaeologist from the United States, heard about the disaster. He had spent years studying old cultures, myths, and strange beliefs around the world. This outbreak felt like something from ancient stories, not a normal illness, but something supernatural.

He couldn't stay away. Refel volunteered to travel to Northern Syria and find out what was really causing all this suffering. When he arrived, officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed him. They were desperate for answers. Even Portfolio Benjamin Franklin, a high-ranking leader, asked the government to declare a state of emergency.

Refel knew the risks. He knew people were dying, families were being torn apart, and no one understood why. But deep down, he believed the answer lay buried in history, in old legends, forgotten artifacts, or something the world had long forgotten.

Little did he know, his search would uncover a power that could change everything... and awaken the fury of a god who wanted it kept hidden forever.
