The frost spread across the deck, moving too fast.
It happened almost in an instant.
General Keane was the first to raise the alarm, but it was already too late.
The soldiers' shoes were already frozen to the deck.
Their energy shields did not cover the soles of their feet.
But this was normal; unless a person was in mid-air, the energy shield wouldn't envelop the entire body.
Usually, if there's ground or something else beneath the feet, the shield probably won't cover the feet.
This wasn't a flaw of the shield, but rather an issue of combat mentality.
People like Liang Yuan, with cautious personalities, would protect even a strand of hair tightly.
Boom!
A loud explosion erupted, and the soldiers began firing at the deck.
Energy guns roared continuously, waves of high temperature swept through, and ice blocks melted rapidly.
However, the surrounding temperature kept dropping, and the heavy rain from the sky became increasingly cold.
