In the three years that Logan was at Hogwarts, he had completed all of the things he had set out to actually do when he decided to attend Hogwarts.
Number one on that list was to obtain a sample of Hagrid's blood, willingly given. It always annoyed Logan when rituals had such requirements for them to work properly, but he was able to get it by saying that he would perform a family relation test ritual. At least, that's what he told Hagrid when he asked for some of his blood. Logan did actually also do a relationship test with some of the blood, just so that he could lie with the truth if anyone ever asked him about it. It turned out Logan and Hagrid actually had a great-great-great-grandparent in common, so Hagrid was pleased about that.
Using that blood, Logan isolated what made giants grow so large and used it to make himself grow larger. The ritual he used was to just make it work alongside his natural growth; his growth spurts would be a lot bigger than others, though.
He was only thirteen, nearly fourteen in another month, and he was already two metres tall, and was nowhere close to where he would finish growing.
His hair had stopped growing down and instead started growing out, so it now reminded him of Madara's hair from the anime Naruto: long and wild hair that was also very soft. The twins liked it. They liked stroking it, so that was also a nice bonus.
After that day in his room, they had started following him around everywhere, even to the bottom of the lake and on his workouts. They would hold onto his fin while he swam them around the bottom of the lake. They, of course, had warming charms and Bubble-Head Charms on, so that they didn't freeze or drown to death. The fact that they were riding on the back of the unofficial king of the Hogwarts lake stopped creatures from trying to attack them.
His shark form also grew with his giant blood. He was now seventeen metres long. It was a huge leap from eight metres, so it would seem that the giant blood had more of an effect on that form than it did his human one. He could also no longer call his form a great white shark, as he had left that bracket a long time ago. He was now thoroughly in the realm of a Megalodon.
Speaking of his girls, he could really be called their boyfriend now. After the first day of being 'together', they were both very forthcoming with their feelings for him, and so they slowly wore him down until he was in the same boat as them, so to speak. He blamed his teenage hormones for making him fall in love.
Logan had even performed a special ritual that was very common amongst pure-bloods before the Ministry of Magic made it illegal and called it dark magic, due to it requiring virgin blood straight from a torn hymen. But it also needed willing parties that wanted to do it and not people acting against their will. Said ritual would boost both parties' magical abilities and capacity. Logan, of course, used the ritual twice, for both twins, when he finally 'took' them, and so he got an extra boost. Logan made sure to only do so once he was sure that they were mentally and physically able to make the decision to be 'connected' with him.
The twins had been disowned by their family recently, right after their parents had found out about the kind of relationship they shared with Logan, who was, in their eyes, a "filthy half-breed beast". The only reason Logan hadn't done something to them yet was because the twins insisted that they deal with their own parents the way they wanted to.
But that also meant that they would be living together with him from now on during the summer and winter holidays. It also meant that Logan would have to reveal his true parentage as a Black.
Logan still wasn't sure how they would react when he finally told them, as they had changed a lot over the years after being around him all the time. He had an effect on them; he just wasn't sure if that was a good thing. They had started becoming happier and less expressionless, so he was hoping for the best but preparing for the worst, as the Blacks were a very powerful pure-blood family that was sure to affect someone who was raised with those ideals constantly being shouted in their face from the moment they were born.
The other thing on his list that he had got done was the hardest, as it had time constraints. He killed Slytherin's Basilisk after opening the Chamber of Secrets from the women's bathroom that was haunted by the snake's last victim from almost fifty years ago.
He had killed it with a cry from a rooster that he had gotten from Hagrid's little egg farm. After that, he had to work quickly, using a ritual that he was very familiar with to transfer the snake's soul to a rock before it could fly away. From there, he altered the way he made a magical tattoo so that it would be able to take a soul as an ingredient and not a spell.
And after all that, he prepared the Basilisk's body for the tattoo and the soul to go in that tattoo. He infused the body with Dementor's cloak dust, and he then put the soul back into the body. But it stayed this time due to the Dementor cloak core holding it there. After that, Logan just had to chant the spell that he had made that would turn it into a tattoo on his skin.
And one second later, Logan now had a Basilisk tattoo that was wrapping around his forearm, with the head of the snake resting on the back of his hand. But after that, Logan noticed something odd: the tattoo blinked at him. That startled him, and even more so when the snake actually started slithering around his body, just as if his skin was the ground.
"It worked? ... It worked!!!"
Logan couldn't help but scream with joy. Down in the chamber, the shout bounced off everything, making a great big echo.
Logan had been able to create a living tattoo that looked like it had real intelligence. All Logan had to confirm now was if the other side he had made it to do worked. So, looking down at his arm, where the Basilisk was currently resting, Logan started talking to it in Parseltongue.
"Can you hear me?" he asked, and what he got was what looked like a nod, but it was hard to tell with the snake being flat against his skin.
"Alright, I want you to try leaving my skin and appearing in front of me."
A second later, there was a huge Basilisk right in front of him, looking around with curiosity.
"Okay, good. And now go back to my skin."
And just like magic, Logan once again had his moving Basilisk tattoo.
"Now that is cool." Logan grinned to himself.
Back to the present moment, Logan was sitting at the Slytherin table in the hall, waiting for the next Sorting to begin. On either side of him were his two girls, Flora and Hestia. The more active lifestyle that Logan had introduced them to had worked very well for them, especially their curves. They were already growing up to be very beautiful, and many had noticed as well. So, over the years, Logan had to break a couple more hands until it was an unwritten rule across the whole school that you stay clear of Logan White and his twin lovers.
Even from inside the hall, you could hear Hagrid's loud knocks at the door. The Sorting was about to begin, and he would once again see little Harry Potter. Logan couldn't help but wonder how he turned out after what he did to change things.
...
As the new first years came into the hall, Logan was watching them closely and looking for Harry. None looked like they would be him, until near the end there was one boy who was separated from his peers. He had short, blackish hair, and it looked very wild. On his face, he had a set of modern-looking glasses that fit his face well.
It was definitely Harry Potter. Logan would remember that messy hair anywhere, he thought to himself, and it looked like Harry had actually eaten real food since Logan had last seen him. Completely different to the underfed little boy with broken glasses and clothes three sizes too big for him that he had made a deal with all those years ago on 4 Privet Drive.
He was now filling out his clothes properly, and it seemed that most of the damage the Dursleys had done to him had been reversed, which was a good and bad sign. How it would turn out completely depended on whether Dumbledore was going to do something to get the easily manipulated chosen child he always wanted back, the very one he wanted by putting Harry with the Dursleys, who he knew would break and beat him down so badly that he would latch onto the first person who showed any compassion. From then, he would be able to build him up into his sacrificial pawn that would be willing to die to kill Voldemort just like he wanted, so that he could then take his place, once again, at the top of the pile as the leader of the Light.
Dumbledore thought to himself with a smile that unnerved Harry when he caught him being looked at out of the corner of his eye.
'Why's that old guy looking at me just like those child molesters I saw on those police programmes on the telly?' Harry thought as he sneakily moved so he was behind another first year, so that Dumbledore wasn't able to directly see him and so Harry wouldn't have to see that perverted look that he was getting.
...
The Sorting was slow and boring, just like every time Logan had to sit through it. The twins would always bring up his Sorting and how he upset the Sorting Hat so much because it couldn't read his mind. Logan secretly enjoyed their teasing, even when outwardly he seemed annoyed with it. It was good to see his girls laughing and enjoying themselves when just a couple of years ago they were so desperate to escape their situation at any cost.
"Slytherin!" the Sorting Hat shouted after only just touching the boy's head, which it had just been put on.
The boy in question had slicked-back white-blond hair and a sneer on his face that looked like he had practised it in the mirror, probably while also telling himself that he was the best.
'Malfoy Jr., huh? This should be fun.'
Logan thought with a grin that showed his teeth. The passing blonde saw it and stopped in fright, but was able to keep on walking when he saw people looking at him just standing there.
After that small display, mumbles and whispers spread throughout the hall. Things like, 'How much do you want to bet on Malfoy, then? I say four teeth and a broken nose, oh, and only three or four broken fingers at most. What do you say about two gallons?' or 'I bet that he's going to lose a whole hand with how proud he's trying to seem. White hates those types!'
Malfoy, of course, heard his name being said by those around him, but when he looked around at those that he shared the table with, they just showed him looks of pity, and some even showed amusement. He didn't like it whatsoever, but he quickly shook it off after thinking that they were all just talking about how great he was and that they were actually giving him looks of envy and were trying to hide it.
It soon became Harry's turn to sit in the tall chair and have the Sorting Hat placed on top of his head.
'I wonder where he will end up...'
...
'Well, well, well, what do we have here? Oh, a lot of courage. You'll do great things in Gryffindor.'
'Not Gryffindor, not Gryffindor, not Gryffindor.'
'Not Gryffindor, huh? But you'll do great things in Gryffindor. I see that you are also filled with bravery as well, another one of old Godric's house's qualities.'
'No, that's where that ungrateful ginger slob went, and he reminds me too much of my relatives. Plus, I have a pet snake and a friend in Slytherin already. I'd rather be in that house.'
'Slytherin? Yes, yes~ I can also see that you would fit right in with those sneaky lot. One with your 'gifts' would do quite nicely in...'
"Slytherin!!!" the Sorting Hat bellowed in a voice so loud that it filled the hall.
It shocked everyone in the hall, but no one was more shocked than Dumbledore and Snape. For one of them, it meant his greatest enemy and most loved one's son was now in his house, and for the other, it meant that he was losing his sacrificial pawn more than he liked. It seemed that he would have to speed up his plan to get it back. It would all be for the greater good, of course.
...
"Logan!" Harry called excitedly when he neared the third-year section of the Slytherin table. The area directly around Logan was clear, with only the twins sitting on either side of him, and Harry didn't hesitate to sit across from them.
When he did, there were gasps and looks of shock at how brave Harry was. No one, literally no one, directly tried to get on Logan's bad side before. Some were already giving Harry the same looks of pity that they gave Malfoy.
They didn't know what to do when they saw that Logan actually did nothing when Harry sat down and, if what those sitting the closest overheard (read: eavesdropping), it seemed that Logan was actually happy to see him?!
What?! This made no sense?!
'Finally, the action will finally start. I was starting to get really bored, even with the twins to keep me ... 'occupied'. I can't wait to get my hands on that—'
...
"What's a pathetic half-blood doing in Slytherin?!" Malfoy shouted at Harry right after they had entered the common room.
Harry looked indifferent as the little brat had his tantrum, at least that's what it looked like from his point of view.
But before Harry could speak, a tall, dark shape came up to him from the passage behind him. When it stepped into the light, it became clear it was who everyone was waiting for: Logan White.
"You're calling half-bloods pathetic? When you, a pure-blood, are nothing but dirt from where I'm standing? Now that just doesn't make any sense to me. Maybe I should show you your place in this world."
Logan started as he passed Harry, who was looking at him with curiosity as to what he would do.
"How dare—!" Malfoy screamed with ego dripping from every pore, that was until he really started screaming, mainly for his father, oddly enough.
From all the screaming and crying, Logan had done something very violent to him, but instead, all he had done was flick his forehead, to test the waters, so to speak, to see just how much punishment he could dish out before it just became redundant as such. Past a certain point, they just collapsed into themselves to get away from the pain, and then they didn't learn anything and went back to annoy him again.
Logan had learned this from all the trial and error over his time at Hogwarts, a place filled with people that couldn't seem to learn their lesson, even when it smashed them in the face.
"I just flicked him on the forehead and he's already begging for me to stop. Stop what? I've not even touched you. But I'll use this chance to toughen you up a bit, make you more of a man instead of this 'pathetic' blob I see in front of me," Logan said to the crying boy, stressing the very same words that he had used at the very start.
Malfoy pleaded, but Logan wasn't listening. He was too focused on what had become a hobby of his: putting egotistical bigots in their place.
The Logan before, in his last life, was nothing like this. He was quiet, stayed to himself, and enjoyed himself by reading. It was only later in life that he socialised and interacted with others in settings such as bars or clubs. His only violent outbursts were because of being forced to the edge, but he never went looking for that person to push him off that edge so that he could 'explode' for a reason, not like he was doing now.
Logan had hypothesised that it was an effect of his Animagus form. His form was that of a predator. He needed that hunt, and he never went backwards now. He only kept moving forward, not looking back on past decisions or mistakes, learning from them but never repeating them. In that way, he was also like his other form, forever moving forward, and it was for that reason that Logan had decided on what he wanted to do...
...
"A broken nose, four broken fingers, all his toes have been crushed, and his body is covered in bruises and cuts. This can all be easily fixed, but I'm afraid that fixing his mind is beyond my abilities. Only time will heal that wound. I'm sorry, Lord Malfoy," Madam Pomfrey said to the long, white-haired man next to her as they stood over a hospital bed in the medical wing of Hogwarts.
In the bed was a badly beaten-up Draco Malfoy.
The man stood silently as he waited for the nurse to walk away and leave him with his son. Once she was gone, he moved around the bed and leaned down so he was able to whisper something to his son, something only a few would have guessed at what he said.
"You are a waste of my blood. I should have never wasted my time and money raising a sick little parasite that only took and never gave anything back, not even appreciation... goodbye, 'son'," Malfoy said with a stone-cold face. It only broke to let out a sneer, but it quickly went back to indifference.
Malfoy then stood up straight and pointed his wand at Draco's head. A silent spell later and he was done, leaving straight after, not even bothering to look back when Draco started thrashing around on the bed like he was having a seizure.
A panicked nurse had no clue as to what was happening and so was unable to prevent the death that soon happened under her watch.
'I'll make sure to get 'revenge' for you, son, for the incompetent Hogwarts staff that are in dire need of replacing,' Malfoy thought to himself as he walked along the corridor. At the same time, he was mentally going through the checklist that he had prepared long ago for such a situation.
'Oh, I forgot to send off that letter to the Minister. I'll make sure I get every sickle and knut for your death, my 'dear' son.'
He thought to himself, letting out a small chuckle as he thought about a perfect plan coming together.
...
"How do you know Potter so well?" Flora asked Logan as they were lying down next to each other on a blanket near the lake. Hestia was sleeping on his other side, her face pressed into his neck. She was looking mighty cute, if you asked him. Cute in the way she was trying to practically suck the heat right out of him by pressing herself as close to him as she could in her sleep.
"I found him when he was younger and helped him out a bit. Got a future favour out of a little bit of work from a potentially powerful wizard. Not a bad deal if you ask me," Logan explained to her.
She just shrugged and went back to trying to get some sleep, like her sister was currently doing, losing all interest in how Logan knew Potter from before Hogwarts. She didn't even bother to ask what the favour was, but even if she did, Logan wouldn't be ashamed to say that it was to torture a family. She and her sister were tempted to ask the same of him when their parents disowned them, but they were still set on getting their own revenge.
They couldn't have Logan sort out all their problems for them. That was something the twins both wholeheartedly agreed on.
...
"Who in their right mind would name a giant Cerberus Fluffy?!" A pale man wearing a purple turban and robes huffed as he limped along the corridor.
...
Within hours of Draco's death, the news had spread to the entire school that he had apparently died of injuries that he had mysteriously sustained that evening. But everyone knew that was just code for 'Logan White beat him up and he died because of it'.
So, in the hall the next morning, everyone was looking over at Logan and whispering to each other, not even bothering to hide what they were doing.
The man in question had much more important and pressing matters on his hands, so the whispering that was going on around him was ignored. Said important matters were sitting either side of him.
The twins had been learning from Logan ever since they properly became a couple. Logan wouldn't stand to have his girls defenceless, after all. He was currently teaching them about how to become an Animagus, only doing so now because he was happy with where they were with their Transfiguration magic.
They had already found out their inner beast but were keeping it to themselves as a surprise for Logan, so that when they completed their very first transformation, he would be surprised. Probably one of the few times they would ever be able to surprise him, because to their eyes, it seemed that he knew what would happen before it did. They were both still very curious about that little detail but never questioned him about it.
"How much longer do we have to have these leaves stuck to the roofs of our mouths?" Hestia moaned to Logan, Flora nodding her head in agreement on his other side, both slumping onto his sides in mock sadness.
Logan chuckled at their pouting expressions.
"Just a few more days. You're basically already at the finish line, so don't give up now," Logan encouraged them. "Once those short few days are over, you'll be able to change into... what form is it, by the way?"
Logan tried to ask like he wasn't interested, trying to trick them into letting their Animagus form slip without their realising it.
"Ara! Ara! Ara!"
Hestia and Flora wagged their fingers at him together as they tutted like they were telling off a child for trying to steal a cookie from the jar.
"We promised that it would be a surprise, so don't even think about trying to trick us into telling you the answer," Flora continued as Hestia kept giving Logan the stern stare.
The hall suddenly became very quiet as a group of Aurors, the magical world's version of police, walked into the hall, and they all had their eyes locked onto Logan, angry stares and wands already in their hands.
Walking right up to Logan, they tried to glare down at him to show their authority, but it didn't work very well when, even while Logan was sitting down, he was still taller than them.
"Logan White?" they asked him like they weren't sure that he was who they thought he was.
"Who wants to know?" Logan asked back, standing up from the bench to his full height and looking down at them all with contempt.
A few of the greener-looking Aurors took a step back when Logan did. Logan let out a smirk at that.
The oldest-looking Auror stepped past the others and held his wand to Logan's neck.
"Logan White, you are under arrest for the murder of the Malfoy heir, Draco Malfoy," he growled at Logan.
He was most likely a veteran of the wars with Voldemort and his Death Eaters, so it seemed strange to Logan that he would be so upset with Draco's death, the son of a well-known Death Eater that got off easy with the Imperius defence, claiming that he was mind-controlled by Voldemort.
'He must have a hard-on for justice or doesn't like it when kids get killed. Well, who cares? Not like I'll remember his face after this.'
Logan thought to himself, smiling down at the man.
"Lead the way, old man," Logan said as he held his hands out in front of him.
The man then put a pair of iron shackles on him that self-locked once they were on both of his hands. The old Auror also grabbed his wand and put it in his pocket.
The twins were both so shocked that they were unable to do anything when they watched their boyfriend get taken away in cuffs and walked all the way out of Hogwarts. They were still sitting at the table with shell-shocked looks on their twin faces when the Aurors and Logan were Apparated from Hogwarts right into a Ministry cell, where they left him.
...
"Ahem! Hello, Mr. White. Do you understand what you stand accused of?" A middle-aged woman that hadn't aged very well, who was wearing way too much pink and had a clearly fake, sickly-sweet voice, was staring down at Logan.
A hard feat, unless you can suddenly fly, staring at him from the top of her podium in the circular room that had seats lining the walls so that everyone sitting in the room could see the centre, where Logan happened to be.
He was sitting in a chair that was probably overly large so that normal people seemed small when they were put in it, but for Logan it was just the right size, which meant that it lost a lot of its tactical purpose of making him look weaker.
He was, after all, in the Ministry of Magic's courtroom on trial for the death of a pure-blood heir that he had 'supposedly' beaten to death.
"Yeah, Um-bitch, I'm accused of beating an egotistical brat to death. Or are you trying to pin some other crimes on me?" Logan asked as he leaned back into the chair.
The woman in pink, the one Logan called Um-bitch, was clearly trying to control her anger as she breathed in deeply and then started shouting.
"That is Miss Umbridge to you! You filthy half-breed—!" she screamed before suddenly realising what she was saying and stopping herself.
She calmed down with another deep breath before putting on her fake, sickly-sweet voice that just made her sound like a child molester that was trying to lure in young, naive children.
"You will address me as such. Is that understood?" she asked, not even expecting an answer as she glared at Logan, who just looked uninterested and ready to kill someone.
Logan suddenly sighed loudly. Everyone in the courtroom was thinking that he was giving up to her and would play along, but they were completely wrong and were stunned by what happened next.
Logan stood up, stretching to his full height and making many of them surprised. But they now understood why Umbridge called him a half-breed. With that kind of height, he could only be a half-giant.
"I was going to wait until the verdict, where you would ultimately rule me guilty with the minimal evidence you fabricated, but this is too boring~!" Logan said before grinning at all the confused faces around him.
"So I'm just going to skip ahead to the good bit."
Logan finished before suddenly growing and deforming into another shape.
His clothes were unable to contain him anymore and burst from his body, leaving his top bare. Logan was just glad that he had made his trousers magically resizable to his body so that he wasn't completely naked.
His skin became blue and rough, like it was made up of interlocking plates with a razor edge, and his hands became webbed. The same happened to his feet, which you could now see after they grew too big for his shoes and they exploded just like his clothes.
He grew a large fin from his back, and his head became that of a shark, along with gills on both sides of his neck. He was now five metres tall, and his muscles became even larger to fit his now-huge body.
(Author Note: Imagine King Shark from the Flash TV series, but taller and with tattoos.)
"Oh~ this is going to be fun!"
Logan's voice was deep and gravelly. After he finished speaking, all hell broke loose. People started screaming and rushing to get to the doors, not even bothering to attack him.
...
As everyone was screaming and running as fast as their lazy wizard legs could carry them, Logan was looking through the terrorised mob, trying to spot the pink, toxic toad that was trying to hop away from him.
Logan spotted the pink blob in a sea of black robes and started walking towards it, scaring the people closest to him and making them try to Apparate away to safety, completely forgetting about the anti-Apparition wards in place that were meant to prevent criminals from trying to get away during their trial. Instead, it just made it into a perfect place to trap them all in with Logan.
Once people bounced back from the wards, they either landed badly and hurt something or, worse, splinched themselves, meaning they 'left something behind' when they tried to leave.
Some people were only missing a few strands of hair or a part of their clothes, but others were missing fingers, whole limbs, and, in some cases, people had left their entire body behind so that only their heads ended up bouncing back from the wards.
It was quite a gruesome sight, and it only made the mob panic even further.
Logan ignored the pandemonium that he had inadvertently caused and continued walking towards the pink toad, who was now on the floor after being pushed down and thrown towards him by other people trying to save themselves from the threat that was a shark-man called Logan White.
Panic was clear in her eyes, and a puddle started forming underneath her, slowly getting larger as Logan got closer.
"That's just gross. Die with some dignity, at least," Logan said as he reached down and put his large, webbed hand around her head.
She whimpered what sounded like a plea for mercy as Logan started to squeeze, eventually bursting her head like a watermelon. Brain matter, blood, and bone fragments dripped off Logan's hand, and he looked down on it in disgust before using wandless magic to clean his hand.
Leaving Umbridge's headless body where it lay in a pool of her own piss and blood, not even giving her a second glance, Logan looked towards where he felt some powerful magical signatures coming at him in a group and in what felt like a battle formation.
'Must be Aurors,' Logan thought as he prepared for them to come through the double doors that people were still banging on, trying to get out, not even thinking of using their most powerful tool to get the doors open with a simple spell that even Hogwarts first years knew.
It was likely that as soon as those doors opened, he would be bombarded with attack spells that even his magically enchanted skin would have trouble holding up under, so Logan decided to unleash something that would be able to take out the threat at the same time.
...
"We go in with Formation B. I want wands in the air and civvies on the floor. Make sure they're only stunned, though. I can't be bothered with the paperwork if one of you idiots accidentally kills one!" a senior Auror shouted at the front of the group that was rushing down the hallway towards the courtroom where Logan was being sentenced.
As they got closer, they got into a formation that made it so none of them would end up hitting the others but would also allow them to cover for one another if one of them went down.
"We enter on my count! Three! Two! One!"
The senior Auror shouted before he flicked his wand and made the courtroom doors open.
A flood of people wearing robes ran out as soon as they could, most falling over one another and getting trampled on by the ones behind them. The Aurors stunned most of them and then levitated them to the side, just trying to clear a path forwards, working together as quickly as they could.
When they were finally through, they were shocked at what they saw in the centre of the room: a hulking beast that looked like a part-man, part-shark hybrid, with blood and bodies all around it.
Because they were staring directly at the shark-man, they saw when a mark on his skin actually started to move from around his shoulders to the hand that he was raising towards them.
Thinking that it was just a magical beast that someone had unleashed in the courtroom, they didn't even entertain the idea that it would be able to use magic, as there had never been such a case before.
But it seemed they were wrong when a black, long object shot out from the shark-man's skin, quickly getting larger as it came towards them. They didn't even have a chance to move when they saw the giant, gaping mouth with fangs coming towards them at high speed.
The black blur turned out to be a huge, sixty-to-seventy-foot Basilisk that crushed people who just happened to be unlucky enough to be in the way at the time when it landed.
When the Aurors tried to attack it, the spells would just bounce off the snake's skin, and if they even tried to look at it and were unlucky, they would end up turning into a corpse. The snake's eyes were like a window to the afterlife that sent anyone who looked into them on to meet their maker.
...
Once all the Aurors were either dead or unconscious, Logan summoned the Basilisk back to its tattooed home on his skin and then transformed back down to his human form, just so that he could get through the door. Granted, he still had to lean down when he went through them so that he wouldn't hit his head on the frame.
Logan had discovered that he could transform halfway one day while he was out swimming in the lake, a gut instinct telling him what to do. Logan believed that it was the effect of the giant's blood he had made a part of himself, its effect giving him a more human-like Animagus form.
Walking through the Ministry corridors, Logan watched as people ran to get away from him. He couldn't imagine why, but he felt that it had something to do with the blood splatter that marked his body.
Logan was walking with a destination in mind, following the strong magical signature that he had felt as soon as he was arrested and Apparated into the Ministry cell.
Going through door after door and even taking four different lifts up, down, and sideways, he finally arrived at a door that went straight down into a black abyss.
Recognising the place from the movies, Logan didn't hesitate to jump straight down into the darkness, transforming into his shark-man form as he went.
It was seconds later when he hit the stone floor with a great thud that made the ground crack and pebbles bounce up from the ground when he landed.
He had landed on the edge of a stone platform. It looked like the Ministry was built around the stone formation in front of him.
Walking up to it, Logan studied the archway known as the Veil. Its surface rippled like the ocean on a calm day, but it was completely see-through and didn't have the deep, dark depths that he liked to swim in to relax that the ocean did.
It was also known as the gateway to the land of the dead because everything with a heartbeat died once they passed through to the other side. It certainly felt powerful, but Logan wasn't so sure that it was the pathway to the land of the dead. It certainly went somewhere.
It was exactly what Logan needed.
...
On a normal morning at Hogwarts, the hall was filled with students eating breakfast, and of course the rumour mill was already in full effect with the recent happenings: Malfoy Jr.'s death, Logan's arrest, and the whispers of what happened during his trial last night. But it was too unbelievable for anyone to take it seriously.
Most of what they heard did seem like the truth, though. It was Logan White they were talking about, after all. He had a certain reputation that just made the impossible seem possible, enough to even give doubt to whether what they heard could actually be the truth.
It was also for that reason that almost everyone was outright staring at the twins sitting down at the Slytherin table across from them, the world-famous Boy-Who-Lived, Harry Potter.
But it seemed that in this case he was just a normal first year that everyone else felt wasn't enough to warrant them staring at him like they had been doing just yesterday. There was now a much more interesting target, or rather targets, for their imaginations to run wild on.
The fact that most of the staff was absent didn't help quell the students and really just went to confirm the rumours that had started to spread by word of mouth.
The hall was suddenly flooded with owls of different sizes and colours, delivering their payload to the right people, and within seconds, it was like the last straw had been set on fire and all hell broke loose.
Students jumped from their seats after they read the front page of the wizarding newspaper, The Daily Prophet.
Plastered on said paper was Logan's face, and it moved like it was a small video that was on repeat, with the word UNDESIRABLE in bold at the top.
It was a wanted poster, and at the bottom of it was a giant No. 1, meaning Logan had jumped right to most wanted in magical Britain.
If the hall wasn't on fire with gossip before, it certainly was now.
People were so busy that they didn't notice when the twins and Harry, running after them, left the hall suddenly after reading the paper and what crimes Logan was accused of. It was mostly for the murder of high Ministry officials and Aurors, and for stealing something very valuable from the Ministry.
...
"Do you think that Logan's alright? I mean, if he's wanted, that should mean that he got away from them and is probably hiding somewhere, right?" Harry asked them, worried about the first person that had been kind to him.
The twins didn't stop walking. Where they were going, Harry didn't know, but he anxiously waited for an answer.
"Logan's smart. He'll know what to do to fix all this," Flora said to him.
Both girls were confident that what she said was the truth. No other thoughts even crossed their minds. They may have been shocked when Logan was suddenly arrested, but they grew stronger from it, and so did their faith in Logan's abilities.
"Thank you for that, ladies. I'm glad that you trust your man so much."
Logan smirked after coming out from behind a stone pillar that they were about to walk past.
The twins instantly jumped on Logan, hugging him as tightly as they could, showing their deep love and affection for the one person that they had both poured so much attention and love into over the years.
"I had to speed up my plans due to a little hiccup, so prepare to leave. But don't worry, I already had some of the elves pack up all your things. We really just have to grab a few more things before we go. I'll need your help with that, Harry," Logan explained to his girls before looking to Harry, who was bewildered as to why Logan needed his help, pointing to himself like he was asking if he had the right Harry.
...
"Now just imagine your mirror self putting the stone into your pocket," Logan explained as they stood in front of a larger, full-length mirror with a descriptive frame holding it up, and some strange, unreadable writing going along its sides.
Harry did as asked, and his eyes widened when he saw exactly as Logan said. His mirror image did put the red stone that was in his hand into his pocket, and he then suddenly felt a weight in that same pocket.
Reaching in, he grabbed the red stone and inspected it closely. Logan beside him was doing the same thing, but he was actually using his magic to get a feeling as to what the stone actually did.
What he got was confusing, but the most sense he could make of it was that the stone stored every type of energy it came in contact with, be it heat, light, sound, or magic, and you would then be able to use that energy for whatever you wanted or just compress that energy into a liquid to drink and then extend your life.
"Thanks for that, Harry. It's just what I need to power something important," Logan said as he took the stone from Harry and then passed it on to Dobby, who disappeared right after.
"What are you going to power?" Harry asked curiously.
"Oh, just my house."
...
After having a very tiring day trying to fix the mess that Logan had made, Dumbledore Apparated back into his office with his eyes closed. After doing it so many times, it had just become a habit, so he didn't need his eyes to find his desk and instead opted to rub his tired old eyes.
He sat down with a mighty sigh. Not even bothering to look, he reached out to grab a lemon drop and popped one in his mouth.
"Umm~ that's better. But sadly, I now regret leaving White up to his own devices, even if he would have been a very valuable weapon against Tom. Not if he was going to cause this mess. Actually, thinking of Tom, how's he doing with the wards I set up to protect the stone?" Dumbledore thought aloud, used to the privacy that his office provided.
Trying to get up to go look at that trinket he tied to the wards protecting the stone, he was surprised when, instead of moving like he wanted, he was unable to move a muscle, like he was glued down to the chair.
"What's going on?" he panicked slightly, his tiredness playing against his normal calm state of mind that he had perfected over the years.
"Oh, that would be my fault. Hello, Dumbledore. How's your day been?"
Logan said as he came out from under the Invisibility Cloak that he had found locked away in Dumbledore's office.
Getting in had been easy, but it did require some elbow grease to finally open it, and then it was just a matter of removing everything Dumbledore had done to it, like tracking spells and spells that would alert him if the cloak was being used, probably how he knew where Harry was when he was using it in the movies.
"Mr. White! What have you done to me?!" Dumbledore raged as he tried yet again to get up or reach for his wand, but was only successful in wiggling his head a little bit, which only went to making Logan laugh in his face, which he clearly didn't like if the look on his long-bearded face was any clue.
"I poisoned your lemon drops. You won't be able to move for a very long time, even with your great magical reservoir to pull from."
Dumbledore looked shocked that his most favourite sweet would be his downfall.
"Ah, you won't be needing this anymore."
Logan said after he pulled Dumbledore's wand from his forearm holster and put it into his own forearm holster.
He then also took the wand that Dumbledore had hidden on a chain behind his beard.
"Not this one either, I'm afraid."
Logan said as he snapped that wand into pieces. A hair of some kind was shown to be in the centre of the wand.
Dumbledore showed a very pained look when Logan found and then snapped his original wand.
"Mr. White, you don't understand the danger of the wand you took from me. You are not compatible, and it will just attack you if you try to use it," Dumbledore tried to convince Logan. He couldn't bear to lose the Elder Wand right now, not when Tom was right in the castle as well.
"Don't play dumb. We both know that this is no ordinary wand, and it now belongs to me. After all, I did beat and then take it from you, making it recognise me as its new master," Logan explained, enjoying the look on Dumbledore's face when he realised that Logan was right and that he knew about the Deathly Hallows. It didn't help that he also now had the Invisibility Cloak as well.
"Here, we'll make a trade."
Logan said as he dropped his old wand on the table in front of the paralysed old man.
Ever the curious one, Dumbledore spread out his magic and tried to sense Logan's wand, only to find out that it was a piece of wood, nothing more.
"This is just a stick..." Dumbledore mumbled, confused, but Logan heard him loud and clear.
"Yeah, well, I tried all of Ollivander's wands and none fit me, so I decided to just take a blank he had just carved and use that one to keep up with appearances, when all this time I was actually just using wandless magic. This will do me nicely, though. It amplifies your magic, if I'm not wrong?" he asked Dumbledore rhetorically, lifting his right arm and gesturing to the Elder Wand strapped to his forearm.
"Why are you doing this, Mr. White?" Dumbledore begged for an answer as to why all his perfectly laid-out plans were being destroyed one after the other by a teenager.
"Honestly, because I got bored of waiting around for things to happen, and even when things did start, like with that little game you are playing with Harry and Voldemort, even that was boring. So I decided to flip the board, starting all over again in a new place where action and adventure are abound!"
Logan spoke with passion that also showed throughout his entire body and his gestures.
"How do you plan to do that?" Dumbledore asked tiredly, starting to lose consciousness, but he was still trying to hang onto the waking world, even with the claws of sleep climbing their way up his body.
"By completing the Deathly Hallows, of course."
Logan said like it was clear to everyone what he was going to do, and with those words, Dumbledore lost his battle and was sent to dreamland as punishment.
...
When Dumbledore woke up, he was in an empty room. Looking around, he could barely recognise it without everything that it used to hold, but looking behind him, he saw the same view that he would see every other day.
This was his office.
Logan had taken everything, even the things that were nailed down to the floor, and it looked like he also took those nails with him when he left.
He didn't trust the Goblins, so he also kept his money in his office. That was gone. All his valuable books, gone. The Sorting Hat, gone. Even Fawkes was gone. He didn't know how Logan had managed to do that one. He would've had to break the ritual that he used to keep Fawkes with him against his will.
All he had left in the whole world now was the chair he was sitting on and a bowl of lemon drops that Logan had left right in front of him on the ground, as if to taunt him with what had happened.
Suddenly, the chair he was sitting on disappeared from underneath him, dropping him suddenly to the cold floor, and with a loud and painful crack, something was broken.
Dumbledore moaned in pain as he tried to crawl to the hiding place where he kept the stash of Phoenix tears he had saved up ever since he had managed to enslave Fawkes, hoping desperately that they were still where he hid them.
Finally reaching the stone that he used to hide the tears, he pushed down on one of its sides and lifted it up from where it protruded from the floor.
Reaching in, he felt a small bottle with what sounded like it had liquid inside, and without any hesitation, he popped the cap and downed the whole thing, just so that the pain would go away.
He waited for the healing to start. Seconds passed, and then minutes, with nothing happening.
He grew more and more worried as the time passed.
Looking down at the bottle, he saw that it had a label on its side that wasn't there before.
It read:
'You just drank poison, son!'
"Oh, shit..."
...
"What do you hope to accomplish by killing Albus?" the Sorting Hat complained as he sat on the top of Logan's head, his thinking cap turned into a headband so that he wouldn't have to take it off and lose its benefits, especially when he was wearing the Sorting Hat, created for the sole purpose of reading people's minds. Identifying their qualities was just a side effect of that.
"I free Harry from his clutches and the plans he had for him. Greater good, my shapely ass. If you want someone dead, don't play around with it and just do it. I hate people that manipulate everything and everyone they come in contact with, especially those people that do it on instinct and just so happen to be good at it," Logan ranted to the hat as they—well, he—walked through a dark forest.
"And I also get one more player off the board. This might surprise you, but I actually do want to also get rid of Voldemort as well. But to do that, I needed Dumbledore out of the way, and let's face it, he would have never lived for much longer. Maybe another five more years," Logan said as they came upon a house that was more like a shack with how run-down and decrepit it was after years of neglect.
"Get ready. It's going to be just like I said. You'll be facing strong compulsions, expect mental attacks and 'very' dark magic. Don't mess this up. You're my last line of defence, understood?" Logan said to the Sorting Hat like he was giving a mission briefing as they stood at the door.
"Don't worry, I'll do my job. I don't want to be stuck on your rotting corpse in this dingy shack, after all," the Sorting Hat explained with pride in its own abilities, the very same ones that the Hogwarts four founders had made into it when they built the Sorting Hat.
"Let's get to it, then," Logan said as he pushed the door open.
Logan and the Sorting Hat entered the shack and looked around for traps. Not that Voldemort would have made it that easy, though. Seeing none, he used his magic sense to detect if there were any magical traps or wards in place that he might set off.
From what he felt from his magic sense, the only defensive magic was under the splintering wooden bed. Banishing the bed into nothingness with a flick of his hand, he stared down at the last piece of the puzzle that he needed to complete the Deathly Hallows: the Resurrection Stone.
It was attached to a ring that Voldemort had made into a Horcrux, one more he could add to his growing collection, right alongside the twisted metal spoon and yellow rubber ducky.
As soon as he saw it, Logan felt a compulsion charm pushing against his defences, the strongest he had ever faced, and he had made sure to practise against them when he was building up his mental defences in the beginning.
"Hat."
Logan exclaimed when he started to feel the compulsion actually attacking his mind like a mental probe from an enemy wizard trying to read his mind.
Snape and Dumbledore had nothing on this compulsion. It must be fuelled by the Horcrux, Logan thought to himself.
"Yeah, I feel it. Don't worry, I'll take the brunt of the attack. You just destroy it already."
The hat sounded strained as it spoke. Logan did feel the force on his mind lessen, though.
After that, he didn't wait. He summoned the Resurrection Stone to his hand with wandless magic, and with the Elder Wand in his other hand, he forced the ring to separate from it. He then flung it outside into the forest, making it break through the wall when it went with the speed of a charging rhino.
After he got further away from the ring, Logan couldn't feel the compulsion trying to attack his mind, so he assumed that it needed to be within a certain distance to attack someone. But he didn't relax his mind from high alert just yet. He would only calm down when he saw that the ring was burned in hellfire.
"Good job, Hat."
Logan said, taking the Sorting Hat off his head. He then held it in front of him so that it was facing him.
"Now hand over the sword. I know Gryffindor gave you the ability to summon it."
Logan grinned at the hat's upset look.
Suddenly, a silver sword dropped out from the hat, hitting the ground with a thud and clang.
"How the hell did you know I could summon the sword? Not even Albus knew?!" the hat bellowed in anger.
Logan ignored the hat and just put it back on his head and then picked up the sword, the very same one that supposedly only came to true Gryffindors. It was a good thing you didn't need to be one to use it.
"Don't worry about that little detail. Just be ready to protect my mind once again. It's time to slowly kill Voldemort for good, piece by piece," Logan said as he stepped out of the shack, sword in hand, ready to destroy something that was supposedly unbreakable.
They saw that the ring had landed in front of the shack, and it had started killing everything around it. The grass was rapidly decaying, and the ground was becoming blackened. The scent of death was in the air.
"Ready?" Logan asked as he walked towards the ring, once again feeling the compulsion trying to attack his mind.
"Finish it quickly!" the Sorting Hat shouted, sounding desperate and strained. It seemed that the ring was giving the hat much more trouble than before. Most likely, the ring was draining energy from its surroundings and was using it to fight back.
Logan didn't waste any time after that. He rushed forward with the sword in position to strike. It only took half a second for Logan to be in range, and he was already in motion with his swing when suddenly the twins appeared above the ring, and it looked like they were about to try and stop him.
But Logan already knew of the Horcrux's tricks from the movies and so didn't hesitate to also cut down his girls to get to the ring.
The twins separated into wisps of black smoke when Logan's sword passed through them, and it came right down onto the ring, breaking it in half and releasing a large amount of the same black smoke the twins were made of.
But this smoke had a screaming face. It looked just like a young man's face, most likely what Voldemort looked like when he made the Horcruxes when he was younger.
Releasing a breath, Logan calmed down and thought back to how he killed the ring, how it tried to use his girls against him, and how he needed to go see them as soon as possible to make sure that they were actually okay.
...
After visiting the twins briefly back at the Black family home, he went off to Gringotts under the Invisibility Cloak.
He pulled it off after he was in the back of the bank where a Goblin was waiting for the next customer. He only raised his eyebrows when Logan suddenly appeared in front of him.
"Mr. White, please follow me."
A Goblin said as he led Logan down to the underground area underneath Gringotts, where all the vaults were kept.
"And you needn't worry about the Goblin nation handing you over to the wizards. We are still happy to be doing business with such a valuable customer."
The Goblin said as they travelled very quickly on the cart, its tracks spinning and sparking when they went around a bend.
Taking the cart, they were heading down to the bottom where they had the vaults for the most important holders for the bank, like the Blacks, the Malfoys, and also the Lestranges, the very vault he actually came to see today.
After finally reaching the bottom, they both got out of the cart, and the Goblin then took out a cowbell-looking thing and started to use it. It made a loud clacking sound that hurt your ears when you heard it.
Accompanying the bell was a pained roar of a beast that seemed to be hiding ahead of them.
Walking around the corner, they came face-to-face with a very large and very pale dragon with bone-like spikes going along its spine. It also had smaller spikes along the rest of its body and wings.
Logan always felt a lot of pity and sadness when he saw what was happening to the once-great king of the skies, but it was now just a beaten and chained-down creature that would probably never see the natural sunlight again...
...not unless he did something about it.
It looked like he would have one more task before he could leave Gringotts behind for good.
Suddenly pulling out the Elder Wand, Logan used the Imperius Curse on the Goblin, the extra power to the spell from the wand making the Goblin completely under his thumb. He didn't get the chance to resist the curse, and it now wouldn't wear out for a long time.
He then made him stand to the side as quickly as his little legs could make him, so that he didn't get eaten by the now very pissed-off dragon that had just tried to tail-bash him into the ground.
Fighting the dragon was easy when you considered all of Logan's advantages over it: the Elder Wand adding power to his already mighty magic, the dragon's own weakness caused by years of abuse. It only took transfiguring the ground into hands that grabbed the already-chained dragon to hold it in place while he used some overpowered cutting spells, the very same that are used for cooking, and cut its head off, killing it instantly.
It was then just a matter of using a soul-containment ritual to grab the dragon's soul before it realised that its body had died and passed on to this world's version of the afterlife.
He then used the Dementor dust he had with him to infuse it within the body, like the core of a wand, put the soul back in the body, but now it was contained in the Dementor dust and so wouldn't leave.
It was then just the case of turning it into a tattoo so that it would always be with him, and it also meant that he now had a mount that could fly.
Once that was done, he now had a white dragon tattoo that also moved across his skin like the Basilisk did, and it actually looked like they could interact.
It also looked like their first meeting didn't go off so well, if the small brawl Logan witnessed happening on his skin was any indication.
The fight ended in what looked like a tie, and after that the two creatures separated and didn't come close to each other anymore.
The Basilisk stayed up near his neck, where it liked to wrap around it like it was able to choke Logan, and the dragon was sniffing around the fighting aliens right now, but it quickly lost interest when it didn't get a reaction out of them.
"Alright, Mr. Goblin, you can open the Lestrange vault now," Logan said to the brainwashed Goblin, who was still standing to the side where Logan had left him with a brain-dead look on his face.
Once the Goblin heard him speak, he started moving, walking over to a vault and putting his hand to the surface, making a pulse spread all the way through it.
The locks on the front of the vault moved together so that they folded away to the side. The door soon opened by itself after that.
The vault was stocked full of gold items and other valuable things that just so happened to fall into his unlimited storage bag. He honestly had no idea how that happened.
Another thing that he found in all the things that the Lestranges had thrown into their vault was an old-looking cup, the very same one that Helga Hufflepuff made and is said to be filled with different magical abilities. It's just that no one had used the cup for that yet, so its abilities were unknown.
It was also the same cup that Voldemort used as another Horcrux.
Putting the cup in a container for now, Logan was about to walk back to the cart so he could leave when he saw one of the other vaults with a family crest that he slightly recognised.
"Who's vault is that?" he asked the brainwashed Goblin, who seemed more interested in counting the dust in the air than anything else.
"That is the Malfoy vault. Would you like me to open that one as well, Mr. White?"
The Goblin asked Logan, who just grinned madly at the dazed-looking Goblin.
